August 11, 2012: Don O'Connor was spotted near the docks. Any hero worth half their salt would be able to find him but knly a skilled one could stop him. A simple task made complicated by the fact that Don has escaped custody more than sixty three times.

Don O'Connor
The man of the hour stood on the deck of a ship he had recently commandeered. A word which here means he melted the man who owned it and then assumed that man's identity. It was a cargo ship and now carried a very specific type of cargo on it. A few people who could only be described as henchmen were currently working to load the last few shipping crates onto the ship and Don was growing impatient. He knew his men had been seen.He knew he had a limited time before someone came looking. He only hoped it wasn't a hero. Don found a lot of joy in killing heroes but right now he needed to get the shipment into the sea. The man who made him who he was had asked a favor. For the first time ever, the man had asked him a favor and Don intended to deliver. "Hurry up." Don whispered calmly to one of the men carrying the crates and he did exactly that. Don was a man who ruled by fear. Everyone who worked for him feared him and so his whispered words became terrifying orders. A few more minutes would pass before Don moved off the ship to a few of his men who were loading smaller crates into a truck. "Remember where you need to go. I'll take the helicopter and meet you there in a few hours."
"Boss, are you sure you want to do this? We're really out in the open here, maybe it would be better to let the heat die down a little." the man with the smaller crate asked as he moved it into the back of the truck.
"Don't question me. We are doing this now. If we wait the SIA will find the explosives. We are taking these now." It would b fair to say that the shipping crates did not belong to Don, but if no one interfered, they would.

Kirsten did her research before coming here with Evergreen though she has to admit: she was glad that her brother Darian didn't have an ear about this because otherwise they would be livid at the mention of torture. Granted, Darian thought that a quick death was the kinder way to kill than leaving someone to die. Like hunting a deer... even if her brother was never a fan of forest hunting. Too nerdy to even do that. And too focused on being a computer tech, too. She wasn't here to kill, though. They were here to capture O'Connor and be done with it, and she has to adjust herself about working with a team after spending years being a lone wolf.
The geokinetic was on her new and customized hooded apparel with some... help, from the Hero Society. Well, at least some resources to make an actually functional outfit. Kirsten's face was concealed and she felt more secure than worrying about her old scarf falling off from her face. Even if she's technically a legal superhero now, but she just feel better with concealment sometimes. She scouted the area for a bit and took note of how many minions were there. She went in to sneak behind some of O'Connor's goons with the help of Evergreen assistance with seeds. It was easy for her to manipulate plants when she was teamed up with him: two plant wielders were better than one, and it was pretty much efficient for the both of them.
The two vigilantes managed to restrain most of the men before they could react, mostly so that their only concern will be O'Connor and won't have to dread for his men to backstab them. Kirsten spotted the mastermind who has a scar on his face, clearly this man has seen it all. And with that, she knew that if anything- she shouldn't be underestimating the guy. At all.

Gabe was here on a mission, he was here with Randa, a fellow hero that had similar but different powers. She could work with more than just plants, she could use the soil itself. Gabe on the other hand was just the plants but while his was more one track, he was quite gifted in that regard. They were casing the docks and finalizing the plan. He had a clear picture as on the way here he has some non suspicious plants giving him a clear positioning on the scene. The both snuck to the ship's front and restrained the two that were there. Soon the driver and his lackey were neatly wrapped in vines. Mouths were covered but they could breathe. Strategically they took out lackeys. Trying to drop as many as they could before the main target could take notice. He was not liking this villain, they had a very dangerous power. Acid it not something to take lightly.

Don O'Connor
O'Connor found himself in the bottom of the ship making a contingency plan. Once it was done he would move back off of the ship holding a briefcase and walk towards the car but when he was not joined by some of his men at any point in his walk, suspicions began to rise. He had made it just off the ship by the time his real suspicions triggered. He saw no one, no heroes, but more specifically he didn't see his men. Maybe they were all done and just waiting the order to move? The again they already had the order. Don called over the radio but no one seemed to reply. Grimacing, he mumbled, "s**t," and then he looked to the sky. His helicopter was running a little late but he could see it and hear it coming towards the dock. It was maybe a minute from landing. Three of Don's men came tumbling out of the ship with heavy breathing and panic.
"Boss, team two isn't responding." They shouted to Don who turned and pulled his gun from a side holster. Acid was dandy but bullets were faster. One of the men held a shotgun and the other two had automatic rifles. They hadn't been taken by the vines but on the routine comm check the trucks had not reported in. The truck was within view as well, it had begun to leave but been stopped. The driver had stopped.
"Is the ship still mobile?" Don shouted to his men who were only beginning to get closer to him. The man in the middle with the shotgun, and upon closer inspection, rather expensive body armor, nodded. "Then radio for it to get moving and go get the trucks back on path we need all three shipments moving now!" Don looked at the briefcase that held his insurance plan and then the men nodded. They radioed the instructions and the ships crew members who had not yet been tied up (primarily the members on the control bridge who had not been tied up because the doors were deadlocked to prevent anyone and anything from getting in to stop them) began to pull the ship away from where it was docked. Don's men were drawing close to the truck and the people tied up inside and Don's helicopter was nearing the ground. Three tasks, two heroes. If any bombs got away it was safe to assume Don would have done what he wanted to do.

So many things happened at once. It was either to stop the boat, stop O'Connor, or stop the guys from getting to the trucks. "Ah s**t, he has a chopper," Randa grimaced, though she has an idea. Maybe she can get the rocks rolling and intervene to prevent O'Connor from getting to the helicopter. Keep him on the ground as much as possible. Because if he got off, they're doomed, period. The earth rumbled beneath her, the rocks bended and she surfed along with it. By surfing along, she was then faster towards the ship but before that... "It's either the ship, the trucks, or O'Connor. I'll stop the ship. We can stop O'Connor together." She warned him, especially when the men were on the move to said trucks. She lashed out a series of thick vines between the men and the truck, hoping to give them a disadvantage and give Evergreen the upper hand with his powers. After that, she summoned another and hooked one part of the ship with a series thick vines Evergreen had provided- preventing the ship from moving. This was going to take a lot of her willpower due to opposite forces, but she has done enough training about that. ******** this port setting, it lacked dirt and there's alot of cement.

“You guys looked like you could use a hand,” said someone over the comms. If they didn’t recognize the voice, they’d recognize the ground shaking as a man nearly sixty feet tall emerged, walking right towards the ship. It just so happened that their task was a good opportunity for Jay Soto, also known by his alias Colossal, to volunteer and show his worth; he was the new guy, after all. While nobody really sent him there, he thought he could have used the exercise. He cracked his knuckles, followed by his neck, “Wait ‘til they get a load of me.” He smirked and glanced at the chopper, basically daring it to come forward. He was all too ready to smack it into the water.

Gabe had been about to reply when hack up arrived, good they needed some extra hands."Sounds good, Rowan you keep the ship from leaving as long as you can, I'll stop and subdue the trucks, Colossal, that chopper needs to get grounded. Let's not blow it up we want to arrest not kill." Gabe said delegating out jobs. He was by no means the boss and would gladly take input but they needed to move time was of the essence. If no retort or input was provided he would be off after the trucks. As he moved he tossed come seeds out from the builtin pocket in his suit. they would quickly grow into near tree trunk vines that he could jump and land on. Using the massive growth rate he was causing them to grow as he was able to catch up to the recently departed trucks. Using warehouses and other building he got above the trucks tossing a few more seeds over them. these would form in the heavy duty vines, not unlike ivy. This was much more aggressive and would grow to make the trucks impossible to drive or have the drivers get out.

Don O'Connor
Well... s**t. O'Connor thought to himself as he saw the sixty foot man emerge directly in front of the helicopter. There were three heroes and that meant three people to stop the three escaping bombs. O'Connor's bomb sat within his briefcase, another in the back of a truck, and an armed bomb at the bottom of the ship. That was the contingency. Blow up the ship and force the heroes to save the people on it rather than stop him. Yet with a sixty foot man that was hardly going to be a challenge for them. O'Connor did not want to give up. He was afraid to fail the man who wanted the bombs. But he also knew that if he tried to escape he would be stopped and it would probably hurt. One eye was already gone, he would have preferred to keep the other. "Bring the chopper down." O'Connor ordered and within a few moments it would begin it's decent. He couldn't escape the sixty foot man and the vines held both his ship and trucks at a standstill. When it landed, O'Connor got out slowly and tossed his briefcase onto the floor. He was smart but not necessarily clever enough to use the unknown elements to his advantage. He would take the loss today, he knew he'd get out again.

Randa felt disturbed when she felt the ground shaking, wondering if there was another second wind going on. She already got her hands full, for God's sake, granted she was very used to operating quick sneaky battles (courtesy to her brother) before joining the Society. She has to get used to big long-winded battles, let alone with a team. She took a glance, only to see a colossal young adult man who she recognized enough to know that he's on their side. But on the other hand, she didn't know him that much and Randa didn't recall him being assigned him. "I don't recall you coming here with us, but make yourself useful," she dryly told Colossal. Randa wished she said something more wry than that but again, she's on the field. Randa decided to secure the vines hooking the ship by borrowing some of Evergreen's vines. She aimed to attack what looked like the pilot's house, at least restrain the one manning it. Eventually, she broke inside using the mobility she can find with the vines and captured the pilot, and stopping the ship from moving. It took some combat training and wits to succeed that, so she gotta thank her brother who taught her moves. "Got 'em," she said, relieved that the ship finally didn't have to move to the opposite direction. When Randa came back, O'Connor was already standing on concrete, the suitcase on the floor. She wanted to be relieved, but she felt that maybe it's a strap. At least that's what her brother would tell her. "Evergreen, we gotta make sure this guy wasn't going to do anything funny. Just to be sure, people like him looked clever enough," the geokinetic looked at the scarred man with skepticism. She may be a new hero, but she wasn't born yesterday.

It seemed Colossal just being there was already convincing the chopper to land, but the new blood saluted anyway, walking towards the chopper, though he eased up when it became more and more obvious that they weren’t going to even try and bail. Randa gave her two cents, cold coinage at that, but he got paid. He shrugged. “I mean, I was gonna go King Kong up in their s**t, Lil Mama, but it looks like we’ve already got it in the bag.” He crouched down by them. “We should call the feds. Oh, and what’s good, homie?” He extended a bro fist to the jolly green blind guy as a sign of good faith, despite the size disparity. “You guys probably didn’t even need me. I was just passing by and heard s**t was goin’ down. You think you can put a good word in for me with the boss lady for trying to help? I’m trying to rack up brownie points, you feel me?” Evidently he wanted to be on the main team instead, since he felt it was more his league, but he needed to prove he was up to it.
