So a while ago my friend asked this; I was just wondering if there was an ETA on the completion of converting the real life merch tickets into gift vouchers for Genkimix? Last we heard about it was over a month ago in ATS when Zero said it should take a couple of weeks, and I'm just starting to get worried the one thing I want to use my voucher on will be sold out by the time this ends up happening as it's old stock ><

Yes I'm sorry. @_@ It's been incredibly busy in the office so we're trying to get to these. I am happy to report that we have started getting back to a few e-mails this week and we hope to ramp that up so we can make sure to get all that merch sent out to you guys (also because I want to clean out the storage room where we have everything because it's a death trap in there gonk ). I appreciate the patience and please know that when they get sent out you guys will be getting something very nice as an apology for the long wait.

As far as my own experience with this issue goes, it happens when the first symbol is a Coin. Not sure if it can be triggered by something else.

While inflation is a huge problem on the site I don't really think you realize that we have another issue at hand... There are tons of items with very little to no listings available. Most of the items on my wishlist have only two or three listings and they're inflated to a crazy price, I also have a bunch that have zero listings. I think you need to make a thread so we can actully tell you what items are in short supply so you can fix it. We need more re-releases that aren't monthly collectibles or brand new recolors. Would you be willing to work with us so you can get a better idea of what is needed to be re-released?

We do have the Rococo thread to request item re-releases! Unfortunately, in a lot of the cases it's that we can't re-release them because they were exclusive when originally released. If you have specific items in mind, you are more than welcome to post them in that thread and we'll see what we can do!
I've posted in there with other accounts and none of my suggestions ever get listened to. The lack of staff replying in there also tells me that you aren't really paying attention to what's being posted because if you were we wouldn't have thousands of items in such short supply. sweatdrop

It's just a matter of how much time I can dedicate to updating, and I don't always have time to reply to comments, I'm afraid sweatdrop But again, if there are specific items you'd like to see re-released, please continue to comment there with them. That is the easiest way for me to see them and keep them in mind!

Could you guys consider another re-release thread for old rig items that don't cost a lot? Like not cash shop related LQIs and such. I think that'd be a neat idea to get other rig items in circulation again.

Can you guys see who has voted what on threads? Like say for instance, someone was pissed at you and they gathered their friends and followed your threads to downvote the hell out of them. And you thought as much and filed a report for it or something. Would there be a way for you guys(mods and such) to view who has voted up or down on whatever thread in question?
And I know that to avoid that you could just turn off voting, or if you think people are picking on you add them to your ignore list, but a, everyone should be able to enjoy the voting feature and not feel personally picked on, and b, they could always make mule accounts or have their friends join in on the hate(it has happened to me once or twice so i does happen).

Unfortunately mods/admins can't actually see who has voted on threads, devs might store that data (possibly, no guarantee) but we don't have a way to do so.

As a role play owner, if someone joins your role play do they have to follow your rules? For example, if you have a rule that says no abuse of any kind and there was something about a character's backstory, like they added rape or abuse of some kind to the backstory, and you asked them to change it. They would have to do it or you have every right to ban them, yes? Even if what they did may or may not be against the TOS?

Good question, one we see some people get confused on.
As a thread owner, you can make whatever rules for your thread you want (barring they don't violate Gaia's rules or TOS). If someone comes in and violates your thread rules, you have full authority to block/ignore them so that they can't post in your thread anymore (I suppose you could theoretically temporarily "ban" them by adding them to your ignore list and removing them after a few days).
However, just cause someone violates your thread rules doesn't mean they've violated a Gaia rule and can be reported for it. If a user violates your thread rule, they don't necessarily have any obligation to change what you ask them, but you can ignore them.

Alchemy started the craze years ago and has a dedicated fan base but the components were never easy to obtain, especially when some key site features were sadly broken for quite a while. Then came GoFusion, which used charms that you could get for gold, cash, or around the site during special events. Then Alchemy came back with new recipes and even ticket recipes. We were even told that a golden fragment recipe was in the works to help make it a bit easier to gather the obscene amount of fragments needed for each ticket recipe. Now since the changing of higher management I'm wondering what's going to happen to these features? I'm just genuinely curious as to what's going to happen with these features. I'm sure they aren't high on list of priorities right now so if there are no plans I get it.

We've been slowly addressing different problems as they come up. Pepper Tea is usually pretty good at catching individual issues, and being able to move items onto other places for grant. If there are any specific items you're concerned about, please let us know.

In regards to the TOS and Role Playing guidelines, you can't role play out abuse and sex and stuff. That is all very clear. But even so much as having abuse in a characters backstory in their profile is against the TOS/Guidelines, even if not actively taking place in the role play, correct?

It honestly depends on what exactly is being said in the character profile. We allow for dark themes, but they can't be mentioned in detail. For example, a character's profile might be:
The character had been physically and emotionally abused as a child by her family, and this has shaped how she deals with certain situations. When seeing a young child get bullied, she gets filled with rage and will stand forward to protect the child against all harm.
Then it would be allowed because while the history is dark, it doesn't get into any explicit detail that would cross a line. Of course, I will mention that such things are completely open to interpretation and context, so while I've given you example, make sure to tread carefully with dark stories as you may end up getting reported anyway and we may have to take action if we find that it does cross a line.

Through the years we've had a lot of flash games for various site events. Some were really fun, I happened to love the rejected olympic games and the bunny ranger games. Instead of creating a bunch of new games when the company is more stable can you look into putting up the old event games instead? It's a shame that they're going to waste, it might save on resources to recycle the old games anyway. I would really like to see some of the site history come back, it would give us a lot more to do. I'm burnt out on the other flash games that are currently up. emotion_8c

Too late. I've already made a bunch of new games. One of which is an old event game, but I made it in html5 so we can use it on mobile.

I was told that you were going to look into a report avatar function for runway because of this, any update on that? A direct report system no, I did add the ability for "live" moderation of contests so Admins and mods can see and remove entries in a running contest. I do plan to go back and add in a reporting system for you guys.

We would absolutely love to add more moderators, we've just been incredibly busy and we have a small team as it is that once we get something new we have to do, other things have to re-prioritized and pushed back. We definitely want new mods (and I get poked by mods on the team about it constantly, so I know how badly they all want it).

While we're not removing the possibility of them coming back from time to time, the reality is that tiers did cost the company a lot of money to make. sweatdrop There is still the possibility that we'll bring them back from time to time, but I wouldn't necessarily count on them, outside of any Project Diamond Ticket tiers. Any possibility of having a "mass-buy" option for Alchemy Formulas? It's tiring having to constantly buy 1 Formula at a time. Even better if it was available for every Gold Shop Item.
The only Shop Items I know that allows you to buy multiples are the Bait from The Ole Fishing Hole & the Tokens from Prize & Joy(which, by the way, is far too low; we can only buy 100 at a time when we can buy a LOT more with the current inflation).
Any possibility of having a "mass-buy" option for Alchemy Formulas? It's tiring having to constantly buy 1 Formula at a time. Even better if it was available for every Gold Shop Item.
The only Shop Items I know that allows you to buy multiples are the Bait from The Ole Fishing Hole & the Tokens from Prize & Joy(which, by the way, is far too low; we can only buy 100 at a time when we can buy a LOT more with the current inflation).
We'll have a shopping cart in time. Surprised me that we still haven't got this type of a feature yet.

Any plans to update the gold grant for the following: first comment on a profile (a day), first journal post (a day), first vote in a poll (a day), first post (a day), to match or at least be somewhat more consistent with the current economy? Because all of those still grant incredibly low.

There is already a chat.
Just a thought. When you upgrade it to HTML5 do you think you could integrate it into the site's footer - the one from the account settings page? That way it follows the user around and is easily accessible. Optionally make the footer mandatory so that everyone has quick access to it and knows it exists, but allow users to "sign out" of the chat - kind of like how Meebo use to work and/or how FB's chat works.
That idea has crossed my mind.

Maybe it's just me, but the Equipped List issue never did appear to be fixed after earlier this month or whenever it was (other-Aki's is still showing up as hidden, even though she has it set to public). Could this perhaps be looked into again, please and thank you? <3

Would it be possible to increase the character limit in posts just for the guides forum?
I'm finding (and im 100% other guide makers as well) that I hit post limit often with so many new items coming in and my god I have to reserve so many posts

Hmm, that might be tough, for the database does have a character limit. No promises on whether I can change it or not.

That's exactly true. In any economy, real or virtual, there will be a wealth gap. It's something we can't eliminate, but there are things we can do to lessen the disparity.
