- Nerea's various abilities all fall under the general term of Thermal Manipulation
Thermal Manipulation: Nerea's primary power is manipulating temperature, a form of kinetic energy between particles at the atomic or molecular level: the greater the movement of these particles, the greater the thermal energy thus heat or... fire. And if reversed, what does this entail? It means that with a rapid enough shift, Nerea can freeze things in place but would not be able to control the ice itself. By shifting molecules fast enough, Nerea could create fire or explosions but again, wouldn't be able to control the fire once created. She could shape the fire or explosion during creation (shaped blasts and the like) but could not prevent the fire from spreading through thought. In summation, Nerea can lower or raise temperature which can result in launching waves of ice or shooting scorching hot flames.
Thermal Resistance: An important side effect is Nerea's ability to resist/survive extreme temperatures as well as the resultant effects of such rapid shifts. Additionally, Nerea is immune to effects such as burning or frostbite. This means Nerea is immune to her own powers.

- Inexperience, Nerea has just come into her abilities so she's unaware of the true capabilities of her powers.
Can't control the ice/fire she creates meaning that she is weak to manipulators of those respective elements.
➳ How do they act?
- Nerea is passionate and driven but prone to sullen moods. She abhors idiots and loves ripping them to shreds through sarcasm. She's quick to anger, but equally quick to cool down. Ultimately a mercurial personality. She's a little lost at the moment, having just come into her powers. Her view on the world is in a current tilt and who she meets might just influence her path tremendously. She's naturally suspicious of anyone's "good intentions" due to some bullying she went through as a kid when she was still learning English.
➳ What's their backstory?
- Nerea is transplant to Chicago, she moved to the city when she was 8 from Northern Spain. Cruel as school children are wont to, they teased her as she struggled to learn English. Her reply was to be scathing in return, even after she learned it completely. She bears a grudge still against those kids. Her life continued and she was much more comfortable in High School though still distant to the other kids. Now finishing up her Sophmore year, Nerea was looking forward to the summer when she was the victim of a robbery. Dragged into an alley and threatened at knife point, Nerea snapped under the stress. Her scream however resulted in the destruction of the alley as it and her assailant were swallowed up in ice. She has just fled the scene, panicking and wondering what the hell is going on...
