The Hunter Name: Fredrick Warren Nicknames: Fred, Freddie Gender: Male Age: 18
Division: Death - The "intelligence" operation, in charge of gathering information and maintaining the network of Hunters. They gather the information prior to a mission.
Personality: Driven by a need to be taken seriously by others, Fredrick does his best to stay on top of situations. He acts as if he knows exactly what is going on even when he doesn't really, because even having to scramble to keep from being called on it is better than being laughed at for being in the dark. He listens attentively to what others say, especially those with more authority than himself, both because he finds their stories interesting and because he feels the need to gather any information that might help him through his new job, even if only socially (which is what he could use the most help with anyway).
He embarrasses easily, unfortunately, and is too pale to hide that quite as well as he'd like, which really just makes it hard to stop being flustered once he gets started. Self-conscious to a high degree, he gets clumsy and sloppy in his work when aware he's being watched, and then beats himself up endlessly for the mistakes because he knows he should be able to do better. And truthfully, when able to focus on his work, he is clever enough to be exceptionally efficient at going through tasks once he's figured them out.
Fredrick is still struggling with adapting to the strangeness of his new circumstances and has his doubts about whether he should have joined up or not, especially after orientation, but given a chance he might be a good soldier yet. He will, at least, be a terribly loyal one to anyone willing to give him the time of day without laughing at him.
Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter?
Born with the ability to detect "evil beings" but unable to find anyone who would take him seriously for it, Fredrick has had to deal with near relentless teasing for most of his life. People wondering why he's being so jumpy, why he's being such a baby about going certain places, and even the occasional well-intentioned but equally hated concerns that maybe he's just been too stressed lately, maybe he should just take a break from his studies and calm his nerves instead of getting all up in arms about 'creepy shadows'. An honor graduate fresh out of high school and with no end of possibilities for college scholarships, his life should have been set. Instead, he packed a few things and set out to hunt down proof once and for all. When he was approached for recruitment, he accepted without much hesitation. A place where everyone would believe him sounded like heaven.

Quote:
A very, very rare form of conversion, one that happened purely from Horsemen entering permanent comas from the Cage that were unable to leave, minds permanently believing they are still in the Cage.
Because of this, they can much easier convert to weapons nearly identical to student conversions, though their minds are subdued, trapped, unable to discern if they ever left the Cage or what has happened to them. Questions and communication to them is vague at best, and bonding takes time, like teaching a child everything all over again.
Horsemen weapons, like their Student counterparts, do not remember what happened prior to conversion. All they remember is somehow, they need to help Hunters (because of the Cage making them think they were Hunters prior).
Horsemen weapons grow at the same rate as their student counterparts. They are sturdy, and while not the best conversationalists because of a horseman's naturally serious nature, are also self-sustained, meaning they will help when needed or necessary.
