Chapter 9: Sign Ups

Summer has once again come to Tendaji. So many new things had happened since the festivals of the summer before. The people had discovered a new set of races across the sea, and a new island to explore. In fact, just recently the Belreans announced a monthly trip to and from the mainland, opening up the area to more regular travel. Everyone in Tendaji was beginning to learn more about the technology and philosophy of the Lightning and Geian races.
However, there was something brewing below the excitement and marvel of the newest discovery. People were going missing, and it had become enough of a notice for the leaders of each race to start investigating.
At first, it was a small amount of individuals. All were adults, and there was no pattern. In fact, many assumed these adults were traveling, exploring the world, or had even run away from home. There was nothing to call for alarm, considering the world they lived in involved exploration and limited communication. So, no one batted an eye when the first, then second, then third person disappeared.
However, soon enough it became normal enough for leaders of the settlements to seek out information, only to discover others were seeing similar patterns. Leaders, concerned with such patterns, sent messengers across the borders to inform their peers, only to find out that things were happening on a seemingly global scale.
Enough was enough, and the leaders determined it was time to announce a public meeting of sorts. Similar to the great gathers of the past, the leaders sought to inform their subjects, and to also reassure them that they were working hard to not only protect their people, but to find those who had gone missing.

||. Chapter 9: Grave Expectations is gearing up! Sign-ups start Monday, June 19 and end 9:00pm (EST) Monday, July 10.
||. The Meta is scheduled to tentatively end after four weeks.
||. Following will be an event with the results of the Meta chapter.
||. For the Meta, every 7 posts may be counted towards a versatile point. You may earn as many points as you post.
||. Please limit to up to 2 posts between NPC posts (these should be spaced out by responses from others to your post, no needless posting just to get more points).
||. There will be an opportunity to post 14 times during this event, so please keep in mind that you must post twice between each NPC post in order to get 2VPs.
||. This meta starts during the meeting with the leaders: please list the area your character will be located. (Does not have to be their race's settlement, but please note that the Alkidike festival is about to occur on Chibale.) Alkidike return to Aisha every year for this festival, full-blood Alkidike are strongly encouraged to sign up for Chibale.
||. While the Meta is active, you may not start any new RPs (this includes characters not participating).
||. However, you may continue RPs that were started before the Meta starts. You are also welcome to write Solos/Journal Entries while you are participating in the Meta.
||. You may edit your sign-up information as often as needed, up until sign-up closes.
||. Remember that once Meta begins, new growths will no longer be accepted - so this is your last three weeks to get those growths in before Meta begins. Growths and character quests will be closed until the time the Meta ends.
