It was a couple of days later when Ashley next got the chance to go back to the form that she had been given as Reinerite at the close of the Negaverse Information meeting.
And whilst there was homework that she could be getting on with - because there was always homework that she could be getting on with - Ashley rather thought that getting Axinite’s form completed and turned back in kind of took precedence.

Ashley frowned slightly because it didn't look like she had filled out quite as much as she thought as she absent-mindedly tapped her blue-inked biro against the form for a few moments before carefully crossing out the ‘I’m not sure that I have been in the Negaverse long enough to comment on this’ because whilst there was truth in the sentence, Information was one of the branches she was considering applying for and whilst there was nothing to suggest that how she filled in the form would affect any future application, Ashley didn't want to prejudice her - well make that Reinerite’s - future choices.
She made herself some tea and rustled up a cupcake from a bakery that she had yet to type up on her blog as she pondered things through carefully before eventually writing a new sentence in the space remaining:
Whilst I haven't been in the Negaverse long enough to give a full observation on this, I have noticed that sometimes it can be hard for new or newish recruits like myself to get the training that they need.
Because whilst Ashley didn't count herself amongst their numbers, it was something that was more down to hard work on her part and the fact that she had a good general…
At least she considered Aurostibite a good general - but despite this she was happy to work through things on her own - not when she could work through things on her own with a bit of effort on her part.
Or a lot of effort - although it wasn’t as if she was counting.
She glanced at the next question on the form thoughtfully as she sipped at her tea:

Ashley lifted her pen and then a thought occurred to her and she went back to the previous section and added in a second sentence.
It also feels like there is little opportunity for a lieutenant to do more than gather energy for quota.
She had to squish the words in to make them fit in the space, but somehow Ashley managed it and also managed to keep the handwriting relatively neat.
She turned back to the next section.
It would be useful for there to be more training opportunities for lieutenants.
And then added:
It would also be useful for lieutenants to be able to get experience of working with generals who are not their own...
Although Ashley then found herself promptly crossed out the line because it seemed a little presumptuous.
Eventually however she finally filling the form out to her liking and carefully put it away, to be delivered later on in when she - as Reinerite - went out to gather and hand in her quota.
For now however there was homework and lots of it, although at least there was also tea and cake to keep her company while she worked on it.

Opportunities for lieutenants to sign up to aid in missions would be helpful so that they are contributing to more than just quota and can better help the Negaverse.
Requests: Opportunities to work under different Generals and Captains in order for lieutenants to get used to working under different styles of leadership.
