Some of the most intense fighting is occurring in this hotly contested area in the struggle between the Dominion and Providence.

1,432,324 bugs at my disposal. Laura thought. That'd be enough to map out most of the compound that sprawled out in front of her. She quickly went about bugging all the guards she could find, noting deviants who had a power that effected the area around them. Those were the most important ones. The dangerous ones. After a few minutes of hiding and bugging, Laura had a pretty good layout of the compound and had identified her targets. There was a meeting to discuss general strategy and efforts to take over the Dallas area, that's why she was here. Listen in, gather information, then get out. Hopefully undetected. To listen in, she'd have to get closer to the center of the compound. It was too dangerous to stay where she was on a nearby rooftop. There were snipers watching for someone to be doing exactly what she was.

Locust moved down and into the sewers where there were fewer guards. She planned on getting directly under, or as close as possible, to the meeting room while still being underground and safe. Staying undetected was her first priority. There were 15 deviants. patrolling in the sewers. More than she expected, but nothing that couldn't be dealt with.

In a matter of moments, most of the deviants in the sewers had been neutralized. Most didn't even get a chance to react before being swarmed. the few that resisted the first wave were quickly, and brutally, handled with a second or third wave. Locust had the bugs check, none had appeared to go into shock, and all were breathing. Good. She quickly identified the central communications center for the patrols, and had bugs destroy wiring to their radios. That'll buy me some time. She thought. Having command radio these guys and not getting a response would have them send more down here. Something she didn't want. Locust made her way under the center of the compound, and sat down. The meeting had just begun.

Concussion

Locust would hear something that she would not likely expect. Something few people expected. Yet given her limited knowledge she may not understand the gravity of what she heard. The voice of Concussion. A founder of the Dominion who was often seen in places before they were leveled. If Concussion was here instead of Shockwave it meant that there was no plan to salvage. Concussion was the blunt instrument sent to destroy and he did it well. He had no mind for political games or secret moves, yet there were few minds better than his own when it came to destruction. And given the new scar that wrapped around his arm, he was looking to do damage.

"We have prepared to move on the office building where our scouts suspect that Providence spies are hiding." Another voice in the room reported. Locust would hear some footsteps and her bugs would report to her that there were five men in the room. Then suddenly it would report only four men. Not because anyone had left the room, but because the bugs who came into contact with one of the men suddenly stopped reporting anything. If she could see through them, she would see then burn up upon contact with a man wearing jeans and a black sweater.

"They have been bound to the building by are men. Any who try to escape come under immediate attack. They are trapped." Another man spoke. Finally Concussion spoke.

"Good. Prepare a van. Legion and I will go and level the building." He gave out orders with comfort and prepared to leave the room but stopped at the door as the man who had been referred to as Legion spoke.

"While we are away, continue the search for their hideout. The scouts are trapped but they are just scouts. They had to have come from somewhere. See if we can get someone to track any outgoing messages." Legion seemed equally comfortable in giving out orders. At least this version of Legion did. One of the men grabbed their radio and put out the call for a van to be prepared but received nothing but static in response. Legion, with an innate feeling that something was off, walked across the room and snatched the radio. "Everyone report in." A few seconds passed in silence, then a few more, and then it became clear that something was wrong. Concussions voice broke the silence when he said,

"Legion, let's go have some fun."

So, she'd been found out. That was alright. They didn't know where she was, and she knew where every single person in the building was. It was time time to make her play. Locust reached out with her swarm sense, and identified all the deviants in the compound above.

Most of them seemed like just normal people, a few were tough, a few were Area of Effect blasters it seemed, but none of them stood a chance. Not in the few seconds they'd have to react. Hundreds of thousands of bugs began disabling all the deviants in the buildings. She counted something like 38, not including Concussion and Legion, who were left unharmed in all the madness. The others in the room, however, were not. On the inside, to Concussion and Legion, it looked like a wave of buzzing darkness crashed into their compatriots, who quickly succumbed to the pain. The screams of their friends, outside, were audible as well. The air in the room went from a cacophony of buzzing darkness to a sudden still, leaving only the screams of those around them audible as three clones formed in front of the pair.

The middle one spoke out first. "You two are in charge here, yes?" The leftmost clone continued "I'm sorry to interrupt, but ya know. You guys found me out." The final sentence was heard from every part of the room.
Even the bugs crawling on Concussion. "Funny thing is, for the dominion, I thought this'd be way harder than it really was. You guys are kinda p*ssies."

Concussion

"Oh he is in here, I am just here for the fun." Legion responded. Any bug that touch him incinerated on contact and in he paid close attention the ones that came within three feet of Concussion also seemed disintegrate. There were a great many deviants and founders like Concussion traveled with a small army of allies. An army that she would be able to feel pushing back if she was still tuned into the bugs outside the room. While it had seemed that they were being disabled, they were only stopped for the moment of surprise and nothing more. The Dominion sent Concussion to destroy, he brought people he knew were good at destroying. They had been prepared for a full force Providence attack, a few million bugs would not be an issue forever. It would certainly take time, but they would continue to fight back. The silence over the radio was suddenly replaced by a flood of different voices screaming about bugs but it was nothing Legion and Concussion did not already know so they ignored it. The room itself went down as most in the room were just there to deliver information Concussion gave out.

"Are we now? And who is the one hiding behind bugs?" Concussion narrowed his eyes and then lifted his hand towards the door behind him. Not more than a moment later did a beam of energy burst forth from his hand and obliterate the door which he then backed out of into open space. The room was the issue, but with open space, he could hit whatever he wanted. Legion on the other hand, remained exactly where he was and laughed a little. Any bugs that came for him would burn up so he wasn't particularly threatened. Nor was he particularly hostile. "Legion where is she?" Concussion shouted as he began firing off beams that disintegrated any bugs that came near him.

"I don't know. Not my power. That would be Cedric's, or Scott's but neither were on your side remember? I find out where she is and you may end up fighting one of them." Legion shouted in response without moving. Concussion seemed bothered but not enough to say anything about it.

Laura Hebret
Locust

( LOCATION ) xSewer system under Dominion base tab ( Feels ) x Creative. tab ( WEARING ) xCostume. (Pictured above)

Laura made sure the others wouldn't be an issue. The ones who were just people with powers were easy enough to disable, for the time being at least. She'd put the ones with dangerous, but imprecise, AoE powers into shock, or otherwise make sure they were outta the fight. The precision AoE people were a bit more tricky, but were mostly put down with distractions and swarms hitting their back side, they weren't clairvoyants after all. Some of the brutes didn't really care about her bugs, a bit annoying, she thought, but not impossible to get around. Most were low level beaters, nothing too difficult, a stray grenade here, pulling a silk strand on a gun trigger there, the low tier beaters were all either dead or disabled. For the upper beaters, that would be an issue. Something she'd picked up on in her time being a super, the toughest people were usually still squishy on the inside, and everyone needed to see and breathe. She swarmed the tanks that remained, coating them in insects and forcing bugs down their throats, up their noses, and behind their eyelids. The tanks that weren't tanks on the inside, she cut their optic nerve, rendering them blind and in fits of pain. The ones that were tanks on the inside were suffocated into unconsciousness as thousands of bugs attached themselves to the lining of their lungs. All in all, it took about 15 seconds.

Laura turned her attention to the hall that Legion and Concussion had just stepped into. Their compatriots were there, writhing in pain, or not moving at all. Locust had won, and she'd known it from the beginning. The three clones reformed in front of the duo.
"Your forces are down and out, you two are the only ones left. This is over, surrender yourselves now, and accept being detained. I won't warn you again."

Concussion

The difficult thing about bugs was that when they died they had the incredibly human habit of staying dead and while the bugs may have done an excellent job of disabling the Dominion security, they were not doing so without incurring losses. Any number that they had started with would have been diminished by millions by the time that only Legion and Concussion were left and while Concussion was not considering that fact, Legion was. Legion smiled at the three clone and then put a hand on Concussion's shoulder. "Shoot in front of us and behind us. No number of them will keep them from being destroyed and it will by Scott time."

"Buy Scott time?" Concussion repeated with a slightly confused look. After all, Legion had just refused to give over control. Locust couldn't have seen it coming, not conventionally, but she was probably smart enough to feel the subtle shaking in the floor. Concussion felt it and so he vaporized the three clones and everything else in the hallway except for Legion with two massive beams of energy. It was what Legion said it would be, a distraction from the real attack. Legion had knelt down, that would be the last thing the bugs saw before Concussion's beams blinded them to the rest of the hallway. The ones that had been closest to them had suddenly turned to ash, burned away by Legion's powers before he gave over control of his mind. He didn't know for a fact that she saw through the bugs but he did know that the bugs were not on their side, and they were gross, so he could kill them.

Legion placed both of his hands, palms flat, on the ground and closed his eyes. "It's been fun, Concussion, see you around next time he loses control." Salazar (Legion) said before focusing in on the earth and the things within it. It was almost a sort of sonar that he was using but it showed him every bug in the floor, every tunnel and loop of the sewers beneath them too... including where Locust was sitting. His fingers dug into the earth and as they did every bug within the base and the surrounding blocks was crushed by the earth shifting around them. Legion's face strained but not because the use of his power was too daunting, it was simply shifting the ground really quickly to kill little things and that was easy, what hurt was trying to hold control while the other personalities were fighting for it. Only a few more second would pass before Legion, still protected by Concussion's constant beams, caused the sewers she was hiding in to collapse around Locust.
