2017 Proving Grounds Tour Night One
Seattle Proving Grounds

The FFA Arena in Seattle, Washington was the venue and the crowd was extremely hot for their home town promotion.

Eight Man Tag Team Match
The MOB vs Vince Caputo, Miles Infido, and The Other Guys
(J-Money, Zero, Crestwood, Revy) (James Caputo and Scope)
-Infido seems to be being courted by James to join his faction, but he isn't buying it.
-Crestwood def. Scope via Black Hole Slam

Post Match In Ring Segment
J-Money and his ilk are celebrating their win, when they start to beat down on Scope for no real reason. When Vince, James and Infido try to stop it, they are dealt with one by one, beating on Scope in between until The House Our Father Built makes the save. The trio dive into the ring and clean house, leading to Railery hitting the #Finisher on J-Money, driving his head into Money's own Platinum Championship. The crowd was in love with J-Money, Railery, Kayla, and Serenno, all home-town heroes.

Kelsey and Katie vs Ambrosio and Josh Madwall
-Katie is still wearing her medical tape on her abs, but is competing anyway
-Ambrosio locked Katie in the Walls of Ambrosio, who tapped out, but Kelsey was the legal woman at that point so it didn't count
-Kelsey def. Ambrosio via pinfall after a Whiplash DDT

Vignette
Ashalar Voidstrider is shown on the screen, and as usual he has nothing good to say about the longevity of the planet. Predicting world's end within the next year, he is looking for men and women of like mind to help him call to the one being that can save them all from Death.

Six Man Co-Op Match
House Landry vs Jayce Myraj, Proto, and Domino
(Matthias Landry, Matty T., and Jeffy C.)
-Jayce def. Jeffy C. via pinfall with the 8th Evil Ex

Backstage
Grif and Kurast are talking backstage about their assaults on each other the past few months, seemingly having some begrudging respect for one another as a result. Grif is still very salty about the swirly action. They recognize they are not booked tonight, and with Shane Tuu well... uh... dead, they don't know who to see about getting a match. They are approached by THE WARBOT, who's metal chassis has been spray painted to resemble a suit. WARBOT informs the duo that for the meantime, his programming has been altered to serve as an authority figure until such a time as a replacement can be found or Shane Tuu is restored to the living plane. Grif asks WARBOT what makes the robot the most qualified candidate, to which WARBOT reminds Grif that 99% of all physical confrontations with the WARBOT end with WARBOT ripping peoples skulls in half, and the company thought having a temporary GM that couldn't be compromised would be the best option. WARBOT gives them a match for the night as a tag team.

Team D&D vs Grif and Kurast
-Non title
-Grif and Kurast get along surprisingly well as a tag team against the new champs, but inevitably start to fall apart and end up fighting each other while Team D&D watch. Grif gets the upperhand and knocks Kurast out with the OOA
-Dylan def. Grif via pinfall after a Searcy Kill

Backstage
Marx and Dodge are talking backstage. Dodge asks Marx if he wants him (D) at ringside for the main event against the world champion, to which Marx declines. Raj Delrey enters the shot, which causes the crowd to go ballistic, as Dodge, Marx and Raj were an independent faction in EXCALIBUR and LUX known as the House of the Rising Sun. Raj wishes Marx good luck, while Dodge suggests that Raj needs a dance partner for the night. Raj shakes his head and instead suggests that they catch up later, and match up much later.

The Bloody Stampede vs Legato and Sephiroth
-The crowd hated the Bloody Stampede from bell to bell. As Seattle is the home to FFA, no crowd has had to endure the Bloody Stampede for as long as Seattle has, and they have literally zero patience for them, they are without a doubt the biggest heels to the Seattle crowd no matter what they do
-Legato def. Vash via pinfall after a Luminaire

Backstage
Vince Caputo backstage asks WARBOT if there is room in the Chase starting on Night Two for him, a former FFA Champion. WARBOT tells him that there is in fact room for one more person, but does not mention the other three competitors by name. WARBOT calculates that he could let Vince be in the Chase, but statistically speaking, most GMs would force Vince to earn it, and so he books Vince in a qualifying match tonight instead.

Championship Chase Qualifying Match
Vince Caputo vs DELTA
-DELTA entered to his old school theme song, As Daylight Dies, for one night only, as the FFA crowd is most familiar with it and it got a big pop as Vince's surprise opponent.
-Delta dominated Vince for quite some time, as one of the longest rivalries in FFA history continued between the tallest and shortest FFA wrestlers
-Delta went for a Delta Bomb from the middle rope, which Vince countered with a hurricarana at the last second.
-Vince def. Delta via pinfall with the Swanton Bomb. Vince qualified for the Championship Chase on Night Two......
-Except after the match Delta flipped his s**t and Delta Bombed Vince out of the ring. Delta continued on to Delta Bomb him through the announce table at ringside, and then one last time on the ring apron, which Vince ragdolled, having been seemingly KO'd by the first Delta Bomb in the first place.

In Ring Segment
The Monitor arrives at the arena and talks about his losing to J-Money at Cataclysm. The Monitor says that he took his eye off the ball and for that he is no longer allowed to challenge J-Money for the Platinum Championship, because The Monitor is an honorable man and can be held at his word. He knows that the fans are interested, however, in a spot of news regarding the mysterious person in a mask that has been helping the Monitor every week for a month, and introduces the fans to Tanuki, his new super hero sidekick. The female wrestler comes out dressed in a ridiculous but adorable tanuki themed mask and outfit. The Monitor says it is high time he takes on a protege like Landry once did for him, and that he and Tanuki are entering themselves into the tag team division in the name of JUSTICE!

Main Event
FFA World Championship Match

"The Reaper" Seita Gray © vs "The Superkick Sheriff" Marx
-The competitors get a big fight feel entrance and announcement, treating the match as being an extremely big one
-Crowd is solidly behind Marx, Seita is being boo'd by pretty much everyone, but as usualy this doesn't seem to matter to the Reaper of Souls.
-Marx tries to out-wrestle Seita, like Raj tried at Cataclysm, and while it works at first, several of the moves Marx tries are the same that Raj tried, and Seita managed to counter these ones, having clearly learned from his match with Delrey.
-Seita countered Marx's superkick several times, either by catching it and transforming it into a suplex or boot, or simply dodging it. Marx kept going for it though, until he finally kicked Seita in the face, sending him flying out of the ring over the top rope.
-Marx hit Seita with another superkick in the middle of the ring, dead center, and went for the pin, only for Seita to kick out dramatically at 2, locking Marx in the Acceptance at the same time. Marx kicked and thrashed his way to the ropes, and Seita finally released him, but shortly after he hit Marx with the Hero Stone.
-Seita Gray def. Marx via pinfall with the Hero Stone to retain the championship
-After the match, Seita got on the microphone and stood in the center of the ring with a spotlight on him. Seita mentioned the same end of days that Ashalar, earlier in the show, had stated. Seita said that he had seen the future, and knows that the Championship Chase will not go as everyone plans. Four men will enter, but even after one remains, no man will face him at Exile for the FFA Championship. A swarm of ravens surround him and when they fly away, he is gone, and the show ends.
