Elena lives in a two story Tudor style house. Along with the house there is also a stable that can house four horses comfortably, and four acres of properly, all fenced in and guarded by magic. The house itself has five bedrooms and three bathrooms, a kitchen, formal dinning room, living room, and a study.

She led the way out of the warehouse, silent as she did so. When they got outside there was a car waiting, with a driver so neither of them had to do that. The driver opened the door to let them both slid in the backseat, and then began to drive towards the house. They finally had a bit of privacy, and the drive was nearly an hour long, even using shortcuts. So they had time to talk, and the further they got away from the warehouse, the safer she felt. "Now, to business." She turned to him and stared him down. "I overreacted when I sent you away. In truth, I regretted it only a couple days later, but it was hard to find you. I searched everywhere, but only yesterday got word about this warehouse. But I've been looking for you for months." Too many months. She was getting too tired to do this. It drained her to walk all day and spend her evenings searching for news and sending out messengers. That, along with preparing the nursery anyway.
"You can have your old room, and I promise, I wont be sending you away again." For more than one reason. Regardless of the situation, children needed their parents, and as a single mother she wouldn't have the resources or ability to handle things on her own. Her child was a halfling. She would have to take extra precautions to protect the child. But for now the focus was on telling him the truth, and she was nervous about it. Come on now! You've had months to plan this speech. Don't mess it up now. "I was upset because I got a call from the doctor. I didn't want to trouble you with it at the time, but I was a bit overwhelmed, and angry. I didn't react well."

He followed her into the car and sat beside her he looked out the window mostly till she started talking to him. His eyes were forgiving, and so was he. "Well i hope you wouldn't send me away after all your hard work of trying to find me." he said and gave her a cute smile showing his dimples. "i was sent to that warehouse cause the others couldn't sell me, said i was too troublesome." he shrugged and little
His happy face wet straight to concern when she said she got a call from the doctor. "What do you mean you got a call from the doctor? Whats wrong? Are you ok? Please tell me you are ok." Jax was very good at showing his feelings and showing how much he cared for others. His face had concern written all over it, his eyes looked like sad puppy eyes.

Did she mention that this guy crawled into her heart in record breaking time? Those sad puppy eyes make her wanna just bawl. But then again, that could be the hormones. Normally they just made her melt. "I'm fine. Its perfectly normal. Im a woman, after all." She shrugged. It had been hard to digest at first, but now it was easier to swallow and accept. "The doctor told me I was pregnant. Just a few weeks, but enough to register on a pregnancy test." She finally said it -- there. Done. Mission accomplished. Sorta.
She looked out the window for a moment, gathering herself. She'd been planning this for months, this admission. Not only had she kicked him out and sent him away to a hellhole, but she'd also torn from him his chance at being a father. He missed every appointment, painting the nursery, picking out the crib. Everything he was entitled to be a part of, as the father, he didn't get to do any of it. All because she made one choice in anger and confusion. She felt more and more awful about it as time passed. But at least there was still time to make it up to him.
She pulled a photo out of her purse, and handed it to him. "Its the most recent sonogram. A little girl." She didn't fully trust human doctors, but it had been the safest option. But boy did she have to restrain her magic. Did she mention the pregnancy sometimes caused her to hiccup bubbles? Witch pregnancies were funny. And a pain in the butt.
"And I have a feeling most of that 'troublesome' was your own doing." He was stubborn when he wanted to be, she felt.

Jax was rendered speechless for a few moments his face was blank as well till it fully registered in his mind. "Wait does that mean im gonna be..., that im the..." he looked at the picture she hall pulled from her purse he took it from her hands and listened to her words, a little girl. Jax looked up at her his face full of excitement and happiness. "I-Im gonna be a father?" he half asked as a question as he looked at the picture "Im gonna be a father." he repeated to him self, a few tears falling from his eyes, but a smile was on his face. He let out a laugh at her comment of the troublesome being mostly him, and wiped his eyes. "I-I can't believe it, im gonna be a daddy." the tears of happiness continued to fall from his eyes. For a guy he was pretty in touch with his emotions, more than most men were at least. "H-how far along are you know then?" he asked looking at her, his mind to full of emotions to do math.

She touched the amulet on her neck and it glowed for a moment, letting the glamour fade away. "Eight months." She already had preparations for the midwives made. No way was she having her child in a human hospital. Nope. Too many things could go wrong. Plus those places were easy for nonhumans to infiltrate. But her home was guarded with magic. Much safer, considering the circumstances. "You are the dad. It is why I got angry." She said, but she admitted right away how awful that sounded. "The child of a slave is usually seen as a born-slave. Regardless of whether the parents was a mother or father. I will have to fight to keep her away from it. But if anyone finds out that its your child...at least right now...a human slave? It wont go well." In the very least if they had proof that he wasn't born a slave and that he had some nonhuman roots, her coven might be willing to accept the child and protect her. But the problem was no coven would accept a human child. Even if her mother was a pureblooded witch.
The driver paid no heed to them. He was not paid to eavesdrop and if his mistress found out he was doing so, he'd be fired and in big trouble. Witches were not the kind of folks you wanted to piss off. You pretty much stay in their employ till the day you die. Either of natural or unnatural causes. "The nursery is next door to my room. Im sure you remember it. The walls are painted yellow now and the crib is white. The window has sheer curtains, but the window is spelled so no one can see through it from the outside." To anyone looking in from the outside it would look like a dark and empty room. That was all.

he looked at her as she touched the amulet then looked down at her belly. The excitement in his eyes was real he didn't care about her kicking him out with no reason now all this made that fade away. He nodded at her knowing him being the father was dangerous "umm, there might be something i should tell you." he said and looked at the floor, he was always advertised as human, because he himself was a halfling, but they didnt know what the other half of him was cause it wasnt obvious. "I dont know what i am but i know that im not just human, i mean i stopped aging at like, what am i now 23, 24. You kind of notice something like that when you should be dead by now. Im just advertised as human." he admitted with a little awkward smile. He listened to her talk about the nursery and what it looked like which made him more excited and even more eager to be back to his old home to see the room, and not to mention sleep on a bed and not metal bars, or a metal floor.
Jax laughed to himself a little, still so excited and happy about the news he was given he couldn't stop looking at the picture, the first picture he has of his daughter, who was going to be here sooner than he knew. There was a look of pure bliss on his face as he looked at the picture like nothing else mattered in the world, he had this little girl on the way to protect.
What Jax didn't know of the other half of him, that this type of elf that his father was, has long been extinct, the were very evil and dark people, they practiced dark magic wanting to pretty much rule everyone, and have everyone be bowing at their feet, something that showed when he was angry and only when he was angry.

Instead of being angry, she was delighted. "So that explains your aura!" His was so odd, but not exactly one thing or another. So she'd overlooked it at the time. But now, it all made so much sense! "And if you are half anything else, it could greatly help our daughter. Especially since she's likely to obtain magic from me, so if her other half is nonhuman it will greatly increase the chances of the child be recognized by my old coven, which would mean protect for her, and status for you." Depending on what he was, she could make everyone respect or fear him. But that was a task for another day. "This is great news." The whole him not aging thing was just a side issue. There were ways to delay or stop aging. Spells, magical items. She wasn't worried about it. Her only concern right now was her daughter. Of course, she had no way of knowing the slightly concerning information about what he truly was.
She watched him as he seemed to obsess over the photo. The sonogram that proved her daughter's existence, though her name on the picture was listed as an alias, obviously. "We have to come with a name soon." There were several options, of course. But the father should have a say. "And we need to go through the staff and make sure everyone is aware of the need for secrecy, on the multiple matters. Even with me freeing you, people could become angry about it." She needed to make sure everyone knew the consequences of telling her business to outsiders.

"I didn't know my aura was that strange." he said with laughter. He sat back in his seat and let his head rest back on it, he watched the trees go by and couldn't be happier to be out of that place he missed the smells of nature and watching the outside world do its own thing. He kept the picture in his hands as he watched out the window, his life was great again and made even better by the news he was giving what more could someone like him want. "Farah i like that name." he spoke and turned to face her, he liked this name cause it was the name of the only shop owner to actually care for him before Elena found him, odd but she was the nicest shop owner any one could meet. "What were your ideas for names?" he sat up a little so he wasnt slouching and put the picture in his flannel pocket under his vest. "OH or Nova, i don't know why but that name has always stood out to me, it pretty unique just like are daughter will be." he said in a soft and caring voice and a little smile came to his face.
"How much longer till we arrive? I feel like this ride is longer than the first time i was here." he joked and chuckled a bit, a few reasons he was so keen on getting back;one was to see the nursery, another was to shower and change, as his and clothes and himself were rather dirty from that warehouse. It was clear that shop owner only took care of certain pets, and those were the women and a few men he had the good looking model like ones.
Jax had gone back to looking out the window and was absorbing all this information, this information that he was so glad to hear, apart from the fact he would have to act different in public with his child, but to him that was something minor

To the world he was a slave, even if within her own home he was treated as the master of the house. He was essentially seen as her consort, by the servants, but it was all a tricky business. "We should arrive any moment." She said. Time had passed as they had talked, and the drive only seemed long because of his excitement. As they neared the house she could see the gate and the house. "I never had time to come up with names, but I like Nova." It reminded her of the infinite galaxy and all of the possibilities that it contained. All the opportunities that this little girl would have, even with her mixed heritage. She would be born with power and the freedom of belonging to multiple worlds. She could, one day, possibly choose what society she wanted to be a part of. Others only had one choice, because they only were one thing. But it also made her child a target for people like slave traders, because she would be unique and most witches were pretty. It was a defense mechanism of many predators and several would argue that a witch was just that. After all, they were higher up on the food chain. Prey rarely could boast that.
"And here we are." She said as the car pulled to a stop and was shut off. The driver came around and opened the door to let her out first, then Jax. She'd already informed the staff that if she came back with a male, he was to be treated well. She'd been referring to Jax, of course. And now that they had arrived, he was once more home. "I've made a few improvements to the house. There is now a greenhouse in the back, and I've set up a library. " It wasn't hard to get someone to come out and build the additions onto the house for her. People pretty much did what she wanted them too. And having money always helped in that regard.

Looking out his window he saw the all too familiar building come into sight. He stared at it till the care came to a stop and the door was opened he waited for Elena to get out then followed her. Jax was still the taller one being around 6 foot something. He hadn't had any belongings just what he wore, that was sadly torn and stained, from who knows what. Jax was afraid though, afraid of what Elena might do or how she might react if she saw his skin under the clothes. His arms had scars from himself, the rest of his body had bruises and scars from the warehouse owner.
"Shall we then?" he spoke in a peppy voice excited to go into the house, he was practically running to it, something he hadn't done in a while, run. At times Jax would seem like a little kid stuck in an adult body, but maybe that was due to not being able to be a kid. "A greenhouse?! Oh thats sound lovely and like im never going to leave that place." he laughed out as he walked up the steps to the door

She laughed , listening to him and watching him, as she walked inside the house. As for staffing the house had a head cook, assistant cook, maids, a driver, a butler, and several bodyguards. Oh and a stable master. But what could she say? Her coven was housed in a huge mansion with a lot of staff. She was used to that type of thing. She wasn't used to doing all the chores and cooking on her own. Plus in her condition that was a no-go. Not a great time to suddenly start learning. And she could afford it, so what was the issue? however, almost every one of her employees was nonhuman. She didn't hire pure humans. Its why everyone had been so shocked when she'd come home with a human slave the first time. "Well the greenhouse and every part of the house is open to you. I had a master key made and its in your bedroom." His bedroom connected to her via a set of french doors. It was an interesting room, but it was made specifically for a couple, specifically a consort and more powerful individual. These type of set ups were common with her people and select others. It allowed her to conduct spells or business when she needed to and him to listen it, without others seeing. It had many benefits.
"Your closet is fully stocked with clothes and your bathroom has everything in it as well. I also have a horse for you in the stables." Everything had been prepared for his arrival. She'd known it would only be a matter of time until she'd find him, so she'd made sure everything would be ready.
"Why don't you go shower and and I will meet you in the nursery afterwards? I want to go check on the warding spells I put in there earlier."

"Wow you had everything prepared, cause you were determined to find me." He laughed and nodded to her about having a master key, the way he was treated was not typical for a pet, but he wasn't your typical pet and she wasn't your typical mistress. He walked up the stairs to his room and looked around at it, still so familiar to him. and walked to the windows and stared out them for a while, the view, just as he remembered it. He turned from the windows and made his way to the closet, and looked threw the clothes, for something with a long sleeves, and jeans before he walked to the bathroom. he turned the shower on and removed his clothing hat first, then vest, and shirt and so on, keeping his chain necklace on. He looked at himself in the mirror for a long while, he looked at the new bruises and old ones, then at his arms and the scars before shaking his head and stepping into the shower. The warm water felt nice over his skin he watched as the water that fell off him washed away all the grime.
After his shower and changing into some jeans and a black long sleeve he took his old clothes to his room and hung up his towel. As he walked to the nursery he mindlessly rolled his sleeves up to his elbows he walked down the hall looking at everything, nothing much had changed here, but he didn't expect it to. When he reached the nursery he just looked in, a large smile crept to his face showing those adorable dimples. "It looks so lovely in here." he said as he took a step into the room and looked around, he still couldn't believe he was going to have a daughter.

She was putting the finishing touches on some spells when he arrived in the room. At first she didnt notice anything because she only tossed him a quick glance as she went into the closet to pull out the bedding she'd recently purchased, and began to make the crib up. She'd been determined to have everything set up before the baby arrived, rather than doing it the day of or day before. But as she started putting the sheet on the mattress she glanced up to say something to him, but stopped when she noticed his arms. She froze in what she was doing and her expression was unreadable, as it became a frozen face of neutrality. A practiced expression. "What happened to your arms?" She asked cooly, the amulet at her throat turning a darker shade as she continued to stare. Anger. Her amulet was spelled to focus her magic and help her with spells. Unlike some witches, she didn't have a familiar to help her with that. So the amulet was used. It just happened to be red because it was made from a ruby. The magic used on it simply altered the shade of the natural stone a bit.
"Is there anything else?" She asked. He might as well fess up. Sooner or later he'd been unclothed in front of her. After all, how does one think she ended up pregnant in the first place? So lying about it would only delay the inevitable.

Jax walked around the room and let his hand trace the wall as he looked at all the little things and details in the room. He stopped however when Elena asked what happened to his arms he was confused a little till he saw he had rolled his sleeves up he quickly went to roll them down, but soon stopped when he realized there was no point. He let his arm slide off the wall and rubbed one of them with the other. "I thought life was pointless." he admitted to her and turned to her, he was looking down at his arms. "I thought my life wasn't worth living if i were to be stuck in that place for eternity." he glanced up at her quickly before looking down at the question of anything else. He took a deep sigh and stood head hung down for a while, then started to pace the room slowly, He didn't want to show her, her magic could erase the scars on his skin, her magic and no affect on him. but that was due to his nonhuman half.
With another sigh he stood up straight and pulled his shirt off. Bruises littered his body, as well as a few cuts and scars. "I wasn't exactly the favorite, like you said, i can be stubborn at times." he said trying to laugh it off. His body also seemed thinner than before. He slipped his shirt back on over his head. "This isnt about me though, this is about you, about are daughter and making it safe for her." He said giving her a smile trying to reassure her he was fine, that he was ok.
