- Drake's ability allows him to create and manipulate electricity. This power allows him to charge objects with electricity, heat, and or make them conduct electricity. Drake finds "unique" ways to use his powers, mostly in evasive situations. He's developed a way to climb to surfaces with a static cling. To his knowledge, the smallest thing Drake can do is power electrical devices by recharging the battery.
➳ What are their weaknesses?
- Drake's power, if used too much can cause him to become weary. His powers won't work if too much is used in rapid succession which requires him to absorb a substantial amount of electricity. Drake is useless against silicate and rubber. Exposed to too much water at one time can negate his ability.
➳ How do they act?
- He strives to stay positive. When his powers first manifested, he considered himself dangerous. Keeping calm became harder and harder with each day that passed and he didn't understand. If under pressure, he doesn't show it. Drake has shown to work better around groups of people, he prefers social interaction over isolation. He tends to act awfully sarcastic although he considers this apart of his sense of humor. Drake finds being blunt to be more effective and will normally speak his mind.

- What better way to spark up your life than to find out you're housing enough electrical energy to power a city? From zero to hero, Drake Cole's life turned into something he couldn't imagine. To doing the possible and ending up doing the impossible. For so long he had felt as if life around him was nothing but shortcomings with nothing to look forward to. Two weeks after he turned eighteen, Drake, walking home from a dead end job was almost a victim of a lethal mugging. With nothing but the clothes on his back, what he could he do against a firearm? His drive to survive brought out something in him, literally. His immediate reaction to a gun across from him was to throw is hands over his face. Expecting an immense surge of pain, all he heard was a smack against concrete. With his own eyes, he saw the surge of energy make contact with the attacker.
His first thought was fear. Fear of himself and what he could do. It didn't take him long to quickly get over it to figure out just what this all meant for him. For months, he practiced with this ability. His first feat, a recording of him sticking to a hard surface with a static cling. It dawned upon him that just keeping this to himself and living his life was a bad option, and a boring one at that. Inspired by the night of his own attempted mugging (along with a string of recent crimes), Drake set out to assist in making the city he called home a better place. In his five years under the name High Voltage, he's faced other lower level criminals, and recently the overwhelming sense of decline in the hero community. With many challenges he's faced, seemingly more along the way, nothing has stopped him from seeing it through to the end no matter what.
