- ➳ What's their alias?
- Mr. Fraus
➳ How old are they?
- 43
➳ Are they male or female?
- Male
➳ Are they human or a super?
- Superhuman
➳ What's their preference?
- Heterosexual
➳ What are their powers if they have any?
- Illusion Manipulation: User can create, shape and manipulate illusions, causing targets to see, hear, touch, smell and/or taste things which do not actually exist or cause them to perceive things differently from what they truly are. Michael's illusions are strong enough to convince even the best of minds that they are real. He has killed with illusions before and he has driven others mad. The illusions cause pain and death by thoroughly tricking the target's mind into believing it is real. When the mind believes it is dead, the body follows. Michael also has the ability to perceive the five senses through his illusions but it is always a gamble. He would perceive pain as well.
Intuitive Aptitude: A built-in safety. Michael's mind is advanced enough to understand the deepest inter workings of most things within hours. This ability prevents him from being tricked by one of his own illusions and the illusions of others. It as a dormant and much more passive power than his primary ability.
➳ What are their weaknesses?
- Michael's illusions are not sentient. If Michael created a double of himself, a telepath would be able to figure out that it was not real because they would not be able to read it's thoughts.
➳ How do they act?
- Michael is calm and composed most of the time but there is clearly a madness lurking beneath his facade. He presents himself well and politely but when he is pressed the madness seeps into view. He gets what he wants and removes the things that get in his way because he does not know how to lose.
➳ What's their backstory?
- Michael was born as the son of a supervillain from the Glory Days. His father made a name for himself as The Trickster. The Trickster was a madman. His actions and motives rarely made any sense. One day he could help a villain fake their death or escape a prison and the next he would kill them slowly. Michael himself was an accident. His father, Arlo, raped a woman without consideration of the consequences. Nine months later, Michael was born. His childhood didn't turn him into the man he is today. Every day was a struggle for him, wanting thing that were just beyond his reach. He was all his mother had after her parents threw her out for keeping him and she was all he had. One day, his mother died. She had starved to death in the streets. That was the day the monster was born. Ambition, the pride that never ended. The curse that turned him into a villain. He swore he would never suffer in the streets again and when he realized he had his father's abilities, he never had to. The first step in his rise was helping the Glory Days heroes bring his father down. He presented himself as a young hero who could see through the illusions and with Michael's aid, his father was arrested and is still imprisoned today.
The hero work only lasted two years. Michael was fighting an uphill battle and being a hero didn't pay well enough when you had to compete with the greats like Olympia and Silent Knight. He was still young at the time and so he was impatient. He turned to petty crimes. Robberies, heists, that sort of thing. Much to his dismay, people began calling him The Trickster. It was a legacy he never wanted, to be compared to his father a madman... it insulted him. His ambition grew and he made a name for himself. Mister Fraus, a name that Michael found endlessly clever. The years passed by and Mr. Fraus rose to infamy, finally escaping the shadow of the Trickster by ruthlessly removing any opposition. However Michael knew that if he continued to act singularly as a criminal, someone would be able to stop him eventually. So he began to invest his money. He bought out companies using money he had obtained through his smuggling, embezzling, fencing, extorting, heisting, and money laundering. Progressively he bought more and more companies which allowed him to launder more and more money until he tried a little insider trading to top it off. None of which can be proven. Four years ago he removed himself from the criminal world to focus on his company. That helped improve Michael's mental status a great deal.
These days Michael runs Forester Enterprises (a conglomerate of Forester Construction, Forester Electronics, Forester Foods, Forester Shipping, Forester Steel, Forester Automotive, Forester Airlines, Forester Chemicals, Forester Industries, Forester Mining, Forester Manufacturing, and Forester Research Institute). Everything he has was built on the back of crime and fowl play, but he has worked hard to ensure no one knows. He kills or manipulates everyone who seeks to destroy him. Yet to the public, Michael Forester is a billionaire, business magnate, and philanthropist.
