[ Backdated to sometime within a week of this RP ] Without General Labyrinthite's stern voice and strict regimen reigning her in, Tourmaline had been set adrift. Without Captain Aluminite to anchor her she had continued to float, finally landing precariously on a ledge. Tourmaline teetered and Tourmaline fell. The young woman woke up not knowing what day it was or how much time had passed since the bender she'd gone on with her best friend and partner in all things devious. Her mouth felt like someone had stuffed it full of cotton-- Cotton that had been soaking in bourbon... Or was it tequila? Had she even read the label on the bottle before filling a glass? Do you even remember a glass? Up is down. Left is right... Her head pounded as she stood, stumbling towards the bathroom to splash water in her face and fumble around for a bottle of mouthwash. Food would be a good next step, but she wasn't thinking straight. She needed... She needed.... "Tourmaline," she muttered, vibrant eyes locking on the gaze staring back at her in the mirror. Her eyes narrowed as she glared at herself before drawing the shadowy cloak of Negaverse energy over her, transforming from the broken Katrina Halloran into the damaged Captain Tourmaline. Her fingers curled into a fist and slammed into the bathroom mirror, shattering it into a thousand spring green eyes staring back at her along with one cracked grin. Hands sliding up his chest, cheek pressed to his shoulder. Body warm, pulse beating. Focusing on that memory was enough to guide her teleportation to the last place that she had seen Sailor Aue. She had no way of contacting him-- At one point he had mentioned a phone that General Labyrinthite had given him, but she hadn't trusted it, hadn't wanted to give him a way to find her, but now that she needed to find him... " AUE!" The Captain called into the darkness, knowing it was foolish and that the odds of him being anywhere nearby would be slim. If anyone else answered her call she would simply beat them into calling the Senshi of Lemons for her-- Senshi could communicate with one another, couldn't they? "Aue, you sour son of a b***h! <******** you. Aue, do you hear me? AUE."

Tourmaline was in crisis, falling apart at the seams in her civilian life and frothing powered - the lack of Labyrinthite's presence, the defection of her lover, whatever else. She was running at boiling point and wildly dangerous. None of which Pasi knew about. He knew that American McGee's General hadn't contacted him in a long while, that the burner phone he'd routed through to his own was strangely silent. The lack of contact made him feel unsettled and on edge; it was as though he were holding his breath, waiting for something to happen. The Finn did not appreciate this series of sensations. To distract, he continued to train and work and study. He would wear black, yes, and that would likely be the end of his schooling for at least some time, so he had to get as much as he could done now, while he had the time and still wore his own face. Lauri was ready, however. All that was needed before corruption was twenty-four hours to move the last of his things to a storage locker under what would become his new identity, and to set a series of electronic protocols in action. He was ready. It was just the waiting now, and that restless rippling under the surface that had him transforming more often than not for at least small amounts of time. If the number had been lost, it would be only powered that he'd have a chance to find his pack-mates. Pasi left his apartment, left the DCU campus. Aue went out, playing magical parkour as he traversed the city and all it's auras. Patrols and battles, Chaos and Order, energies like dim stars or bright points pricked across his skin. He could have engaged, could have done any number of things. Instead he went to the various points in the city where he'd met with others: Wolfeite, Labyrinthite, Sedna, Caedus,Quartz. Dia, Tourmaline. As he neared the last, he could hear someone yelling into the darkness, could just make out some of what was being said. '--uck you. Aue, do you hear me? AUE.' The energy screamed Negaverse, warned of danger. But he was being called, the tone high and sharp - demanding. His call sign an epithet with voice he recognized. Tourmaline. She would no doubt feel the Order aura he gave off, but she wouldn't know it was him without sight or sound; Aue made his way closer, slowing only as he grew near until he was practically strolling up to the agitated Captain. He presented it as nonchalance, but it was more wariness than anything - Tourma looked like she might vibrate right out of her skin at any moment, might explode. "Tourmaline." Standing just outside arm's reach, he crossed his arms over his chest and lifted a brow in question, "Next time, call or email yes? It's easier than hoping I am out." It was sheer luck (or Deus Ex) that he happened to be out patrolling, let alone visiting old contact points - what had she planned on doing if he hadn't shown up? "What do you need from me?" As always, his words were brusque and terse, to the point, but not rude.

"I can't call your phone with this thing," she spat while flinging her communication crystal at the nearby warehouse wall. There was a slim chance that she might regret her actions later, but at that very moment it had seemed like the most rational thing to do. "I don't have your number. I don't know you're email, I..." What do you need from me? His tone was clipped-- Bored with her antics already when he'd only just arrived? Very possible. More than likely he was just being himself... Or he knew a thing or two about how to carefully handle the unhinged. "They're gone." Her voice cracked from the yelling; rough and raw where it had been smooth and silky when last they'd met. She was fraying at the edges, unraveling faster and faster and her head was pounding. The yelling hadn't helped her head, but by sheer chance it had brought him to her and she hadn't even had to kill anyone to get him there. "I need..." Sleep. Food. Water. Alcohol. A warm bed. A nice, hard... Tourmaline cleared her throat, tried to, eyes closing as she drew in a breath to push words back out. "I need you to tell me when you last heard from General Labyrinthite or Captain Aluminite. Now."

The level of unhinged Tourmaline was currently operating at became even further apparent as she chucked her communication crystal against a hard surface, rambling at him that she couldn't contact him for various reasons. Aue understood that there was nothing good to come of the captain's upset, she sounded so unlike the woman he'd come to know that it was unsettling. Whatever she needed, she wasn't asking for it but instead focusing on work. Easily answered, really. "It has been many months, not since we were last here have I seen the General...as for Aluminite, I have not seen him at all." "They're gone.", she had said. So, it was not only he being ignored for some slight, but an actual missing person's case that kept Labyrinthite from contacting him. Interesting. No wonder Tourmaline looked like s**t and acted like she was about to come apart - her General was gone and, unless he'd misheard, her lover also missing in action. "Falling to s**t is no good. Bad enough two are off. You look like hell. Do you eat? Sleep?" It was more concern than he might've shown nearly anyone else, and his tone was even less acerbic than usual.

"I can't sleep." Restful sleep had been eluding her for days and so she drank in an attempt to get any sleep. Her own small apartment had been neglected , refrigerator bare save for old pizza boxes. She couldn't go home because her mother would worry and her father would assume 'it was the drugs' making her manic. "Don't answer any calls or summons you might receive from Aluminite. He's not-- He's not him anymore." Mentioning his name made her skin crawl, bringing up thoughts and feelings that she couldn't handle. Every fight or flight instinct that she had was telling her to start pacing again, to keep moving, to run. She remained still, arms crossing over her chest as though that might somehow ground her enough to hold her in place. "He turned his back on us. He turned his back on me. There's someone out there wearing his face, someone who knows things about me... " Tourmaline trembled and her arms tightened around herself, determined to somehow keep herself from vibrating out of her skin. "I can't eat. Makes me sick just thinking about it." The alcohol hadn't helped. At least she hadn't resorted to eating starseeds... "I don't know what to do."

'I can't sleep.' A statement made in tone that spoke volumes in three simplistic words. Aue held his tongue, waiting as she spoke further; Tourmaline's attitude was erratic, disturbed. It was clear she had more to say and he wasn't certain that interrupting the captain was a smart idea. But what she said only made his brow furrow - Aluminite was no longer to be trusted, at all. As a turncoat, he was to be ignored at best, hunted and destroyed at worst. "I will remember, if I find him I will incapacitate him if possible to turn him in." Tourmaline being so... raw...was concerning; she was typically well held together and it was jarring as hell to experience her this way. "Get laid. Maybe you'd sleep then." She needed to de-stress badly; sleep and food would come after, he supposed. "Orgasm, nap, then food."

She laughed, the sound bitter at first and a bit more like a hollow bark as it choked off at the end. His words had served to distract her from the thoughts rolling through her head, wild eyes rising to meet his while lips pressed into a thin grin. "Are you offering? Because, last I checked, I'm fresh out of volunteers unless I want to put on a pretty face and look for volunteers at a club or a bar-- Might not end well, honestly." For the men in question, of course, not for her. She could defend herself, but if a perspective partner guided the dance in the wrong direction.... Tourmaline stepped closer to the Senshi of Lemons, lightly dragging clawed fingertips down the line of his leaf green bow. Her touch stopped at the button just beneath it as she pressed in closer to him, the smile on her lips shifting into a light smirk. "Are you going to take me for a ride? Getting on a bike behind you is almost as good as an orgasm, Aue." His style of recklessness was far more in control than hers was, making it all the more tempting.

Tourmaline's laughter cut across Aue's eardrums and scraped at skin uncomfortably, but he remained still and as expressionless as he could manage. Until she mentioned it, he hadn't actually thought about whom he was suggesting she bed, but the idea wasn't the worst. Was he offering? When she stepped closer, fingers reaching out towards his chest there was a brief flash of concern that she'd take his starseed though he didn't flinch back. Flinching was showing weakness and he'd learned to not show weakness to his pack - it was dangerous to show weakness to the Negaverse in general. "Maybe I'm offering. Be difficult, I think, as we are." But as for the question about whether or not he'd take her for a bike ride, that was far safer to answer. "If you want to lend me your bike again, I'll take you for the ride of your life." He was certainly willing to take her for a ride...either sort. Just a matter of logistics.

Fortunately for Aue, Senshi of Lemons, Captain Tourmaline preferred his starseed right where it was. She would have preferred it slightly tarnished while still being a part of him a little bit more, but she wasn't exactly in a position to turn away anything that she could get. "We need to do something about that... Soon. Can't keep you waiting forever, Aue. You're part of the pack. You should be part of the pack." She was getting distracted and the frustration brought a momentary surge of pain to her head. A low growl rumbled in her throat as she drew her hand away from his chest to rub at her nose. Think. Think. "I teleported here. I didn't bring my bike. It wouldn't have been a good idea." It had been days since she'd last taken it out for a ride, maybe longer. In the condition she'd been in she would have been more likely to wreck than be of any real use in the seat. "I can teleport you to it. Us to it. I don't think I can teleport just you. You aren't mine to summon... But I'm glad you came."

Her fingers curled against his chest, warm through the magical fabric. Was she feverish? The glint in her eyes and flush to her cheeks said yes, but Aue wasn't certain it had anything to do with an ailment. "Agreed. Sooner would be better." The white moon is full of idiots, sloppy and careless and with dangerous ideologies. I was never to be a good match for that life."With no sleep, it would have been dangerous." Aue watched Tourmaline calmly now, she seemed unlikely to harm him on purpose, his starseed was safe for now regardless of how agitated she might be. He had worth to her, plainly. "So teleport us both. We will ride around Destiny City until your head clears as it can." Until the boiling in her blood settled some, until he could figure out where best to take her to make her rest. A hotel or motel would work - dangerous, staying powered, but it was a risk he calculated worth taking. Some food, some sleep...she would be better for it. Tourmaline was his superior officer, part of his pack and he would find some means of aiding her. "Captain, I am yours to summon. We are packmates. I will come when you call."

Tourmaline was only partially listening to his words up until the moment he said Captain. The words that followed drew her eyes to him again. Her hand drifted away from her face, fingers falling away from the bridge of her nose so she could reach out to rest her hand on his green ribbons. She tugged at them lightly before letting her touch drift up to his lemon broach, rising on her toes to brush a light kiss to the line of his jaw. "Mine? I like the sound of that, Aue." Her words were spoken softly and with a devilish quirk of her lips she was teleporting them across town to the garage she'd left her bike at for the night. She drew her keys out of her coat pocket as she stepped away from him, swaying slightly on her feet. The energy drained from teleporting had subdued some of the more hasty impulses, doing little to give her enough sense to put distance between them. "We're going to make quite the sight tearing around town tonight... Just imagine how confusing it will be if anyone out there picks up on our auras just zipping around." Laughter rang out from the Captain, accompanied by a slow shake of her head as she held her keys out to him. "You remember how to start her up, right?"

This time Aue felt only a residual wariness at an officer of Chaos touching over his starseed; Tourmaline wasn't going to harm him - but it was prudent to always be somewhat wary. Her lips on his jaw preceded a spoken admission of pleasure at how he'd answered, as well as the gut-twisting sensation of being teleported bodily to another location. He didn't recognize the garage, nor did he try to - knowing would do nothing for either of them - his purpose was otherwise this evening. She seemed slightly unsteady after bringing the pair blinking through the ether, but he didn't reach out to steady the captain. Tourmaline would not have welcomed such attention. "Maybe we will be the strangest thing out, tonight." Maybe not. Aue took the offered keys with a slight smile and a nod, "I would not forget. Your bike is a beautiful machine." And one that he would run his hands over with care before straddling the seat and engaging the engine; the rumbling was stronger through the thin material of his costume as opposed to that plus sweats. "Come, captain. Let me give you something you need." They were a pair of wild things that thrilled to speed and if he could not give her satisfaction one way, he would do so another.
