Sasha Thompson April 11th, 11:58Sasha sat alone drinking coffee outside a cafe on main street, the sun was out and while the couple behind her was complaining about the heat, she couldn't help but revel in it. After the incident with the trucks last week she had been drifting about looking for a place to stay, Nate had disappeared and it didn't feel right hitting up Takuto, he seemed nice but he was willing to let her beat up a stranger to get what he wanted. He would probably be bad for her image, especially now she wanted to be a heroine. She didn't even try to find the Raven, what was the point, he was probably homeless too. Eventually she had just broken into Nate's place after exhausting all other avenues, it's not like he would mind. She turned the page of the magazine she was pretending to read, it was about some celebrities and their recent break up or get together, whatever it was bored the life out of her. Finally sick of the article, she put it down and took a sip from her coffee. She had wanted to make a good impression so had shown up much earlier than necessary but as the time ticked by it only made her anxious. What if this was all an elaborate set up? What if they were going to throw her in prison? She took a deep breath and calmed herself. No matter what happened she wasn't going to get violent. The meeting was for twelve, if all went well she would be on her way to being a fully fledged hero by dinner.

Jillian was here upon Olympia's and Agent Halo's request. Apparently one of the villians from the truck wanted to turn over a new leaf. Perhaps it was Jillian's non sterotypical hero look that caused here to be the one doing the intro. Well it was nice out for April so Jillian cracked out the tank top. Sure most of her tattoos where exposed but Jillian was not one to hide them. Its not like she couldn't, that was the beauty of her shapeshifting power she could infact make it look like she didn't have them. And she did when in hero uniform. She knew what Sasha looked like through a picture so she knew what table to approach "I take you're Sasha?" Jillian asked when she arrived at the cafe' table.

Sasha Thompson April 11th, 12:01Sasha was watching the road as she drank, her foot slightly submerged in the pavement as she tried her best to appear calm. She heard her name being called and stood up to greet the hero that had come to meet her. However in her haste, she banged her leg on the table causing her coffee to spill all over the table. "Yes. That's me." She grabbed a bunch of napkins and mopped up most of her mess, cursing under her breath for making it in the first place. Finally she turned to the woman who had said her name, embarrassed by her clumsiness. "I'm a little nervous." She shrugged it off and smiled. The woman wasn't really what Sasha was expecting, but that wasn't a bad thing, she had been worried that the hero they sent would be literally glowing and wearing a cape. At least this way they wouldn't be bothered by fanboys. "Sorry, not to be rude, but who are you and how do you know about me?" She really hoped that she was a hero and not an assassin from that league of villains that Morgana ran. That would be funny she thought to herself as she prepared to create a geyser beneath the woman's feet. "We should have really have had a code word but we didn't think." She hoped that the woman would understand, Sasha was coming from immediately betraying a bunch of psychopaths, caution was better than wasting an hour talking to a stranger than being forced to imprison when it came to light that they were really trying to kill her..

Jillian almost jumped a bit too when Sasha was surprised an knocked her coffee over. "Oh here let me help." Jillian said snatching the napkins from an empty table and helped mop up the caffine madness. A waitress took notice and came over and helped. "I need caffeine too I'll get you a new one." They reordered and awaited the coffees. "Well there is no codeword but would saying a particular friend you chated with, I do belive her name was Halo or something like that, that you wanted a change of occupation convince you i mean no harm?" She said with a smile and friendly sarcasm. Hopefully, it would put her at ease. It wasn't easy switching sides, you made enemies that way. Even now a fellow hero insisted Jillian have back up. They where quite hidden and likely not even needed.

Sasha Thompson April 11th, 12:01Sasha studied the woman for a second before giving up on the whole thing. "I suppose that'll have to do. I was hoping that you would tell me your name and then I could just see if it was on the list that Halo gave me." She motioned to the table and sat down opposite her. "So what now?" She asked, unsure how this was supposed to go. "Should I give you an overview of my powers or would you like to know why I want to join?" She felt like she shouldn't take charge but at the same time didn't want to just sit in silence in case it was some sort of test. "Well, okay, I can control lava, make it from rocks and manipulate it at will. I've begun to realise how I don't use my power very efficiently because of how lethal it is." She paused. "Sure I can make a raptor and ride it through the streets but what's the point if the people in this city are made of straw and gasoline then burst into flames if you get near." She looked into the woman's eyes and stopped talking to sigh. "I'm not very good with water and if I'm not connected to the ground I cannot make more lava and the old stuff tends to cool. Well unless I keep it moving. A constantly churning mass is defiantly the way to go." She wondered how much of this was relevant to the woman or even if she was answering the right questions to begin with.

Poor Sasha was infact nervous. "Well it only fair if give u my name as I know yours, names Jillian." She replied while not wrong, knowing sasha's power was good to know it wasnt the biggest question. "That is pretty awesome, rhough i'm sure you knew I would ask this and it sounds like the cheesiest interview question, but why are you choosing being a hero over what you where doing." The coffes came just before Sasha could respond. Assuring the waiter they where good Jillian sipped her coffee awaiting Sasha's response. The why was important. What made her switch sides?

Sasha Thompson April 11th, 12:01She had almost given up on hearing it at this point and didn't feel it was right to demand like she had with the agent. "I guess, but the fact that I don't use it efficiently is cause for concern. Don't you think?" She was being honest, it was all well and good just glossing over her power because of what it was but the fact that she had pointed out issues really should have been addressed. "No, I knew you would ask, I spoke about my powers because I wanted to delay the question." She smiled, she was honest but not to a fault, she knew how to conceal the truth if it was convenient to her. She moved back slightly as the waiter brought over her drink. She had ordered hot water as she had had enough coffee for the day and didn't want to be wired for the interview, she dipped her finger in the water to test the temperature before taking a small sip. It was scalding just as she liked it. "Well, I don't have the heart to be a villain, I set a civilian on fire the other week and I've been wracked with guilt ever since, I did some odd jobs but all the money went to paying his medical bills. He's looking to make a full recovery if your interested. I joined up with those people last week oblivious of their end goal until that moment when I punctured the truck and got to see what was inside. Imagine my surprise when I saw those pods." She took another sip of the water before continuing. "Why be a hero over taking up another career? I control lava, there must be something I can do. I'm not really suited for office work. I figured I could be your environmental disaster cleanup girl. Evaporate floods, redirect hurricanes, ease tectonic pressure, clean penguins after an oil spill. Simple stuff." She wondered if her answer was good enough or if she would need to ham up how she was caring and compassionate.

"No matter the power you can use it for good or bad. Good just takes the extra effort." Jillian said when Sasha was worried about her powers being destructive. Jillian could understand why. With practice and being careful lava power could be useful. She listened to the story of how Sasha got to this point in her life. As it turned out the truck incident was trying to get the money to write a wrong. "While there not a lot of money to be had there is the benifit being on the right side of the law and have cheering instead of booing. Though if you want to go public with being a hero there money there though insurance is a b***h to get. Its more work than villany by a long shot, would you still be interested." She said hoping Sasha would, she seemed a nice girl unconventinal but so was Jillian.

Sasha Thompson April 11th, 12:03"Oh no, I mean I make a wicked hot spring, but the moment I start whipping lava about people start burning. I suppose I could try not to hit them in the face." She stirred her water with her finger and then shrugged as she looked at Jillian. "I've paid off those medical bills, so I'm all good on that front. I got paid upfront for my work with the truck, there was going to be a bonus every time I used my powers. I think they wanted to get me used to killing but then I switched sides." She sat up straight as she felt that she was beginning to slouch and pulled her foot out of the ground to stretch it. "Being cheered does sound nice I suppose, and you don't mind that I spent some time inside? I was arrested but couldn't pay bail, I wasn't guilty. Do I get dental? I feel that should be included, also why do I have to get my own insurance, that should be provided." She took a swig of her drink and then put the cup down. "I'm not put off by work, just the idea that you'll lock me up and throw away the key the first time I set a bank robber on fire, I'm telling you, my powers are lethal against civilians. High class villains like Morgana can put up a fight but randoms who wanted to try their luck, no chance." She was being honest but was worried that it would be bad for her in the long run.
