Looking for a pet? Or maybe you need supplies? Animel Angel has what you need. Owner Carlson is also a groomer and will take the time to groom your pets. If he doesn't have the pet you are looking for, Carlson will do the best he can to get it. If he can't obtain it, he will refund the money full value. Something out of stock? Carlson can order it and ship it to store with no extra charge. Carlson also likes to pick one animal from the adoption center to be a store companion. He likes to call it Companion of the Day. It also helps him narrow down whether the pet is good around crowds or not. Companions of the day get to have their adoption information placed at the counter where customers check out as well as having their picture placed under the Companion of the Day sign on the store front. Every Dog and Cat have the chance to be a Companion of the Day.

Carlson, as always, came in through the back, calling out to the animals as he passed, calling them by name. He stopped in front of one particular kennel and smiled down at the face that stared back up at him. He slipped out the paper that was hanging on the door as well as the picture behind it and opened the Kennel."Cassie, let's go girl, today is your day to shine."With a yip, Cassie ran out of her Kennel as he grabbed her collar from the door and closed her kennel. Cassie had ran to the front of the store and was waiting patiently by the counter. It was her third time doing this and he was positive she might be adopted today. He smiled as he knelt down and placed on her collar and put her adoption information in the display on the counter and walked over to the front door to unlock it and place her picture under the "Companion of the Day!" sign that was under the open sign. Most dogs and cats that were featured as the Companion of the day were adopted by the end of the day, but Cassie here had been passed up twice so far."Today, you gotta put on the charm. Make them fall in love with you. I know you will get a home, and soon."He scratched her behind the ears and then went to the shelves to make sure they were properly stocked. He thought about how nice it would be to have some permanent help around. He did like it when Kenna would come in and volunteer, but he couldn't hire her....not yet. He wanted to make sure she got through the academy, it helped him cope with his father's death and he was sure that it would help Kenna get over her fear of being a good Dark Magic user. But right now, he needed to find someone who was good with animals. It was important for this job after all.

Kenna led Kieran to the pet shop and smiled as she saw it was open. But she couldn't get in the door fast enough when she saw who the Companion of the Day was. She flung open the door and saw her favorite dog right away."CASSIE!"The dog that was relaxing in the dog bed by the counter's ears perked and looked over before yipping and running over to Kenna, licking her to death. Kenna's laugh echoed through the store as she pushed Cassie gently off her."Now now girl, it's good to see you too."Kenna heard footsteps approaching them. She smiled but then soon puffed her cheeks."Carlson, this is Kieran. He's a friend of mine. I was wondering if I could let him meet the dogs and cats."

Carlson was just finishing stocking the cat food when a familiar tingle of laughter echoed through the store. He heard Cassie's yips and could only come to the conclusion of one person must have walked in the door. As he approached the front, his suspicions were right."I should have known you were here. Cassie only ever yips like that for you. And knocks you on your back with her lethal kisses."Carlson looked over to the boy that was with Kenna."Boyfriend?"He couldn't help but laugh at how cute she looked when she puffed out her cheeks."I kid, I kid. You know pet visitations don't start for a few hours, but I think I can make this one exception."He smiled. Carlson saw Kenna as a younger sister of sorts. He also thought that if she ever asked for Cassie, he would give her to Kenna. Cassie and Kenna seemed to really hit it off. But she would have to get special permission from Michaella to keep a dog on campus.

Kieran walked into the store and looked around. It was definitely bigger than he thought it would be. Before he could say a word, he took notice to the dog that ran up to Kenna. 'That's one friendly dog. Oh yeah.' Within an instant, his wings became completely transparent. 'I wouldn't want my wings to knock over anything. Using ghost wings will solve that problem.'"Boyfriend? Well I am a boy and I'm her friend."
Carlson raised an eyebrow. Was this guy that dense or did he really not know the meaning of "boyfriend"? He shrugged and smiled at Kenna."You know your way, so head on back. And would you be a doll and take out the dogs."Carlson smiled. He figured she actually didn't really come here to work, but he did like having Kenna around, and the dogs enjoyed having Kenna to play with."Kieran, why don't ya help her."He laid a hand on Kieran's shoulder and smiled."You know, Kenna's a great girl. She really deserves to have someone good in her life. We aren't related, but she's like a little sister to me, so treat her well, or you will have to answer to me."Carlson smiled patting his shoulder before returning to the counter as some other customers walked in.

Kenna nodded and smiled. She scratched Cassie behind the ears. Her and Cassie were quite inseparable. But now she could let Kieran play with the dogs."Come on Kieran. You will love all the dogs here. Carlson only selects the best."She led Kieran to the back where the dog kennels were waiting for him when she noticed Carlson speaking to him. When he joined her, she had a smile on her face."Just open the Kennel doors and the dogs will come out. The back yard is fenced in so they won't go too far."Kenna couldn't help but think of the word "boyfriend". Sure he was a boy and a friend, but Angels weren't allowed to fall in love....were they? And it wasn't love she was feeling....right? I mean, she just met the boy yesterday, saved him in fact, but she really did like to be with Kieran, and it was obvious that both of them were similar in many ways. Their pasts it what linked them together.

Kieran smiled and watched Kenna. 'I'll have to ask Kenna about this whole boyfriend thing. I get the feeling that there is another meaning to it.' Before he could follow Kenna, he turned his attention to Carlson. "Why would I want to do anything to hurt her?" Catching up with Kenna, he smiled upon seeing the dogs. After listening to what Kenna said, he started to open the door.
Kenna smiled as one of the more timid dogs made his way to Kieran and stuck by his side. Kenna opened the back door to let the other ones out and walked over to Kieran."Seems like Jax found someone he likes. Jax was rescued from a home where he was neglected. He's sweet, but shy. Has no trigger points known so he's ok for adoption, but I think he's just waiting for someone who he feels comfortable with."Jax gave Kenna a small lick on the hand."Jax has only been open to me. So it's nice to see him open with someone else."Kenna stood up and walked over to the door and patted her leg."Come Jax. Time for a little outside time."

Kieran smiled even more as he watched the dogs take off. Taking notice to Jax, he looked down a little. 'I know how you feel little one.' He smiled a little more and bent down to pet Jax. "Hey there Jax. It has been a while since I got to pet a dog. There are some things that no person or dog should have to go through."
Kenna nodded and stood beside Kieran."Yeah. Some of these dogs are rescued from bad situations. Some were brought to Carlson by their previous owners to be put back up for adoption because of sad reasons and there are about 5 that have been born into Carlson's care."Jax had walked out and turned back to see if Kieran was following."Jax came from about the worse case of neglect. Thankfully, his previous owner was brought to justice, but his story pulls on your heartstrings for sure."Kenna smiled as Cassie came running back to make sure she had her outdoor time."Cassie has helped Jax though. I think that she was the reason he was able to open up to me. Sometimes I think they were probably litter mates the way Cassie and Jax interact with each other, plus they look very similar. They came from within a few miles from the other so it's possible."

Kieran smiled and followed Jax. "Well, I don't know why anyone would want to hurt an animal so sweet. A pet should feel safe in their home. It should be a place that they want to come back to. They just want to be with someone they trust." He then knelt down and started petting Jax once more. "It would be nice to have a good animal companion."
Kenna smiled as Jax licked Kieran."I think he might have already found someone he could trust. You should talk to Carlson about it."Kenna smiled as Jax laid on his back for his tummy to be rubbed."But to be honest, there are people who get a dog and don't know how to properly take care of them, or are stuck with something they don't want, as in Jax's case. Anyways....I wanted you to meet all the dogs."Kenna stood up and gave a whistle which all the dogs came in. With Cassie by his side, Jax wasn't too afraid as the other dogs gathered around Kenna and Kieran."Carlson has about 30 dogs at any given time. 20-30 cats as well, but these guys are like one large pack. How do we say hello to a new friend guys?"The dogs all started howling together, Jax and Cassie included. Some of them even came up to sniff Kieran and lick him. What Kenna didn't know is Carlson watching from the back. The customers that came in had thought about adopting Cassie, but he told them that she already had a potential adopter that came in and wanted to ask some questions back home before finalizing. Of course he was talking about Kenna.

Kieran started to laugh as Jax licked him. "It would seem that I found a new best friend." Smiling, he started to rub Jax's tummy. 'He's so friendly.' Before he could react, he found himself lying on the ground and being licked by the dogs. Upon being licked, he started to laugh even more. "It would also seem that they like me."
Kenna laughed as Kieran was attacked by the lethal kisses."I can tell you have a way with dogs. These guys haven't even done that to me."Kenna laughed and walked over to the door inside and gave a few short whistles and the dogs ran inside."Maybe Carlson could use a guy like you."

Kieran watched as the dogs took off back inside and stood up, smiling even more. "It must come natural or something like that. Dogs do have a good sense of character." He then walked over to Kenna and listened to what she said next. "What do you mean by that Kenna?"
