An old piece of architecture, but in the middle of a very large property, making it a lot safer for Raven. She also fell in love with the design, but that's beside the point. Acres of land surrounds the small castle, and there is a large pond, a horse stable, a large forest and an outdoor training ground/obstacle course on the grounds. There is also a well-kept dungeon in the basement, but there is no one in there at the moment. Raven pays some live in servants to take care of the castle and grounds and rarely sees them. She entertains guests, both clients and old friends, every once in a while, but she is also often out of the house. Her master bedroom is ridiculously large. She sometimes doesn't care for the luxury, but she's often too tired to notice the extravagance. It's very rare that anyone but her and the waitstaff sees her master bedroom. Her trust issues are too great to allow anyone inside. The occasional lover only sees one of the simpler guest rooms, is not allowed to explore and is rarely asked to stay for breakfast. She also has an extensive kitchen that has been gathering dust since she bought it (or it would be if it weren't for the maids). Raven has a small fridge in her bedroom which holds a bunch of food she doesn't have to cook, sustaining her well enough. It's one of the most under-used rooms in her house, save for the many guest rooms. The servants have their own small kitchen somewhere, but Raven refuses to eat any of the food they cook. She hired them to clean, not cook for her. She gets by fine on her own.

EvaThe Trickster Demon Eva was arriving in a black van. Unlike other slaves there wasn't a need to chain her. If she was going to vanish she would simply do so. But they did have a neat little bracelet on her. Also, spelled by an angelic being. But it had a tracking device in it. Annoying really. As per the spell she couldn't just run off and leave. Since the slaver had bought her, he was her current master as per the spell's specifications, but the marks on his face proved he'd not fared well with her. So he was eager to get rid of her. She had a talent for making trouble when she wanted to, and her tricks often cost him a lot of money. She did, however, fate much better with mistresses than she did with masters so he was hoping the most recent buyer was going to be a better situation.
"Eva, please stop tapping the window, we will be there soon." Slavers didn't usually say please. But then again, Eva wasn't a normal slave. And he had the black eye to prove it. She didn't do well with men. So he was buying himself some time till he could sell her, making the transaction official, then move on. Now, she was a powerful thing, and pretty, but her tricks were driving him mad! Plus he was a meat and potatoes guy so he had no use for all the random times she'd popped up in his kitchen in the middle of the night baking. He hated sweets. She'd not responded well to that. He'd not allowed her to cook, and she'd...nearly cooked him for that.
The van stopped and a guard got out, before the master did, before finally Eva did. She was dressed in a pair of black pants and a black top, her demonic wings out. She looked around, almost looking a bit bored, but her eyes were more playful than they were cruel. She was a trickster, more so than anything. They promised this one was interesting and pretty. It was enough of a temptation to get her into the car. The slaver knocked on the door a few times, hoping to get an answer. He was hoping it would be a quick process. He didn't know how long he could keep Eva's attention before she starting causing trouble. He was a weak man. Eva required a more...structured keeper. He wasn't it. Abusive didn't count. She needed a different type of keeper, a more attractive one is what she'd said...he'd been humiliated by that. Oh and by the six or seven times she'd dropped him into his own swimming pool from ten feet in the air in front of all his guests.
((Hope its okay. My next post should be a bit better.))

Raven Katil Raven paced pensively in her study, the only tower that the small castle held, revisiting the carefully laid out plan for her next target. It was a middle class man, somewhat muscular, a lot of debt and taking the odd job wherever, though Raven wasn't quite sure where he worked. She glanced at the mess around her, the target's image and schedule for the next 6 weeks scattered about and she sighed. She might have finally thought of how to corner him, and take him out. It had only taken 3 months. For a relative nobody, he certainly was secretive. She finally had him figured out, however. The sound of a van puling up the dirt driveway made her pause in her contemplation. She watched as the back opened and a beautiful woman with dark wings was escorted forward. Her delivery. Right on time. Pleased as she was with the punctuality, Raven nearly missed the bland face of the guard, but her perceptive eye caught it. She froze and stared out the window. She couldn't be so lucky... Raven glanced at the various images surrounding her. Apparently she could. The assassin looked over the three months of work she poured into this target, grabbed every piece, and threw it in the small fire burning for this exact purpose. She grinned. Raven strapped her sword to her back and grabbed one of her favorite throwing daggers, testing the balance quickly, before exiting the room and lurking in the shadows at the top of the stairs. She twirled the knife idly between her fingers and she watched one of the maids open the door cautiously. Was her name Sarah? The assassin waited for the woman to step back, letting the trio enter, before letting the dagger loose. It flew with needle-like precision, impaling itself deep within the guard's chest. She smirked as the trio of those alive glanced up and she slid down the banister. Raven tossed the slaver a small case of money and simply raised an eyebrow, daring someone to speak. "Hello"((I'm reusing some old text I have for Raven, just because I like the way it sets up her character. Hope that's alright))

EvaThe Trickster Demon The demoness watched the throwing star make impact, without a second blink. She was actually quite pleased. She bit her lower lip and smiled. She looked at the old master and put her hand on her hips. "See. Look on how much fun you miss out on." She walked over and pulled the star out, taking it to the woman before going back to the dead body tilting her head to look over at it. She liked dead things. The man was mortified, however. Disgusted. He took the money, the deal made. He grimiced. "Fu***** demoness. Crazy as he**. She's your problem now." he practically ran out of the house. When Eva looked up she simply waved goodbye. "Well he was boring anyway. " She tilted her head up from the dead body to look at the maid then at Raven. The woman was beautiful and she was pleased. About time I had a female master again. So much prettier to look at.
She took a step forward. "I'm Eva. Nice throw. Can I eat him?" He learned a long time ago to ask first, because some humans got sick at the sight of it, and human puke smell was just...gross. So better to ask. But yeah, she was still a demon. Cute hair and eyes aside. Demon. They had their ...quirks. But she also liked cake. "Oh, though he probably wouldn't taste nearly as nice as a lemon bunt cake." She literally was totally chill with the dead person just...laying there on the ground. So yeah, assassin and the demon. Totally chill with dead things. At least she wasn't a screamer.
There was a reason people sold her. She was crazy. She played tricks, often not to the advantage of those who owned her, but it was all about incentive and keeping her entertained. The problem was that people never gave her enough to do, to keep her occupied. They didnt let her go play. She was a demoness with a lot of energy and power. If that wasn't being used in one way it had to be used in another. If she couldn't go out and hunt and kill things, what did they expect her to do? She might look cute and cuddly, but she was very dangerous. Oh, except for when she made cookies. Cookies and brownies and lemon pies...yum yum yum.
((Totally fine with me. I hope she doesn't bounce around too much.))

Raven Katil Raven rolled her eyes, exasperated, at the slaver's actions. So much for tough, fearsome guards. Cowardice was something she hated. A person without a backbone would never succeed in life. She glanced down at the corpse, which was already starting to become stiff with death, and turned to the maid standing calmly beside her. "Sarah, would you go get Gallu? I'll need her to clean up.""Of course, Ms. Katil."The assassin then turned to her overly excited slave, somewhat amused, although she hid it with the ease of years of training. There was no denying that the woman before her was beautiful, as well as dangerous. Raven's actions, however seemed to have garnered at least some respect from the demon, which she appreicated. Someone who could respect a clean, swift kill was someone Raven respected in turn, regardless of their perticulars. She raised a single eyebrow and accepted the dagger back. "Eat him? I suppose if that's how you gain sustance. I do believe Gallu will not mind having less to clean." The entrance of Gallu pulled her from her musings. Unlike the other maids, who wore traditional outfits, Gallu was adorned with a simple black tee-shirt and a pair of black leather pants. The woman raised an eyebrow when she noticed the body on the floor and shook her head. "Another, Raven? You couldn't have done it while he was still outside and I could hose the blood away? I expect a pay raise for this."The assassin snorted, used to Gallu's attitude by now. "You say that every time, but when I offer you one, you practically ignore me. Also, don't throw out the body as usual. It seems a new... guest has some interesting tastes in meat" Gallu rolled her eyes, nodded and, with a couple Latin chants, the dead man and the pool of his blood lifted off the ground and floated behind her as she walked away. Raven turned back to the woman before her. "Right, Gallu will most likely bring him to the kitchen. No one else really goes in there except to clean, so you'll have free range to do what you like with him and anything else you can find in there. I just ask that you don't feed anyone else any of the meat you butcher, the rest of us are humans and I would rather not have to send anyone to the hospital for food poisoning. Now that that is all taken care of, I can actually introduce myself. My name is Raven Katil, as I'm sure you must have gathered. I don't care much what you call me, so long as it is respectful, and not my first name. The two women you just saw were Sarah and Gallu, maids under my employment. There are a handful of others that take care of the property, cleaning and maintaining things. You'll hardly ever see them, but if you do run into them, I ask that you treat them with respect. In return they will do the same for you. ""Shall I show you around?"

EvaThe Trickster Demon She smiled. "I don't play tricks on girls. " As if that somehow answered everything. She then fished the key out of her pocket tossing it to Raven. As part of the spell she wasn't allowed to keep her own key. It was for the bracelet slash tracking device. But she shrugged as if it wasn't a big deal. She had wings and she could teleport. So whatever. It did mean she could go to Paris if she wanted. "Oh good, I can use the kitchen? I like to cook. But..yes. Humans get sick eating human, I think I remember that. I will not feed you human then. But you eat sweets? None of the others did. I found it boring and sad." And they paid the price for it. Demons did not like to be insulted. And she loved to bake. Just once for someone to actually like her cooking or want to eat her food? She would be beyond delighted! She moved about with a smile. "Yes, I would like to see. It is easier to teleport if you call, if I have seen things first." She could do it without seeing the location, but it was harder. Technicalities.
She was completely unashamed of her peculiar nature. Just as she was unashamed of her tendencies towards the flesh of women versus the flesh of men. She'd enjoyed both over her years, but recently she had developed a preference. But as a demon she had eternity to make choices and have favorites. "Do you normally kill things when they enter your house?" She asked.

Raven Katil She caught the key with ease and tucked it away into her leather top, with a mental not to have one of the maids add a pocket on her gaunlet to keep it in. This woman, demon, however she liked to be called was certainly going to make life a little more interesting, which is saying a lot for an assassin. She had the potential of becoming an expert partner in her work, if only she could earn her loyalty. Raven would prefer to have Eva loyal to her, not just because of a spell, but because she wanted to be. Something of a tall order for a slave, but she had confidence in herself and her charisma. There's a reason she was as good as she was at her job. It would take earning her respect first and a lot of training in the Arts she had already mastered, but she was excited about the challenge. She would almost certainly put up a good fight and she loved nothing better than an intelligent sparring partner. Eva already had some of the natural talents necessary for her line of work, observation and quick thinking a must. As the smaller girl flitted around, rambling, Raven shivered almost imperceptibly. She was rarely affected by women, as she prided herself by having near complete control of her emotions, but there was something about her energy that made her tight grasp loosen. Or perhaps it was just Eva as a whole. The attractive woman reminded her of the way He had affected her. Her long scar, hidden beneath her clothes twinged slightly at the reminder. The assassin shook her head and pulled herself back to the present. She would have to be careful with this girl. "Lovely. Now, I'll show you around. As you might have noticed, the Katil Estate was once a small castle. Though we remodeled the furniture and whatnot, it would have been extremely difficult to wire electricity through the stone, so I didn't bother to do so. It has never really made life all that difficult. I never use computers; it would leave my plans far too open for the world, if someone had half the mind to try and hack it. You'll notice that the air is comfortable, despite the summer heat outside. Luckily, with Gallu's powers, she is able to maintain this temperature throughout the seasons. She was a client some years back, and didn't truly have the means to pay me, so I suggested she work for me. Best deal I ever made." Raven began to lead her up the stairs before them. "Now, where was I? Oh, yes. I was about to tell you about our interesting lighting system." The female assassin led the winged demon through her home, explaining how she did work for a biologist who set up various spheres of glow worms around the property, which the maids maintained. She kept her back to the demon, glancing over her shoulder every once and a while when she shared an interesting fact about the small castle, confident in her skills that she would be able to take her down if she put one foot out of line, whether it be in attack or flight. Though, she doubted Eva was looking to do anything, as she seemed entertained. "As for sweets, I'm not a huge fan, but I do endulge in mildly sweet confections at times. I do love spicy food, however, so if you think you can somehow work chiles or spice into something, I most certainly will consume it. After I ask someone else to taste it first, of course. I do have to be careful in my line of work, never know when someone will make another attempt on my life. I've made a few enemies, as I'm sure you can understand."

EvaThe Trickster Demon Oh that caught her immediate attention. A challenge! As a demoness she found the idea of a challenge invigorating. "I accept." She would create the best spicy food ever! She was most determined now. But also, there was the issue of enemies. "Oh!" She cried out merrily. "I have had a few curses i haven't gotten to use in years~! Humans....you can all be so very fickle. Don't dissolve his skin...don't make him rot, don't blind him...don't turn him into stone. So very fickle. An enemy is an enemy. Dead is dead. Why not have a bit of fun with it." She shrugged, snapping her fingers as a lollipop appeared in her fingers. Gosh, there was probably a high chance she might have taken that from someone. But there was no way to prove it. She put the sucker in her mouth and shrugged. Teleportation magic was a trademark for demons.
"Ech. Human technology is dull. It takes all the fun out of it. The fun stuff is doing the stalking, the hunting. The thrill of the catch. The...internet? Yes, that is what they call it? It simply does it for you, but it leaves so many marks of trace. Not like you can if you do not use it. You must be invisible. Idiots." She had no respect for modern technology. It was idiotic and she did not like it. But she did like the efficiency of toasters. But she could make them work with her magic. But she liked old fashioned ovens. Cooking over open fires, all of that. She was a big fan of all that type of stuff. She favored it, actually.
She found her new mistress to be very pretty, and she did appreciate her death like aroma. It was intoxicating, and the demoness appreciated the sweet scent of it. It was like a great perfume. One she would gladly bottle to sell. "I served a pie made with human blood once, but the King of England did not thank me for it. Tried to hang me...but he seemed to neglect to realize that Demons don't die from such things. " She shrugged. She'd given his entire castle the plague as a punishment. Oh, but not the regular plague. She made them all speak like frogs for a month. The King nearly had wars declared on him from every major kingdom and noble house around! they all thought he was insulting him! It was great, and pretty funny to watch.
