Free For All Wrestling Entertainment Presents...

Cataclysm 2017

FFA Co-Op Championship Match
Katie and Kelsey © vs Dylan Farr and Dyne Daywreck (Team D&D)
-Katie is still sporting medical tape around her midsection, wrestling with an injury as the commentators mention to the TV audience.
-D&D def. Katie and Kelsey to win the FFA Co-Op Championships after Dyne hit Katie with the Clothesline from Hell

Countdown Match
Domino Ando vs Miles Infido
-First Countdown match in years. Rules of the match are explained. Each wrestler starts the match with a number of points, or "counts", in tonight's case 15. Each time a person is pinned, the amount of times a referee makes a count, that total is subtracted from the wrestler's count total. When a wrestler taps out, the amount of times they tap is subtracted. The first wrestler to deplete his opponent's count to 0 wins.
-Infido is wily throughout the match, trying to get short pinfalls on Domino to deplete his total. After several school boys and other various hard hits, Infido is winning 15-8
-Domino does not even attempt a single pinfall or submission.
-Domino def. Infido with 3 Counts remaining after hitting a Sunfall off the top rope on Infido and scoring all 15 of his pinfalls in one go.

FFA Platinum Championship Match
Steel Cage Match

J-Money © vs The Monitor
-The Monitor locked the cage door permanently with a padlock at the beginning of the match. He threw the key out into the crowd, meaning that escape through the door would not be an option.
-The Mob came out to the ringside area and tried to interfere but couldn't get the door opened.
-J-Money def. The Monitor by pinfall with the Ca$h Out. This was after The Monitor took time to dropkick Zero through the cage wall. Zero was climbing the wall to try and get involved in the match.
-After the match, the cage was raised and the Money Sink swarmed the ring and started to attack The Monitor after the match. A masked woman came out from under the ring and scaled to the top of the cage, leaping off onto the Mob and saving the Monitor!!! The Monitor and the mystery girl escaped the cage and celebrated on the ramp, leaving the Mob laying in the ring in the cage! The crowd was really wow'd by the girl who leapt off the cage.

FFA Infernoweight Championship Match
Inferno Match

Josh "Mad World" Madwall © vs "The Innovator" Mike Landry
-Several fire pits and pyrotechnics have been set up all around the ramp, ring, and stage area for this match, allowing for many different possible ways to set each other on fire.
-The match is a very comedic affair, which is really in tone with FFA's style. The most dangerous match, the one involving lighting each other on fire, is the funny match. At one point, Landy's head got wrapped up in Josh's scarf/cape and set on fire, but luckily Landry managed to dunk his head in water to save himself. The match continued because no part of Landry was ever technically actually on fire, just Josh's attire.
-Josh def. Mike Landry via inferno when Mike tried this trick again but this time dunked his head into a bucket of oil, lighting his entire body on fire.

Hardcore Match
Serenno King vs Kelly King 2.0
-Serenno, Railery, and Kayla used the House Our Father Built entrance rather than Serenno entering alone, which clearly incensed 2.0
-The entire match was weighted in Serenno's favor. Each time King started to get the upperhand, Railery or Kayla would step in and either stop 2.0 from attacking Reno, take weapons away from him, or in Railery's case even take a Downgrader for Serenno, shoving Reno out of the way.
-2.0 was busted open by Serenno off a wicked steel chair shot, which brought him to his knees. Kayla slid into the ring with Scepter the Sledgehammer behind Reno... but the crowd collectively sighed and broke out into cheers when she handed it to Reno.
-Serenno King def. Kelly King 2.0 after a sledgehammer shot to the head.
-The three King siblings celebrated together, laughing and smiling at the defeat of their father, who was left alone in the ring to be tended to by ring doctors, bleeding profusely from the weapon shots.

Falls Count Anywhere Match
Grif vs Kurast
-This time, the match started in the ring before the fighting did, but did not spend much time there.
-The match made it's way into the lockerroom area, where the fighting eventually dived into the women's lockerroom. While no women were naked or even undressed, there was a moment where Grif got distracted by the ladies long enough for Kurast to suplex him through a table nearby.
-Kurast def. Grif in the bathroom hitting him with a GORE through a stall door, and giving him a swirly for so long he passed out, allowing him to be pinned.

Buried Alive Match
Marx vs Shane Tuu
-Marx controls most of the match but Shane Tuu, a former full-time wrestler, is no slouch. He still has quite the physique and as a former world champion, Marx is foolish to underestimate him early on.
-The ramp area is where the grave is set up for the loser to be buried in, with shovels and a dump truck nearby to expidite the burial process
-Shane takes a few bumps on the dirt mound, which is really rough and resounds in a few thuds as Shane hits the ground, which the fans openly groan at.
-At one point, Shane hit the Spear on Marx through the decorative tombstone that had been set up at the head of the grave.
-Shane started waving his arm at the backstage area calling for help from someone. Flint returned and started to make his way out to help Shane, but then Dodge appeared and threw Flint off the stage into the electrical equipment, causing a very brief power surge.
-Marx def. Shane Tuu. Marx superkicked Shane, who fell into the grave and was buried alive by Dodge and Marx. After the match, Dodge overkilled it and dumped the truck of dirt on the grave, burying Shane 6ft. under.

Main Event
FFA World Championship Match

"The Panther of Zenith Mountain" Raj Delrey vs "Death Himself" Seita Gray ©
-Big fight feel as Raj and Seita meet for the first time in their entire careers. Some go whole lifetimes without seeing match ups like this (and technically Seita DID go a whole lifetime without it.)
-Raj didn't seem intimidated by Seita, and tried to actively outwrestle him, and was very successful. Seita for all his powers isn't a mat technician, and Raj was doing a good job manipulating Seita's limbs and keeping Seita grounded, a very different strategy than what prior challengers had offered.
-Astoundingly, considering the rest of the show, the entire match took place between the ropes. Raj at one point hit a flying Knee to the back of Gray's head, which looked like it had actually knocked Gray out, but Seita rolled out onto the apron where he could not be pinned
-Seita caught Raj in his arms and flipped Raj onto Gray's shoulders to hit him with the Karōshi Scythe, but Raj amazingly kicked out at two
-Seita and Raj ended up in the middle of the ring, forearming eachother in the face and neck back and forth, brutally exchanging blows, but while Seita started to have more of an effect on Raj, Raj had less and less of an effect on Seita until his blows were practically not even hurting the Reaper. Finally, Raj ran the ropes and went for The Knee, but the lights flashed for a moment, and in that moment, Seita was behind Raj, leaving Raj to crash and burn on the mat.
-Seita Gray def. Raj Delrey via submission, making him pass out to the Acceptance. Seita retains the FFA World Championship.

Dirt Sheet Reports by Jessica Haro
-Few notes about injuries following Cataclysm. Firstly, FFA posted on their website that both Mike Landry and Shane Tuu had suffered "Temporary Death" at the show following their losses. This of course is a tongue in cheek way of the company saying that the two have been temporarily written off television and it is FFA's GO-TO injury of choice.

-Katie's injury talked about on the show is actually legitimate, her ribs were actually bruised during that table spot a couple of weeks ago, but she has been working anyway. Kelly King 2.0's injuries are said to look way worse than actually are. The chair shot busted him open the hard way, although blood was planned either way. He should be fine after some stitches.

-FFA is in talks with an indy company about doing a joint show some time in September or October. FFA will likely not do any weekly TV in September and will probably run a couple of supershows instead to build for Proving Ground, the next major PPV.

-Domino is said to be in line for a push going forward, creative is very high on him.

-Still no word on who the mystery girl is that keeps showing up to help the Monitor on TV, but identity will probably be revealed soon

-Sounds like something huge is planned for the 2.0/Serenno feud, so expect it to continue.

-No word on who, if anyone, is going to replace Shane Tuu on screen as an authority figure during his temporary death.

-There were once again plans to have the World title match take place before Marx/Shane or King/Serenno, but once again the decision was ultimately made to have the title match main event.

-FFA is looking to bring in more newer wrestlers to replace some of their older veterans who are looking to pull out of the spotlight and only wrestle sometimes. In particular, Katie, Vash, and Josh are all looking for time off or varying degrees of retirement. Josh, in particular, is huge news as if he were to take time off, which he has never done before, presumably that would mean his title reign would have to come to some sort of an end.

This recruitment drive has already been seen in bringing in Crestwood, Zero, Domino and Raj from the independent scene with so few time between them, and it's said that FFA are looking to add even more new blood, since wrestlers like Legato, Sephiroth and Scope are already basically part-time attractions.
