"Sssooo... am I the only one here? Like, am I the first one to get ready? Huh. That's a first."
Oooohhhh... I can't wait to see how they all look! You're hopeless. Uh-huh... and you're not? You're just as eager to see a bunch of half naked mages as I am! Rosa blushed lightly and shifted her weight onto her left foot uncomfortably. ...this proves nothing.
She turned on her heels slightly to look around. No one else in sight. It might be a lllllllooooooonnnnnnnng wait.
"I can't believe you talked me into this." Kaya muttered under her breath. "Aw you'll have fun! It's not like this happens often." Her dark-haired Exceed smiled at her. It had taken some doing to convince the Water Dragon Slayer to take part in the swimsuit competition. He didn't understand her reluctance in it. It certainly wasn't do to embarrassment or shame because Kaya had absolutely neither of those. "It's just not my thing. Now if we could fight in our swimsuits...that'd be something I could get behind.""Of course you would." Kokuei rolled his eyes and shook his head. The duo made their way through the slowly gathering crowd. It wouldn't be long before things got underway. "Come on. The backstage area is this way." He pointed in the direction of a sign that read "Swimsuit contest backstage entrance. Competitors only."
"And what about you?" Kaya stopped in front of the entrance, turning to look at her Exceed partner. "I'll be with Luna and the others. Go on. You'll have fun! Just think of it as a different form of fighting." He gestured her forward with his paw before flying away to find where his fellow Exceed and a few of the other Fairy Tail members were standing. The teenager blew out a breath as she watched his retreating form. I'm going to get you back for this someday, Ko. That thought in mind, she pushed open the door and stepped inside the changing area for the competition. Another girl was already there though Kaya didn't recognize her. "Hi." She waved a greeting as she started peeling off her typical clothing. Underneath was revealed a basic black tank-kini with a patterned stitching near the top. "Sooo we just wait around back here?"

Offensively, the orb allows Kaya to produce many sharp whips of water that can be directed towards and impale multiple targets. Hailey would make her way to the back of the stage, she watched as a female entered in while her Exceed stayed outside, letting out a sigh she would continue her walk to the door as she pushed it open "I'm sure you can start walking out on stage whenever you want to show off you modeling ability. Seeing as there are already people here from Sorcerer Monthly, it would seem to be a free for all to grab the cameras attention." Hailey would butt into the conversation as she placed one hand on her hip, holding the door open as she talked. Walking fully into the roofless room it was clear that the stage and the waiting area was build as a temporary structure. The sun would beam down into the room what the three females stood in. The cooling breeze of the water was blocked off by the walls causing the roofless room to feel hotter than the rest of the area. "I'm Hailey." She introduced herself, her tone was a clear sign that she wasn't a warm and welcoming person despite her looks, her arms folded under her chest as she found a place to stand away from the door. Hailey wasn't here to make friends, in fact she was only here because of the rumor of money being involved if Sorcerer Monthly liked what someone was offering. Hailey would much rather have been with her friend Kawa talking about book and reading than being out here and socializing. People weren't really Hailey's cup of tea but if the money meant she could potentially buy another book then she would partake in the event.
Hailey fanned herself with some folded paper as she watched the two other females, her black swimsuit only adding to her discomfort attracting light to her making her feel even more hot. The ice blue crystals on her swimsuit would sparkle along with he small sprinkles of similar cristals that were well attached to the netting attacked to her swimsuit. Although her long, thick, and curly hair covered it the back was well decorated with ice colored crystals as well; her top would have a line of them going down as if they were sparkly buttons to a very fashionable clothing piece. The bottom only had the crystals on the skirt like par and on the hip, all together the whole set complimented Hailey's curvy body as she would stand there and wait. The net on the top part of her suit and the choker connected to it looked to be the only thing really holding the top together, the rest just covered what needed to be covered. Her heterochromatic eyes would look just watch the two, and would also look for any new people entering. She didn't have many friends so she didn't expect to see anyone she was familiar with, maybe a few people from her guild would show up but for the most part Hailey only talked to two people often; her distant behavior making it clear that she wasn't the friendly type... at least not right away. If the two other girls wanted to speak to her then she would be kind enough to keep talking to them but for the most part she would just rather read a good book.

Reluctance, displeasure, and annoyance. The first girl did not want to be here very much, at first glance. But digging a bit deeper, Rosa felt a determination in her pose. Something unbreaking. Yes... the girl with the long black hair felt like she had an inner strength to match the best of them. Rosa closed her eyes and exhaled, then nodded and tilted her head to the girl who greeted her. "Hello, pleasure to meet you! I gue-" The young redhead stopped mid sentence at the approach of the third woman.
Confidence, a displeasure with being here... but a desire to further her wealth. Yes, this woman would be a handful. And the sense of keeping people away? Perhaps some hint of disdain for people in general? No, Rosa finally touched: an introvert, not unlike herself at times. "O-oh... she would know better than me. And hello, my name is Rosa. Pleased to meet you. So... ummm... why are you two here?"
She opened her eyes finally, but kept her gaze in the middle distance, or at the bridge of their noses. It would be one hell of a bad day if she entered into a Soulgaze during this contest.

Kaya glanced over her shoulder at the new woman. "So we just...go out there?" The Dragon Slayer murmured under her breath. Kokuei hadn't been very informative about the competition other than the time and place to be. Gah! I suck at these things! At C-rank, the stream can render an opponent or object immovable. At B-rank, Kaya focuses the stream more which increases its power enough to crush medium-sized objects. At A-rank, the technique is able to pierce though extremely thick rock and crush larger materials. "What else do you do in a contest about swimsuits? You show yourself off. Whatever you think will grab the most attention." Hailey would sigh as she talked, her voice not holding much emotion; conversation were not her strong point she would often come off rude or uncaring though that wasn't always the case. She cared for people and cared about people's problems it was just that she never really was able to learn the proper way of holding conversations casually. Hailey would listen to the two younger females talk as her heterochromatic eyes would watch their movements, the red head introducing herself as Rosa before following up with a question on their reasons here. Hailey would wait for the other female to answer first, the two seemed to be very different in personalities as one seemed more talkative and questioning. "It's a pleasure, Kaya, Rosa. Ko is the cat hanging outside, your... eh exceed right?" Sabertooth had a few slayers of it's own which also had exceeds so the question was more for confirmation than out of curiosity. Hailey would then turn her attention back to the red headed girl "I'm only here for the possibility of money. I have a few rare books I want to buy along with some stock I have yet to get for my next endeavor." Hailey would sigh at the thought, her hobby was expensive and finding new spell books even more so. Placing a hand on her hip Hailey would gaze over the two other girl "It's good that we're not fighting. It's more fair this way. If it was a fight and any guild masters showed up then it could just be a single person dominating over others. Besides. You can't always expect to accomplish everything solely by fighting." She would speak, her voice still holding very little emotion as she spoke. It wasn't even five seconds after she finished her sentence that the door swung open with another female standing in it, something about that girl made Hailey feel uneasy.
Lily burst into the room, swinging the door wide open and accidentally slamming it into the wall, "Oh, oopsy~ My bad!" Lily would smile sweetly at all three woman who stood in the room "Rosa! You're here! I was wondering if you would show up!" Lily would chime as she skipped over to her guild mate, "It's such a wonderful day! I hope we can all get along and play fairly~" Lily would sing in her sweet and innocent tone. She wasn't excited for anything more than to possibly have more victims when it came to her baked goods, though she had to leave them someplace safe so no one would get into the drug tainted cookies. "Oh my, oh my!" Lily would turn to the curly-haired woman who stood at a distance from the others "Why, isn't it the 5th saint! I thought someone of your importance or power wouldn't even bother wasting their time here! You must have some astonishing reason why! It must be nice being in a position that you don't have to do much, I'm sure you're going get a decent place with your looks." Lily would act all friendly and shocked by Hailey's appearance at the competition, making discreetly rude comments to the purple-haired woman. Lily's golden eyes would meet with Hailey's silver and gold eyes, giving her a sugary sweet smile as she would continue to act all sweet and innocent. For those in her guild it was clear that this was only an act, but those who did not know Lily and her actions, it would seem as if the woman was naturally sweet.
The swimsuit Lily wore would make anyone blush, she was obviously here to win; she even finished it off with a matching lace headband. Her swimsuit looked more like lingerie, even the wrap would only add to the outfit. Her pear pale skin only ended up enhancing her features against the black, red and white of her swimsuit; her raven hair was let fully down to relieve it's along most floor length condition. Well taken care of and not decorated with gold and giant pearls like normal, her hair would seem almost empty with the exception of a few braid keeping it out of her face and the white lace headband that stood out from the raven hair. Lily spun around to face Rosa, giving her a close-eyed smile "Try and enjoy yourself, okay?" Lily would cheer happily for her guild mate, her intention was to get Hailey kicked out for fighting; though it wouldn't be easy to tell from her outward personality. There would be a lot of negative energy around once more people showed up or if the other two got really serious on winning the competition. Lily knew about Rosa's condition and felt like it would be a good call for her to at least hang around; if not to make sure the girl didn't accidentally do something to get her killed. The photographers could have the worse energy coming off of them, snapping pictures of the females who walked out in hopes to get the best voted girls and guys on the front cover.

And there were the competitive streaks. Hot like fire, and bitter like worcestershire sauce. It curdled her stomach and brought a rigidity to her spine she hadn't been expecting. The two women before her were strong: Stronger than her by far. She had known that powerful wizards were coming here, but she had not prepped herself for their sheer determination. The first wave washed past her, and she felt herself rocking on her heels to accommodate the energy. They hadn't even begun flexing their magical might?
This is nuts... What am I even doing here?! Making money and a name for yourself? That's it! Committing ritual suicide by crowd exposure! Well... it's either about to get worse, or better. Ummm... what? Just give it a minute...
Rosa had partly missed what the others had said, but she could understand their intentions. One was here mostly against her usual tendencies. A Slayer-type mage? It would explain her iron will. And a woman looking for money for books? Kaya seemed mostly just confused, at this point. The sensation was like a dull, wavering hot spot around her. Hailey seemed unsure of herself? No... she didn't understand people? Maybe... She knew she couldn't just out and say she was an empath. People had tried to abuse her abilities before she found Broken Crown. She hadn't had the problem since. "So. It's good to know I'm not the only one not used to this. Training, huh? What kind?" She turned to Hailey with a smile. "So... books? What kind, if I can as-" And then Lily hit the door.
Waves of venomous disdain and ill intent rolled off of her guildmate in spades. It disoriented her for a moment, but she kept her feet. Though, the others would be able to easily see her swaying, light-headed moment of weakness. Her eyes clouded, her breathing hitched, and she felt her mind cloud. A moment later, she came around to Lily telling her to enjoy herself. It was the concern Lily had for her that brought Rosa back to her senses. Little did she realize she had her hand on Lily's shoulder to keep herself standing. Her head rested on the other listlessly. She spoke weakly and whispered at first. "S-sorry... mind... just... careful with your...hostility. Okay?" She smiled and chuckled a little, then pushed herself upright, but kept a hand on Lily's shoulder. She turned to the others and bowed her head apologetically. "Just... lightheaded. Hehehe..." She gave a look to Lily begging her not to tell, but the others might figure it out easily enough, if they knew enough about different kinds of magic.
"Grab attention, huh?" The Water Dragon Slayer furrowed her brows as she thought on that. There were a few different ways she could grab attention. Fighting would have been her first instinct, but that was clearly out according to Hailey. We can use magic though... The basis of an idea began to form in her mind. Before it was fully formed, however, Kaya's attention was pulled back to what the powerful woman had said. A faint smile tugged at the corner of her lips, allowing one of her elongated canines to peek through. "Yep! Kokuei has been with me for almost as long as I can remember. But he can be a pain too..."
Her sentence trailed off as she motioned to the area around her. The gesture indicated that it was solely Kokuei who held responsibility for her being there. Kaya's eyes met with Hailey's, an impish light gleaming in them. "Strong opponents are what make fighting fun though! And there's plenty to learn from a good spar." It was plain to see that the girl carried the typical Dragon Slayer tendency of enjoying a good brawl. If she were to be honest, Kokuei had only managed to convince her to join the competition by reminding her how much they still owed the Fairy Tail Guild Master for damages to the training hall. A bead of sweat formed at her temple when she recalled just how annoyed the Master had been. Heh heh...
Anything else she might have mentioned in response to Rosa's questions was soon interrupted by the abrupt arrival of a new woman. Like the others, Kaya had never seen her before. However, something about her didn't smell right to the Dragon Slayer...literally. She couldn't figure out what it was, yet decided to remain wary of her for the time being. The new woman apparently knew the red-head named Rosa and she quickly greeted her before shifting focus to Hailey. "Wait...you're a Saint?!" Kaya's eyes nearly bulged out of her head at the revelation. No wonder why her magic felt so strong! In that moment, the teenager wanted nothing more than to fight the Wizard Saint. To test her skill against the woman so that she could see where her strength lay.
Rosa's sudden wavering made her hesitate. Turning to face the girl, she noticed that had to lean on her dark-haired friend for support. "Eh? What's wrong?" Kaya's movements were swift and, before the red-head would know it, her face was pressed mere inches away from hers. Curiosity dominated the Slayer's features as she stared intently at the stricken girl. "You look like you're about to fall over..."

Description: A variation of the Death Knell spell. Kaya grabs the target and uses this connection to increase the water inside the body. The result is a potentially fatal disturbance in brain functions that results when the electrolytes in the body are pushed outside normal safe limits by overhydration- known as water intoxication, water poisoning, or dilutional hyponatremia. It takes 3 posts of direct and unbroken contact to kill an opponent, 2 posts to cause sickness and severe pain, and 1 post to cause sudden pain and vomiting of straight water. Rank: S+
✯ Water Dragon's Ripcurrent Range: 300 feet Duration: 2 posts Description: Kaya places the base of her palms together and creates a swirling vortex of water. The vortex sucks opponents into its center and utilizes pressure to prevent escape, ultimately leading to unconsciousness. The amount of time it takes for an enemy to be rendered unconscious takes approximately two minutes- which is also the maximum length of time the technique can be used unless otherwise dispelled. Although powerful, an opponent can escape by nullifying the vortex through the use of techniques more powerful than it. Rank: S

These snakes have a mind of their own, being capable of twisting and chasing targets around the battlefield. Once an opponent is ensnared, the serpent reverts to a river which sweeps the target away. The concentration of water makes the spell resilient and difficult to destroy by normal means. Additionally, Kaya can summon up to three each time she uses this spell, with the spell itself lasting until the snakes are destroyed or dispersed. Rank: S
✯ Water Dragon's Secret Art: Midnight Palm Range: 300 feet Duration: 3 posts Description: Kaya focuses water around her arms and swipes them in a circular fashion. The move generates long torrents of water that are highly destructive and powerful. Rank: S
✯ Water Dragon's Secret Art: Death Knell Range: 15 feet Duration: 3 posts for partial effect. 5 posts for full effect Description: Kaya focuses water around her right hand. Thrusting forward, she unleashes the water in the shape of a claw and latches onto her opponent. Once the connection is made it is difficult to break. Kaya is then able to draw water out of her opponent’s body until they are incapacitated…or worse. Although powerful, this spell does have its disadvantages. The most notable of these is the strain placed on her body. It has a tendency to drain her magic at a quicker rate than her other spells due to the need to maintain the connection until completion. Additionally, the spell can be broken if Kaya becomes too distracted or is knocked unconscious. Size is also a factor when initiating this spell since it is specifically tailored to a target's original size. Thus, if an opponent were to shrink or expand, then the connection would be broken. To partially remove water from the body, incapacitating the target, takes 3 posts. To fully remove water, ultimately causing death, takes 5 posts. She supplements the rain with a set amount of her magic reserves, essentially transferring it to her friends, giving her the ability to renew or boost their magic power. Although the amount of magic put into the technique can vary, individuals affected will only experience an increase in power proportional to the amount input. For example, if Kaya provides magic power equivalent to that of a B-rank maneuver then the other mages’ spells will garner a B-rank increase in power. This technique cannot be used if she is extremely low on magic since it draws from her reserves and can only be used once per battle. Thus, she only uses it as a defensive maneuver and only when absolutely necessary. Rank: A

The attack concentrates water into needle-like projectiles which are released from the snake’s mouth. These needles have the ability to deeply penetrate skin and can be manipulated to contain elevated levels of either Hydrogen or Oxygen that target the central, pulmonary, and sensory systems. Exposure to the Oxygen enriched version can lead to disorientation, breathing problems, vision changes, seizures, severe cell damage, collapsing of the lung(s), and retinal detachment. Side effects of the Hydrogen-rich technique include: severe headaches, ringing in the ears, dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, unconsciousness, and depression of all senses. Rank: A

Kaya encases an individual in a thin layer of water that allows her to pinpoint the exact source of the affliction. She then works to remove, dispel, or heal the effects of certain magics by gently forcing water through the skin, essentially pushing/pulling the ailment out of the body. This is attained by imbuing the water with a special property that locates the anomaly/ailment and attaches to it so that it can then be removed. Magics which are counteracted by this technique include poison, possession, and virus. In the case of possession, Purifying Elixir nullifies the effects by driving the physical form of the spell from the afflicted's body. At C-rank, the stream can render an opponent or object immovable. At B-rank, Kaya focuses the stream more which increases its power enough to crush medium-sized objects. At A-rank, the technique is able to pierce though extremely thick rock and crush larger materials. Hailey had just begun to enjoy the company of the two younger mages but that had came to an end as a raven haired woman came in and started speaking, Hailey would take on a more serious look as she watched the woman. "I can do what I want. Despite who I am or what position I hold I can partake in these events as I see fit." She spoke as her tone of voice matched her serious expression "I don't care what place I get, I just want to be able to get another book for my collection. Something I'm sure you wouldn't understand." Hailey would speak as she turned away from the slender woman, her attention going to the young slayer who seemed thrilled about the appearance of a saint "Yes, I am a saint. Please don't make it to big of a deal." She spoke to the young girl, although it was an important position Hailey wasn't the type to flaunt it or brag about it. She gratefully accepted the title but refused to brag about it like other saints might. From that point on Hailey would attempt to ignore the raven haired mages that had recently entered, she wasn't interested in arguing with the woman or even getting into a fight with her. However her attention to slay was soon pulled away but the voice of the red haired girl, her looked ill which caused Hailey to react as well. While the slayer talked to the young girl the book mage would grab a stool and carry it over to where the girl was at. "Please sit. I'm sure none of us want you fainting and be forced out of the competition." She spoke to the girl as she set the stool down next to her, "Rosa was it? Please take care of yourself and rest," her gold and silver eyes then lifted to the woman standing next to her, "Go get this girl some water." Hailey would state, before turning her head back to the red haired mage "Rest up, don't push yourself if there is no reason for you to." Hailey would attempt to give the girl a warm smile though considering her awkward way of dealing with people Hailey could only pull of a slightly kind smile.
Something was odd about this girl, Hailey had traveled almost all over the world and had met different people with different magic. Her knowledge was vast but still limited in some spots. Magic being one of them, there was so many different magics out there from old to new; custom to taught so knowing exactly what was going on with the girl would be near impossible to figure out. None the less Hailey would watch the red haired mage closely, even when the slayer remained close to the girl Hailey would watch her. She seemed harmless and kind, it was more out of concern for the girl and those around her that Hailey would watch her. Whatever caused her to go from being fine to feeling lightheaded was something strong or at least something that could be strong. "So Kaya. You enjoy fighting. Think of this as a more fair battle of wits. You have to be smarter than everyone else to get the attention of those judging and taking pictures. This is basically a fight for the top three places. If you don't get fired up about it then you may lose." Hailey would try and encourage the girl to be motivated by the competition; though she wasn't sure if her words would even faze the girl at all. Some slayers were competitive about everything while others were competitive about certain things.
Lily would smirk at the woman's remark "Oh of course! I'm sure you could do anything you wanted! I'm just surprised that you would be so fame hungry that you would show up to this little thing!" Lily would speak as if she was accidentally saying her rude comments "I must say, I always thought you would be humble about your position!" She would snicker as she waved her hand as if she was teasing "I guess I shouldn't assume things, now should I?" Lily would smile once again before feeling a hand on her shoulder and hearing Rosa's voice, "Fine, fine. I'm only trying to make it a little easier for us." She would speak lowly to her guild mate with a slight sigh, in order to keep Rosa's secret a secret Lily would hold off on her hostility to the wizard saint, although she still wanted to get the woman kicked out for fighting. She would watch the slayer and the saint check on Rosa, her hand outstretching to make room between the slayer girl and Rosa "Please make personal space for her. I'm sure getting up close to someone feeling lightheaded is the last thing the person would want. You don't want her feeling any worse than she already is, right?" Lily would offer a sweet smile though she would let her magical might tell the girl she meant business. Lily could easily square up against Hailey and hold her own but she much rather would pick on those weaker than her. Speaking of the saint, Lily heard the curly haired woman's voice tell her to get Rosa some water but she wouldn't budge until the slayer backed up, she didn't want Rosa to get kicked out because she accidentally soulgazed on someone because they got right in her face. "Once the little girl her backs up I'll get her some water. Rosa should be able to get breathing room is she's not feeling great. Am I right kid?" Lily would speak to Kaya, keeping her golden gaze locked on the girl, though her tone was sweetly honey laced she was still very much a faker; she was hardly actually nice to anyone. This being one of the few moments Lily would actually show some sort of kindness for anyone, her reasoning being at least somewhat selfless; though in truth Lily didn't want to deal with the aftermath of guilds getting upset or other's wanting to go after Rosa.
Disdain for just about anyone that was even slightly human Lily would often try and ruin something about the person. Though she always seemed kinda and sweet, it wasn't really who she was; how she acted around her guild mates was different from those she was trying to con , which differed from those she was trying to intimidate, which differed from when she was alone. Her true personality was a bit of mystery. Once there was room between the slayer girl and Rosa Lily would get a bottle of water and toss it to Rosa before looking at the other two, "I guess if you two are willing to just roll over and accept defeated already I'll go out and take the judges by storm, of course.." Her eyes would would to the girl who got so close to Rosa "I don't think I have much to worry, I could probably win even if you two did come out on stage!" Lily would smile at Kaya and Hailey as if she was being friendly to the two and just being jokingly cocky. Turning to the certain Lily would being to strut out, pulling open the thick red cloth; she would reviled the large circular stage decorated with flowers. Once fully out it was time for her to work her magic, and being the only one on stage she could soak up all the attention. Starting with a simple stretch she would smoothly transition into a hair flip using both arms before following through with bringing her hands down to maid apron like wrap around her hips and undoing it. With the wrap tossed on the ground Lily would proceed to model her pearl skin, sending heart shapes and kisses with her hands, Lily would flirt with the judges and the photographers while still on stage. Even getting on her knees to flirt with the shortest one of the group.

Kaya bouncing to within an inch of her face, and as surprising as it was, it didn't bother Rosa in the slightest. The curiosity and worry the girl exuded were interesting enough to keep the surprise from rattling her. The information of being in the same room as a Wizard Saint, however, shocked her greatly. She didn't know much about them, honestly, but always wondered about their order...
Wow... interesting company we find, right? I know, right?
The feelings of concern that the trio had for her were soothing, and the mental fog she had fell away as if it never was. Her shoulders and back eased, and her breathing was even again. She looked around and smiled minutely to herself. Sure, Lily was being a toxic b***h again, but she at least had her own and Rosa's benefit in mind, even if it was misguidedly mean to try. "T-thanks guys. I'm alright now. I just have a condition that comes and goes. It makes me lightheaded and dizzy when I get overstimulated. I don't get out much, you know? Heh..." She caught the water bottle Lily tossed her, and checked the seal quickly, then opened it and downed half its contents. She barely had time to choke out, "Good luck Lily!" before her companion was through the curtain.
Look at her go... Man, I could watch her walk all day. Yeah... I know. Heheheheh...
She turned back to Kaya and Hailey and bowed her head apologetically. "I am so sorry for her behavior. She's always like this. I promise she's not so bad when you get to know her... So a bibliophile, are you? I suppose you're the kind with a huge library? I wouldn't mind looking at it one of these days!"
I knew she collected something... Why, its elementary, my dear Rosa! Carmellia was sporting a quintessential Sherlock outfit. Go figure, a mindscape like Rosa's was sure to have plenty of space for a wardrobe...
"So, who wants to go after Lily? Would either of you want to cooperate with me out there? I have to admit, I'm kind of nervous about all this, and my backup just walked out without me..." Rosa tilted her head towards the curtain, listening to the cheering and appreciative noises. Lots of lust out there. And Jealousy, but mostly lust. It was slowly getting to her, creeping into her thoughts and feelings. She did her best to resist the ideas and urges it was slowly beginning to plant into her mind. None the less, she felt a blush steadily creep across her face.
"Hey, can either of you do water or light magic? I have an idea..." She smirked and looked at the other two, the gears in her head turning suddenly. She was all sorts of inspired. Kaya's fighting spirit in particular would work best with Rosa's plan...
Rosa didn't look so good. That much Kaya could tell by the way she swayed on her feet. The teenager had gotten into her personal space without realizing it, wanting to make sure that she was alright. Apparently, she had struck some sort of chord with Rosa's friend. The older woman swiftly stuck her arm in Kaya's face, creating some space between herself and the red-head. Her ice blue eyes peered up into the cool yet oddly sweet face of Lily. Her scent possessed an odd quality. One that bothered Kaya the more she smelled it and the closer she got to it. "Your smell is weird." She stated bluntly, never breaking eye contact. Glancing back to Rosa, the Dragon Slayer studied her for a second before taking a step backwards, giving her a bit more space. It wasn't something she did because Lily told her to but something to help the young girl.
Hearing Hailey's explanation, Kaya stood to her full height, shifting to look over at the Wizard Saint. "A battle of wits?" Her face scrunched in thought as she absently tapped a finger to her lips. "Oh I get it! So it's still a fight, just without the hitting. Right?! I can do that! I like the other better, but when you put it like that...I can't back down from a challenge." The Slayer's lips curved up in a broad smile which reached up to her eyes. Confidence exuded from her. "I'll show 'em what I got!" Rosa seemed to recover by that point and interjected with an apology about her friend. Turning her head, Kaya patted her shoulder somewhat firmly. "Glad to see you up on your feet again. Don't apologize though. It's your friend who's got the issues..." Her eyes drifted to the curtains through which Lily had disappeared a moment before. I don't like her so much...
Kaya had little time to dwell on the other, however. Her ears perked when Rosa asked who would go after Rosa. But it wasn't until she asked about either of them possessing water or light magic that the teenager truly paid attention. Placing her fists on her hips, Kaya stood in an assertive manner. "If it's water magic you're after, then I've got ya covered. I'm a Water Dragon Slayer, after all." Water formed around her hand while she spoke. Holding her arm aloft, she manipulated the liquid to do various things before dispelling it completely. "If it has to do with water then I'm your girl. What do ya have in mind?"

Description: A variation of the Death Knell spell. Kaya grabs the target and uses this connection to increase the water inside the body. The result is a potentially fatal disturbance in brain functions that results when the electrolytes in the body are pushed outside normal safe limits by overhydration- known as water intoxication, water poisoning, or dilutional hyponatremia. It takes 3 posts of direct and unbroken contact to kill an opponent, 2 posts to cause sickness and severe pain, and 1 post to cause sudden pain and vomiting of straight water. Rank: S+

The vortex sucks opponents into its center and utilizes pressure to prevent escape, ultimately leading to unconsciousness. The amount of time it takes for an enemy to be rendered unconscious takes approximately two minutes- which is also the maximum length of time the technique can be used unless otherwise dispelled. Although powerful, an opponent can escape by nullifying the vortex through the use of techniques more powerful than it. Rank: S

These snakes have a mind of their own, being capable of twisting and chasing targets around the battlefield. Once an opponent is ensnared, the serpent reverts to a river which sweeps the target away. The concentration of water makes the spell resilient and difficult to destroy by normal means. Additionally, Kaya can summon up to three each time she uses this spell, with the spell itself lasting until the snakes are destroyed or dispersed. Rank: S
✯ Water Dragon's Secret Art: Midnight Palm Range: 300 feet Duration: 3 posts Description: Kaya focuses water around her arms and swipes them in a circular fashion. The move generates long torrents of water that are highly destructive and powerful. Rank: S
✯ Water Dragon's Secret Art: Death Knell Range: 15 feet Duration: 3 posts for partial effect. 5 posts for full effect Description: Kaya focuses water around her right hand. Thrusting forward, she unleashes the water in the shape of a claw and latches onto her opponent. Once the connection is made it is difficult to break. Kaya is then able to draw water out of her opponent’s body until they are incapacitated…or worse. Although powerful, this spell does have its disadvantages. The most notable of these is the strain placed on her body. It has a tendency to drain her magic at a quicker rate than her other spells due to the need to maintain the connection until completion. Additionally, the spell can be broken if Kaya becomes too distracted or is knocked unconscious. Size is also a factor when initiating this spell since it is specifically tailored to a target's original size. Thus, if an opponent were to shrink or expand, then the connection would be broken. To partially remove water from the body, incapacitating the target, takes 3 posts. To fully remove water, ultimately causing death, takes 5 posts. Cool-down period of 4 posts, and can only be used a max of 3 times in a single battle. Rank: S

She supplements the rain with a set amount of her magic reserves, essentially transferring it to her friends, giving her the ability to renew or boost their magic power. Although the amount of magic put into the technique can vary, individuals affected will only experience an increase in power proportional to the amount input. For example, if Kaya provides magic power equivalent to that of a B-rank maneuver then the other mages’ spells will garner a B-rank increase in power. This technique cannot be used if she is extremely low on magic since it draws from her reserves and can only be used once per battle. Thus, she only uses it as a defensive maneuver and only when absolutely necessary. Rank: A

The attack concentrates water into needle-like projectiles which are released from the snake’s mouth. These needles have the ability to deeply penetrate skin and can be manipulated to contain elevated levels of either Hydrogen or Oxygen that target the central, pulmonary, and sensory systems. Exposure to the Oxygen enriched version can lead to disorientation, breathing problems, vision changes, seizures, severe cell damage, collapsing of the lung(s), and retinal detachment. Side effects of the Hydrogen-rich technique include: severe headaches, ringing in the ears, dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, unconsciousness, and depression of all senses. Rank: A

Kaya encases an individual in a thin layer of water that allows her to pinpoint the exact source of the affliction. She then works to remove, dispel, or heal the effects of certain magics by gently forcing water through the skin, essentially pushing/pulling the ailment out of the body. This is attained by imbuing the water with a special property that locates the anomaly/ailment and attaches to it so that it can then be removed. Magics which are counteracted by this technique include poison, possession, and virus. In the case of possession, Purifying Elixir nullifies the effects by driving the physical form of the spell from the afflicted's body. Depending on the severity of the malady, the spell can take anywhere between 1 and 3 posts. It can also be used in conjunction with Water Dragon's Second Sight. Rank: A

As such, this technique has both offensive and defensive qualities. Defensively, the dome is capable of withstanding a barrage of attacks. Offensively, the orb allows Kaya to produce many sharp whips of water that can be directed towards and impale multiple targets. These whips can also change direction in mid-trajectory, bending to seek out the targets. Rank: B

XXX"God damn it Patty!" Nebula disdainfully snapped as her bunny girl had broken the zipper off of her mistress' swimsuit, and now there was an opening in her swimsuit that she prayed didn't get any larger; yes, even Nebula had her limits. "I swear to God, Patty," Nebula sighed, looking down at her cleavage with a solemn expression. "I-I'm sorry Mistress, it snapped by accident," the bunny girl said with repeated bows and the occasional sniff; little did Nebula know, is that Patty had planned it from the start, nothing but sabotage. It was all an intricate facade, behind all the crying and bowing, was a smirk and a laugh of satisfaction at seeing her bratty boss upset.
Once Nebula made it to the venue, she was hit with a strong wave of heat that made her actually zip down her swimsuit even more, fanning herself with a fan that she had conjured with her Arc of Embodiment magic. Behind her, patty was lugging her literal wine cooler, not the drink, but a cooler filled with wine. The girl caught glimpse of some familiar faces, Lily and Rosa. Hot. And new faces. Also hot. She shot them finger pistols at their direction before falling into a towel, which Patty had just set down for her. For now, she will rest, then chit chat. Admire pretty people. Admire pretty ladies. Yes.

Letting out a sigh Hailey would watch as Lily left to go on stage, such a strange girl that one was. Her attention would be soon drawn to the young girl who began apologizing on the raven haired woman's behalf. "It's quiet alright, people act the way they do for a reason. It's not your fault that she has acted in such a manner, so please don't apologize. I have a couple large libraries, one is my home and the other is in my guild. Maybe after this I could show you one or both places. I'm easy to find, wherever there are books is where you will find me." Hailey would speak kindly to the young woman, offering her a gentle smile as she spoke. Listening as well to Kaya she would only sigh once more. "Don't pay her to much mind. Just try your best to win. You two will be fine, show her what you two are made of." Hailey would cheer for the two but in a soft spoken manner, she rarely got loud even when cheering. It was just, drilled into her to be as quiet as a mouse. "I have a few books that use light spells but I'm not sure how well they would work for what you have in mind." She shook her head as she spoke, almost all of her spells were meant to cause great harm to people, very few were any type of support spell. "All I can offer for help with magic is a few of my wind spells, I can create angelic wings or a halo out of crystallized air. That's as much help as I could be to you."
As she finished her sentence a strong magical presence made itself... or rather herself, known. This person was at least equal if not more powerful than Hailey which made her guard jump. At first she was somewhat relaxed but now it was hard. "You two go out there and show off what you got. If you need back up I'll provide it but I doubt you will." She would smile at the two females before turning her back to them, there; Hailey would spot a woman similar to her in hair color and eye color.... well at least for one eye. Heterochomatic eyes would watch the woman finger pistol all of them before laying down on a towel, the poor girl following her seemed to be struggling with the heavy cooler. Though Hailey had no idea who this woman was everything in her screamed for her to be careful. As much as she wanted to listen to her internal warning screams she felt bad for the poor girl pulling along the cooling, Hailey would move the temporary room to where the woman was "Let me help you with that." Hailey would speak kindly to Patty as she offered her a sweet smile, showing her Hailey meant no harm; that instead she just wanted to help. Picking up the other end of the cooler Hailey would help the small bunny girl with the surprisingly heavy cooler. "Oh goodness, what is in this thing?!" Hailey would speak surprised as she looked at the thing, poor girl must be tired. "You know. It's not very kind making this small girl carry this by herself." Hailey would look down at the woman laying on the towel, still everything in her screamed to get away; this woman was no good.

Seeing as the other three hadn't shown up yet Lily was just absorbing all the attention, she would wink and flip her long raven hair around. Moving about on stage she would blow kisses and even sit on the edge of the stage with her legs dangling over. Lily had ignored the slayer's comment about smelling funny, she must not smell that funny if all these guys were still flocking over her. For now she would give then men what they wanted and maybe later teach the annoying brat a thing or two about telling other's they smell funny. Whatever that was about. As she worked her way around the men she would feel the presence of a familiar person, spotting Neb the liquid mage would give a quick nod showing she saw and recognized the Broken Crown guild Ace. As Neb went on to do her own thing Lily would go back to payer her attention to them men, she had no idea that her guild mate Rosa and the annoying slayer would be possibly teaming up against her.

As the others responded to her, Rosa would smile gently. "Okay... still, she was being rude, so I felt like speaking up. Friends shouldn't let friends be mean, right?" Kindness and honesty were something Rosa didn't encounter a lot in combination recently. It was nice. But... she had a goal in mind. "I would love to see those libraries one of these days, Hailey. But Alright, best of luck to you!" Hailey's sudden tension was stark, stone hard, and sharp against Rosa's senses, and it made her take a step back. Not out of fear, but simply out of discomfort. She equally suddenly had a mild headache, but she ignored it as best she could. And then she realized Neb was here. Late, like she usually was, but she was there. Rosa waved modestly and smiled. "Hi Neb! See you on stage!"
She turned to Kaya and tilted her head towards the curtain. "Okay, so, once we get out on stage, can you make some fine droplets of water in the air around us? I'll freeze them after that, and we'll use that to reflect light around us and make us seem to shine. Like... in a literal sense. Sound good? From there, we'll just pose together! How are you about being close to another person? We could put our arms around eachother's shoulders and work our magic together?" She smiled as sweetly and innocently as she could manage, but it was a big request to make of someone she'd literally just met, but she hoped it wouldn't go too horribly wrong.
Carmellia sighed inside Rosa's head and smiled. What's this? My little Rosa is trying to put the moves on some girl? I'm so proud of you!! Rosa could feel herself blush a little externally, but fought back the ideas her companion was putting into her head. Nnnnoooo... no no no... Cute as she is, I'm here for the contest. Unlike you. I'm here because you need me to be here, because I literally can't be anywhere else, and because of the massive concentration of beautiful women in skimpy swimsuits. Including your guildmates. This sort of thing is what makes me question why I loved you to begin with. Then I realize it's one of the quirks that makes me happy to have you. But that was mean. Now, keep me standing. Walking out there is gonna be a pain!
She had to wait for Kaya to accept her plan, but if she did, Rosa would walk out with what confidence she could muster, waiting for Kaya to make the water they needed. When the slayer got that done, Rosa would begin working her magic, using a small amount of her own soul to make the ice as beautiful and perfectly shaped for refracting light as possible. To it, she added a faint, rainbow shimmer from a small fragment of her soul she decided to toss into each fragment of ice. The effort caused her to wobble a little on her feet, but she stayed stable enough. It was then that the waves of emotions from the crowd and the photographers began to reach her...
