Artemis lead La'ella to his home and smiled. "This is it La'ella. My home isn't as big as Shaline's, but it's still comfortable. What do you think?" He noticed that all the lights were off, aside from the porch light. Walking up to the door, he noticed that it was still locked. 'Looks like Rune isn't home yet.'"Well, Rune isn't home yet. Looks like you will have to wait to meet her."
La'ella had taken Mr. Artemis's hand as they walked, yawning sleepily as they had walked. When he asked her about the house she smiled."It...looks nice."Her ears twitched when Mr. Artemis had said something about Rune. She remembered Shaline saying something about this Rune before."Is....Is she just as pretty as Ms. Shaline?"She asked before she yawned again.

Artemis smiled and looked around. "It's definitely home." When asked about Rune, he chuckled a little. "Rune is a lovely lady. She must be out getting supplies. It's usually pretty late when she gets in."'I'm on to talk about that. Rune is usually the one waiting up for me. She won't have to anymore.' He stretched out and turned his attention to La'ella. "We should probably find you a place to sleep."
When it seemed like Artemis wasn't paying attention, La'ella made her way to the living room and curled up on the couch, drifting to sleep almost immediately. The couch was just comfortable enough for her. That day was an eventful one at that. She was finally free from her captor and she could live a normal life....but it was going to be hard to adjust.

Artemis smiled a little, taking notice to La'ella taking off. He followed her to living room and watched as she laid down on the couch. "Rest easy La'ella." With that, he grabbed a blanket and covered her up. As for himself, he walked into the kitchen and sat down. It had been a long day and he wanted time to think. 'She's still able to smile after everything she's been through.'
By the time the sun just cracked over the horizon, La'ella was up and about. She figured out how to use the stove and put on some eggs that she found in this strange box that kept things cold. An ice box without he ice and something automatically keeping it cold....She found bread that she toasted in the pan she couldn't find any meat that lent itself into a way of boar meat, so she would ask Mr. Artemis when he woke up.

Artemis wasn't sure what time he had fallen asleep, but he knew that it was late. At some point, he had made it into his bed. 'When did I get here? How long have I been asleep?' He stretched out and made his way into the kitchen. "You don't have to do all this La'ella." He couldn't really be surprised by what she was doing. It was probably something she was used to, but he didn't want her to feel like she had to.
La'ella's ears perked when she heard Mr. Artemis speak, and then they flattened."I....."She started when the doorbell rang.

Artemis smiled and walked to the door. "It's alright La'ella." He opened the door and smiled at Shaline. "Shaline. Don't tell me that you did all this for me. It's a good look on you." He chuckled a little and turned back to La'ella. "You've done more than enough. It's nice of you to want to cook, but you really don't have to."

Shaline looked over when the door opened. She was confused for a second and realized he was talking about her outfit and hair."I do where normal clothes ever so often. As for the hair, it was time for a change."She held up the basket."Plus, since I need your help moving furniture, I decided that I would make breakfast for the four of us if Rune is here. But it seems that I was sort of beaten to the punch."Shaline smiled and walked to the kitchen and laid a hand on La'ella's head."We can add what you made to mine. After all, we had the same idea."Shaline smiled as La'ella seemed to feel better about the situation and found somewhere to sit."Is Rune here?"

Artemis shut the door behind Shaline and walked into the kitchen. "Is that the only reason you came over?" He chuckled a little and sat down on a nearby stool. When asked about Rune, he shook his head. "I haven't seen her come in. She must be out gathering supplies for her shop. Sometimes she ends up spending the night out where she is. Perhaps she will be home later."

Shaline cocked her head to the side thinking for a second when she realized why she really came over. To hide her blush, she started opening cabinets to find the plates. Did she really want to spend the most time that she could with him? As she found the plates she shook her head mentally and forced her to stop blushing as she turned back and unpacked the breakfast."Well, then I guess we'll just have to save her a plate in the refrigerator. Oh, La'ella. That is what they call the ice box here. I learned that the hard way."She plated one plate with some of La'ella's startings of a breakfast and some of her own breakfast, making sure to make most of it La'ella's since she had worked so hard."Rune is very talented in her work. I can only envy her. I made my knives for my ninja, but of course in Eorzea, we are limited on what we can do. We just don't have the right tools. At least for a Blacksmith. Weavers on the other hand have more freedom to create beautiful clothing."

Artemis smiled and looked out the window. "There's a lot to learn about this world. There are even some things that I don't understand. Take the portals for example. Now that is something that I don't fully understand. They appeared for a reason. I think the worlds want to fight back against the Deimos." The Deimos was something else that he didn't understand. He had no idea where they came from or why they were attacking the worlds.

Shaline placed Artemis's plate in front of him as La'ella came over and sat next to him. She quickly plated La'ella's before plating her own."For now, let's just eat. I, for one, am hungry."She sat down next to La'ella as she handed a plate to the young Miqo'te. Shaline smiled as the young Miqo'te scarfed down the food. It occurred to her that La'ella probably didn't eat very well with that pathetic excuse for a Lala. It then occurred to her that the Lalafell had facial hair, causing her to give a little chuckle to herself. Of course...he had facial hair. But that was a joke for another time. Right now was breakfast. Shaline's tail moved slowly as she ate the plate of food.
