He had an idea, since the earrings only worked in his favor. Kyrian wanted to make Mano something he figured the other would remember him by. No he wasn't scared that he was going to be replaced...he hadn't had that fear grip him in months. That was a good thing. He was far to used to his mind overthinking and freaking out over little things that weren't really a threat. He hummed as he sat in front of his journal. Drawing was something he had dabbled in off and on, mostly sketches of Mano...some of the beasts that were with them.
He sat in their room at the Inn they were staying in. In exchange for their stay, Kyrian played each night they planned to remain. As for food...well that was in exchange for how much he playing earned the Inn. He looked at the strips of Leather in front of him, the thick needle used to sew it, thick thread, as well as random little things he had in his bag. Things he picked up along the road. He had cleaned the small pile of stones...bones and leftover beads from his earring craft. Sketching out what he wanted he laid out the pattern. The leather strips were bent, they seemed to fit around the back of his neck rather well. He got the strips from a nearby leatherworker who gave him the imperfect scraps after a few compliments and a promise of a song just for him at the Inn that night. He did feel that the male's hand went where Mano's usually was, he brushed it off before Toriu could react.
One was bigger than the other, he set that aside for Mano. Taking up the other, he took the needle. Poking through the ends of the strip to create holes for a fastener string. He hummed as he looked at the strip. Perhaps he should test a few pieces before he felt he got this design that he wanted...
