What are their powers if they have any?
Matter Absorption: Will has the ability to absorb a substance such as metal, rubber, or rock (to name a few) and manipulate it into various different combinations such as offensive and defensive methods. Offensively, he is able to form sharp and or blunt weaponry from his hands. Defensively, Will has shown that he can make the very basics of at least a shield and or guard for himself. Depending on the material, he gains it's strengths and it's weaknesses, ex: Enhanced Strength and Enhanced Durability.

                What are their weaknesses?
-Will must be in contact with the substance to absorb it.
-Will can't absorb more than two materials at one time, typically one material for each side of his body (whether that be his left and right hand or the entirety).
-By absorbing the specific material, he gains it's specific weaknesses, such as if he were to absorb wood, he would be more susceptible to fire than other materials. If he were to be submerged in water prior to absorbing a heavy metal, he adopts the density of the material and would sink.
-He needs concentration to be rid of the material he's absorbed.

                How do they act?
Will is generally viewed as the type to not always think before he says something. His traits also include being optimistic, daring, sarcastic, and willing to go places some people may not for things like information. He believes that those working for the light and even those in the dark need to know a thing or two and he confidently makes it known that he is the guy they want to go to for a cheap price.

Despite the fact that he supplies both hero and villain alike with information they may need, he has his limits as to who he'll help depending on their reasons. Usually they can't be too drastic or too little that it wouldn't be worth much for both Will and the one receiving information.

                What's their backstory?
Will's childhood wasn't much, nothing he really wanted to remember. He moved homes a lot with his family when his father was constantly on the move with his ever so demanding job. The Freeman's could never truly settle down in one place until soon after Will's fifteenth birthday, his mother was a victim to a brutal shootout on the way back home. Both Will and his father took the tragedy hard and coped with it in different ways. His father worked harder than ever to support Will as he was now a single parent but this also meant he never really had time for a one on one personal connection with his son after his mother's death.

While Will's father considered his long hours spent at work a good thing and a service to his son, Will was beginning to feel the opposite of what was intended; that his father was neglecting him to get away from the truth that his mother was dead. Being alone and having to deal with the grief forced Will to become one hundred percent independent sooner than he needed to. He learned his way on the streets, to not feel as alone in the way that he did and in the way that his father was too blind to assist with.

Will learned a thing or two about acquiring information that would be valuable to people who needed to know something they didn't already. Whether that be through his witty charisma or stealthy maneuvers; he was the man you wanted to go to when you needed to know something important. There was one night in particular that Will would never forget involving his neighbor and her missing sister. He realized how troubling the situation was to the woman with her sister absent and agreed to deliver whatever he could find free of charge. Over the course of several days, Will stumbled upon his own lead that led him to a large run-down apartment which was commonly known for on and off small time drug operations. Will did his best to stay out of sight, knowing he couldn't persuade the men inside with sweet words and a smile but it all proved futile as he was soon seen by a series of cameras positioned all around the building. Those within vicinity gave chase for the intruder, prompting Will to make his attempted escape. Eventually he was backed into a corner with no way out. In an act of desperation, he gripped an exposed steel pipe from behind him. He didn't notice it at first but soon his entire body was coated with the metal he grabbed from top to bottom. His attackers threw the first few blows, injuring themselves in the process against Will's newly hardened exterior. It didn't take Will long to realize what had happened to him, even if he didn't understand it.

He hit harder than usual, noticing how they went down easier than they would have his hands hadn't been coated in metal. The more he put down, the more swarmed in to try and put him down themselves. With newfound strength and durability, he plowed through the men that opposed him and his way out. He had spent years upon years as someone who supplied people with whatever they needed to hear as The Informant. He knew things that people weren't supposed to know and for the right price, he'd pass it on. Questions would arise on how this secret individual knew such things and who exactly was his source. No one knew that Will was his own supplier, going from gang hideouts to drug deals, anywhere that had the potential for supplying him with the answers that people would need. Through this, Will also gained the name Crackdown. Two sides of the same coin but no one knew that they were one in the same. Will liked it that way and would keep it that way for as long as he possibly could. He had his rules but as long as he made a profit, he would continue and do as he pleased.

Anything else we need to know?
-Will has met big time heroes and villains through his work.
-Will owns a penthouse in the upper part of Chicago, far off from where he conducts his business.
-Very few people know that Will is The Informant or Crackdown and even fewer know that they're one in the same.
