After the little stunt she pulled storming off in to the night from her family, BonBon was grounded for the entire summer vacation. It was tough being cooped up inside, but in hindsight, Bonnie could see where she went wrong. She put her family through a lot, not telling them where she was or intending to go. They had a rule in their family — they had to talk about their feelings. BonBon had ignored this rule, and instead, had marched off in to the night (2am no less!) and made plans to meet up with a friend. She had spent the night at Abigail's, sleeping soundly in her friend's bedroom. At least, until Abigail's mother came to check on Abi, the two having slept in until about 1pm in the afternoon. And when her mother saw that her daughter had sneaked in a friend in the middle of the night, there were words.

While the girls had been spotted by Abi's mum, Bonnie's family was scouring the campsite, trying to relocate BonBon. Out of cell service, the family was unable to contact Bonnie until they decided to head back to town two days of no trace of their daughter. When Bon's text went through that she had walked back to town with Abigail, her mother was furious. Feeling mighty embarrassed, Bon's mother had to call the police and call off the search as Bonnie had been found.

While this series of unfortunate events had been some months ago, her family was not letting Bonnie forget the whole fiasco. Since then, BonBon had become more closed off towards her family. Once upon a time, her family was something always guaranteed to bring a smile to Bonnie's face. And while the good times still happened, and her family still treated her well, her mother never forgot what happened that night.

Now, Bonnie spent most of her days and nights locked up away in her room, texting back and forth with Abigail. It was getting to the point where Bonnie was considering just moving in to the dorms at the Academy with Abigail. Unlike Bon, Aibigal was not having issues at home, however craved a sense of independence, even at her young age. It was Abi who had mentioned that she would likely be moving in to the dorms starting junior year. BonBon had never considered it before, but now ...

Bonnie was kind of curious to see what life without her family just downstairs would be like, but some small part of her was eager to find out.
