Summer time was fast approaching, and Castiel found himself with a lot of free time as classes started to slow down and cut the students some slack. There were all sorts of festivities going on, lots of games being played and snacks being handed out. With all the cheer and festivities happening at the Academy, it seemed odd that Castiel would not be participating, being the social butterfly that he was.

Instead, Castiel was sitting on the ledge of the fountain, like his own father once did when courting his mum, notebook in hand and doodling his lover. Castiel's gut told him the two would always be together. It was the only illogical thinking that Castiel had ever had. So much could happen between two people to drive them apart ... but Kai and him? Castiel found it hard to believe. They just fit together so perfectly. There had never been another person like Kai for Castiel. From the way the two of the felt around one another, to the things they did, and the types of conversations they had — the deep, meaningful conversations.

Castiel was going to marry him. He knew it. Deep down in his soul he knew that Kai and him would have the family life Castiel never thought he wanted until he met Kai. It was like the two were joined by the red string of fate ... it made his heart soar just thinking about a future with his man.
