Lixes was out and about again, moving through the trees of Jauhar at a fast pace. It wasn't that he exactly had anywhere to be at the moment so much as he was sort of training himself. He had a habit of sort of... falling when he was racing through the trees. He tended to catch himself decently enough but wouldn't it be better to not fall at all? That was what he was working on today. To add to the challenge he was carrying his hammer on his back because it was necessary to train in such a manner. His weapon was needed to protect others after all so he had to get used to the weight of it.

He was bouncing along the branches, stumbling once or twice, but thus far he was doing pretty alright! He would have to tell Drexl all about it once he got back home. Drexl was really good when it came to climbing and he really wanted to be able to keep up with him. Once he felt that his tree racing skills started to really excel he meant to challenge him to another race. Soon, but not quite yet. He wanted to make sure that he was ready before challenging Drexl again since he tended to lose to him. He wasn't bitter or anything, but he wanted to be a better challenge for his big brother or else Drexl might get bored of racing him.

That in mind he continued his rush forward through the trees, a grin on his face as he went.

Lixes slid to a halt on the branch he was on, arms windmilling for a moment as he tried to regain his balance, before looking around. What... was that? Sounded a bit like the scolding that he got from older members of his family he thought to himself, wondering it was another older guy out there that was grouching at him. He turned around on his heel, looking around, before he started toward where he'd heard the voice.

After spotting the one that had said it, a Shifter with rather amazing looking hair, he started to hop his way down. He squatted down when he was on a branch above the Shifter and said in a rather cheerful tone of voice, "I'll be alright. No worries!" The guy was a stranger but a rather nice one, especially for a pure blood. Not that he could recall having any issues in the past with any Shifters but still, given he was a mutt himself he knew there were those that didn't approve.

Lixes gave a bright, toothy grin, before he said, "Can't say that I have!" No reason to sweat the small stuff in his mind. He hadn't seen one of the menzuri before but he wasn't worried about them either. Mostly because it wasn't as though he meant to get into a fight with the weird creatures any time soon. He was working on training himself so that he wouldn't have to worry about falling from the trees if any sort of arboreal beast tried to chase him.

Sitting down on the tree branch he leaned forward, arms resting in his lap, and starred down at the Shifter with mismatched eyes, "So! If there are menzuri about why are you here? Are you hunting them?" He asked, wondering if the guy was out trying to slay the dangerous spiders to protect the nearby village? Maybe he was trying to save someone from them? What was he up to? Lixes couldn't help but to wonder.

Lixes found himself watching the guy as he climbed up alongside him, something that had Lixes pushing up to his feet so as not to be sitting in front of the guy. While he didn't seem like a bad guy, in fact seemingly more a hero type, he had to be careful. He didn't want to risk being blindsided by him after all if he did decide to do something more villain like. As he spoke of using 'Carro' which he guessed was a nondwa to see the web he gave a thoughtful sound then said, "So those guys can be useful for more then just make up, huh? I never knew that." He'd seen women who used their glittering dust to enchance themselves but he never knew that they were useful for more then that. It was interesting.

After a moment of thought he decided that he could follow the Shifter for now. If he got any uncomfortable vibes off of him he'd leave, but for now everything seemed fine. As they walked the guy said something about the menzuri, even the little ones, falling from trees at people. Instantly Lixes was looking around for just that, wondering how far he might be able to send one flying were he to hit it with his hammer. This thought in mind he took the heavy weapon off his back just in case.

"So where are we heading?" Best to know where they were going. Last thing he wanted was to let the guy lead him to parts unknown after all. While Lixes was the sort that wanted to only think the best of everyone after running into a villain trying to kidnap Rajani he knew he had to be careful.

Lixes watched the large, crystal spider for a long moment before looking over at the Shifter, "I'm not worried. If I see one I will tell my father... well, either of my fathers. I mean my Alkidike father will beat it to death with a hammer and if it's my Earthling father... well, he'd probably rip it's legs off and beat it to a pulp with its own limbs. They are pretty awesome like that!" He grinned a bit, as though his words weren't terrifying in the least bit.

Looking back up the tree at the spider he watched it for a while then said, "So... I'm confused though. Explain to me why we came right to the spider when you're tell me I should run away from them instead?"

Lixes gave a whistle, "Well that makes sense then. I was starting to think that maybe you were getting your lessons crossed in your head or something." Something that had him laughing a little. It made a bit more sense for the guy to show off a dead menzuri to him because it was one of those 'see this is what the beast looks like' lessons. Made more sense then 'don't go near them now follow me to see one'.

Reaching forward with the hammer he gave the dead menzuri a bit of a nudge before he said, "So it took you and a few other archers, huh? That's pretty neat. I mean that you guys worked together that way." That was how he wanted to do it himself. To get a group together and go after big, powerful things! He'd definitely drag Drexl along, maybe Jerami too, and anyone else that he could talk into coming along for a bit, awesome battle!

He was sure this was probably all supposed to chase him off but instead just made him want to do such battles himself. Well, himself but not by himself.

Lixes features seemed to brighten, his mismatched eyes going rather wide, before he clapped his hands together, "Really? That sounds so cool!" He should probably be thinking about the fact that the appearance of such people meant something dangerous was happening but he didn't care! The idea that there was a group of heroes out there somewhere that would appear and save people was just... amazing! He started to all but jump up and down in place, "That is what I want to do when I get stronger! I want to be a hero that protects everyone!"

There were many that told Lixes that he'd been born in the wrong era, that he'd missed all the great wars in the past, but that didn't stop him. He wanted to be a hero and he meant to become the best of the best! He would show everyone that even without great battles he could be a great hero! He gave a smile and said, "I will make sure those in my adventure group train hard so that we can be as awesome as your group one day, Mister Shifter!" He'd have to talk to Drexl first, to tell him what was going on, so that the two of them could start training together more to prepare themselves to be something as great as this Shifter and his group!

"Isaris then!" Alright, having a name was a good thing as it would help him to be able to talk to the guy without just calling him 'Mister Shifter' the entire time. He lifted a hand, patting it against his own chest he said in return, "My name is Lixes! It's nice to meet you." Not just because it was a polite to say so but because he liked chatting with the guy and learning about the hero group that was working in the area.

"Huh? Oh! Hahaha, well a bit of a few things actually." It didn't seem as though Lixes was at all bothered by the question about his background since he was proud of it. He set to counting off what he was saying, "I am a mix of four thing. One of my fathers is half Alkidike and half Leaf Tribe while by other father is half Wind Tribe and half Ice Tribe. So yeah, a whole bunch of stuff!" As one could tell just looking at him, though everything sort of mixed together making it hard to tell at a glance what he was.
