Beyond a massive and beautifully carved stone door something begins to stir, the sound of something fierce echoing from beyond it. Those Snagems that braved the labyrinth and survived now stood before the towering slabs of stone in an equally large hallway, the size of the corridor making it apparent that it was not meant to accommodate them but something much bigger. The thing on the other side would let out one final roar before the stone doors flung open and with it came a gust of stale air, an awful musky scent flowing out with it.

On the other side of the doors was only darkness and the sound of something moving, something very big as the ground beneath their feet would tremble, the force of the tremors becoming greater as the presence got closer and closer. Soon whatever slumbered within the darkness would reveal its self in a fashion most fierce.

"Graaah!" Roared the tremendous beast as it came charging out of the darkness on all fours. Once on the other side of the doors the beast would raise up and stretch for awhile and then pound its chest with another triumphant roar. It was free!

Now in the light of the burning torches which lined the hallway of giants the Snagems could get a clear view of what they were dealing with. A creature humanoid in shape and at least twelve feet tall. It possessed bulging muscles and rugged gray skin. For feet it possessed massive hooves which shook the ground as it walked. It hands were enormous in size, big enough to grab an average person and throw them like their were a doll. The sclera of its eyes were bloodshot with rage but its irises were gold in color. On its giant head were a pair of deathly horns, each of them longer and wide than the head they sat upon, how it managed to balance those terrible weapons was anyone's guess. A simple leather loin cloth gave it just the smallest amount of modesty.

With a snort the 'Minotaur' would get down on all fours again and rush head first at the group of Snagems, its head lowered so that it could swing its axe-like horns when in striking range.

Manner of Battle

The Minotaur will be controlled by myself and all damage will be decided by myself as well, utilizing a damage calculator and all max stats (with the Minotaur's being Terrakion's, however increased). Furthermore you may be instructed to perform rolls for things such as evasion and luck.

Your Pokemon and your character are allowed a single 'action' per post. Actions include Pokemon attacks, Hybrid attacks, Channeler abilities and so forth. Multiple attacks may be used in a single post as long as it is within reason and can be logically chained together. Hybrid attacks and Channeler abilities still require a Elemental Gem. Furthermore using up a healing item does not take up your entire post, you may still perform an action while healing.

After everyone participating has posted once I shall make a post declaring the damages taken and other actions performed by the Minotaur. Occasionally situations will arise where unique actions can be taken by the first person to jump on said actions such as a Voltorb appearing to throw at the Minotaur (example).

Keiko opened the door to the next room, but before she could get a good look at what fresh hell the Labyrinth had in store for her, she felt a strange energy enveloping not only herself, but the tired Cutiefly on her shoulder. When it faded, she found herself in front of an open gateway. However, before she had time to think, something resembling one of her ex-boyfriends started charging toward her at full speed.. Fear consumed her, freezing her to the spot. Cutie was also affected by fear, though she responded differently, channeling as much Bug-type energy as she could muster through her wings and blowing a mighty Silver Wind at the beast.

Upon hearing the final roar, Hedj would get up in a hurry and start pushing Amaranth out of the shop. "You must go, now. It won't be much longer before it awakens. I wish all of you the best of luck." The hasty words were the last thing on Amaranth and Gale's minds as they found theirselves at the Minotaur's chamber yet again, this time with several others. Though there was something to be said about the strength of numbers and the simple fact that they weren't alone, safety was still a commodity under a major shortage. The doors flinging open to reveal a murky darkness and the ground trembling with each step was only a precursor of the fearful sight to come.

The next few seconds felt like an eternity as a massive beast charged through the open door, moving on all fours and still towering over everyone and their Pokemon. Just being near this thing seemed like it'd spell certain doom, let alone the horns that'd put any spear or axe to shame. Trying not to shake out of fear, Amaranth and her Pidgeotto would ready theirselves, wondering if anything they could do would be effective against this mighty opponent. At the moment, they'd just have to throw what they could and see what'd stick.

"We're gonna have to give it everything we've got. Gale, Air Slash!" She called at once, her Pidgeotto aiding Cutie's Silver Wind with the slicing winds. All the while, she'd keep a hand on her bag of items, ready to make use of them at a moment's notice.

Casually waiting for the door to open, Reno would uncap and spray the other Super Potion he purchased as he felt the room rumbling around him. He was going to be prepared for...the big grey hybrid that was lumbering out to greet them. Glancing down at Nalu as he waited for the potion to take effect, Reno watched as the Silver Wind from Keiko blew past to impact the Terrakion hybrid. "Well, time to show our stuff. Nalu, Thunder Shock." Reno told the small Electric type. watching as a bolt leaped across the battlefield towards the hybrid to electrocute it.

Odd Jumped up when the others suddenly began to appear. "You guys all got thrown in here, too?" He asked, still not sure exactly what had prompted GRAY to send him down into this place. "Please tell me this is Sub's fault and I can hurt him when we get home?" He asked no one in particular. That is, until the immense doorway across the room began to slide open, revealing the gargantuan creature within.

"That.....Looks like someone with a really bad headache." He announced to himself before looking to Fermata. "That thing you did to those Golurk earlier? Can you do it again?" He asked of the Decidueye.

"Decid." The Arrow Quill Pokemon responded with a nod. Stretching out one of the vines hanging from his neck, he plucked a piece of leaving plumage from the inside of his wing, drawing a long shaft of what looked like wood from within the feathers as well. Drawing back the arrow, filling it with Ghost energy as he did, he released the Spirit Shackle toward the Minotaur, the arrow curving through the air in such a way that it almost seemed alive. The arrow would evade most attempts at blocking it, aiming to loop around the beast and pin it to it's own shadow, trapping it in place and damaging it's very spirit, reflected on the earth beneath it.

Coming up the stair from the first floor, Arkelos and Houndour come into a room to join all the others. Looking around the room, a loud echo catches his attention. "What the hell was that?" He asked himself.

The room shook, dust and rocks fell from around the Stone slab, "Ummmm, i honestly don't know how i feel about this." The stone slab doors open to reveal a mosterous beast. "Oh, that could do it. Massive, Angry, and by the looks of it; I don't blame it. I mean look at that thing."

Houndour took little to no interest in Arkelos' bad jokes, jumps forward. Giving out a bark, it readies for battle. "Right. My apologies. Joking aside, let's see what we can do to join the others."

"Houndour, Light up the floor with embers! It's time to turn up the heat!" Shots of embers go flying through their area of the room. "Great, use those Embers to harness the heat. It's time we gracefully bestow your fires from within, starting with Flame charge!" Houndour takes off with a trail of flames in close tow. Using the embers on the ground to add fire and flames to it's speed.

"I do hope yall don't mind a little heat, It's about to warm up." Arkelos shouted to everyone in the room.

The stone door rumbled shut as Isaac and Angron dived underneath the slowly closing vertical slab of stone. "It's a good thing I don't wear a hat," Isaac mumbled as he checked to see if his Aron was okay, and dusted himself off. Looking around, he realized that the room had chanced from the corridor he had left behind. This wasn't the same darkened hallway he had been expecting to return to, but a well illuminated chamber, decorated with white marble and inlaid gold and silver filigree, giving the room a bright and rich feel that seemed harshly juxtaposed with the rest of the dungeon. The rooms solo prior occupant, a Mr. Mime clutching tightly to a broom, stared at the encroaching pair with bewilderment.

"At least this one isn't attacking us," Isaac remarked to Angron, with a shrug, "Should we see if this one is friendly? It would be just as out of place as the rest of this room." Angron rolled his head around, as he considered his trainer's suggestion, before burbling assent and beginning to walk towards the psychic Pokemon, who for some reason seemed oddly focused on the pair's feet. Just as Isaac was about to call out in greeting to the human like Pokemon, it jabbed the end of the cleaning implement towards the pair's legs and began ranting furiously.

"What?" Isaac asked, taken aback by the sudden outburst by the previously docile Pokemon. Looking down at his Aron to see if his Pokemon understood what was going on, when he realized that both Angron's feet and his own were still covered in mud, muck, and sand from the previous rooms the pair had trekked through, and they were now leaving evidence of their travels behind in the form of a couple of sets of footprints across the otherwise pristine floor. "What? You're getting angry over our footprints?" Isaac called out incredulously, "It's a labyrinth, not the Hotel Richissime." The now furious Mr. Mime didn't care about Isaac's objections however, and gesturing sharply with glowing hands and eyes, the floor dropped out beneath the unaware pair sending them tumbling down a hidden shaft with naught but a trailing yell, and a few muddy tracks, to mark their presence in the chamber.

A minute later, which felt an eternity to the screaming, falling pair, sliding rapidly down the hidden shaft, trainer clutching Pokemon tightly to his chest in a futile attempt to protect his Pokemon, the two were unceremoniously deposited on Isaac's a** into a cavernous room already sprawling with activity. Four other Snagem's were already present, and unleashing the traditional special upon a humongous, monstrous hybrid with a wicked pair of horns sprouting from it head. The gut trembling roar the creature was bellowing snapped Isaac into action, the adrenaline already running through his system now kicking into overdrive as his brain processed the danger zone they had landed in.

"Iron Head!" he called out, letting his Aron leap from his grasp before charging towards the flank of the rampaging beast, steel armored head glimmering with the sheen of gathering chi. Leaping at the last minute for additional momentum, Angron launched himself, shouting a battle cry of his own as he careened into the back of the creature which Isaac had concluded at this point to be the labyrinth's Minotaur. By themselves, the pair almost certainly wouldn't stand a chance in this fight; together as a group, there just might be a chance for success.

The various attacks would begin to bombard the charging Minotaur, the Air Slash empowered Silver Wind raking the hybrid's stone body and the Thunder Shock delivering a taser-like jolt. None of those would make it cease its charge however, that honor was granted to Odd and his Decidueye, its Spirit Shackle landing dead center in its shadow, the Terrakion hybrid stopped dead in its tracks as the owl's sorcery momentarily froze it in place.

With the monster temporarily immobilized Houndour and Aron were able to close in and ram into the beast, the bull man snorting as the tiny creatures rammed into it while it was helpless.

The Spirit Shackle wouldn't hold the monster for long however, as the beast freed its self with a trembling roar, Houndour and Aron just starting to retreat once it was freed. Angered further by their attempts on its being the beast would begin to swing its axe-like horns wildly, slamming them into the walls on either side of it and causing the entire hallway to shake and chunks of stone fall from the ceiling. It was using Rock Slide through out the entire hallway!

(Roll to avoid the falling rocks! Roll between 0-15 (0-10 if capable of flight) to determine damage (result x10). Take 2x damage if weak to Rock and x0.5 if resisting it. Roll the number that is the result of this post's roll [11] and one of the 'rocks' turns out to be a Geodude! Take +15 damage from Geodude exploding.)

(Initial roll was meant to be 2-10 due to Intimidate x2. Not rerolled due to result going past the minimum.)

Amaranth would have to brace herself from the Minotaur's swings and subsequent shaking from the entire hallway, seeing chunks of the ceiling begin to cave in and barely managing to avoid one that nearly fell on top of her. She wouldn't have the chance to warn Gale to try and evade the attacks, though the Pidgeotto was already a step ahead and trying to do just that. Unfortunately, it wasn't quick enough to be meaningful, nearly being totally crushed by a sudden avalanche of stones. The fact that she survived was, suffice to say, miraculous, and Amaranth had to move to get the rocks off of her Pokemon.

As soon as she did, she'd spray a Hyper Potion over Gale's wounds and gave a sigh of relief when her Pidgeotto managed to start flying again. "Careful now..." She said, doubtful of their chances after such an attack. "What else can we do he- Gale?"

To her surprise, she'd see her Pidgeotto rush to slam her wings into the Minotaur in retaliation, seeing a metallic sheen to them just before they made impact. After striking with the Steel Wing, she'd hurry to make distance between her and the Minotaur once again. Amaranth was still trying to figure out where that move was picked up.

Keiko panicked when rocks started falling on the ceiling and wound up falling, herself, landing on her back. When she got back up, she couldn't find Cutie - only a pile of rocks.

"Cutie!" Keiko yelled, running up to the debris and digging through it, only to find a passed-out Cutiefly in the rocks.

Keiko was about to lament the defeat of her friend when she remembered something vital - that she had a Revive on her! She quickly pressed the item against Cutie's fainted body, allowing it to dissolve into the bug's body and restore her health!

"We're not out of this yet, Cutie," Keiko said with a sigh of relief, hugging the tiny Pokemon tightly.

With the peril passed, Keiko looked up at the Minotaur with a steeled gaze. "We have to stop that thing from hurting anyone else! Cutie, can you try to use Stun Spore on it?" Keiko asked, eliciting an eager nod from the Bug-type before she flew off, spreading yellow spores from her fuzz that fell within the Terrakion's general vicinity.

Reno and Nalu would scramble as the roof began to collapse on top of them, jumping in panic at each crashing rock and reversing direction until they eventually ran into each other. Which was followed by another part of the ceiling falling on top of them.

Digging their way out of the rocky debris and glancing around, Reno would see the Terrakion hybrid still standing and looking incredibly healthy for it. "Well, I like our odds of dying soon, so lets go loud Nalu. Volt Tackle!" Reno told his Pichu, quickly grabbing him in his hand before pitching the Pichu towards the Minotaur. Nalu would erupt into a volatile ball of electricity as he streaked towards his target with a gleeful smile on his face.

Snorts from the beast come at no surprise, but the falling rocks might.
"Houndour Dodge those rocks!" Houndour did her best to avoid the rocks, but got clipped by a single rock. Houndour's speed declined and lead to getting hit by several others.

"You okay Houndour?" Giving a grunt it signals an okay response. "Great, now that the field is getting scorched. How's that fire of yours Houndour? Ready for another heat streak?" Standing with a keen look in her eyes, she give out a bark. "Alright, let use that speed you gained and pick up some more heat. Grab some flames and circle around it, just like we did with the Primeape.

Houndour leaps forward head long, picking up speed and flames of the scorched ground. "Alright, now bring the heat and trap it inside!" Running toward the beast, she flares up making her move.

((Decided that Decidueye can't actually fly in the absence of evidence otherwise.))
((Also, roll should have been 2-10 for me since Fermata has Intimidate x2 on him as well. Just noticed it wasn't up there. Not gonna re-roll since it was higher than that but....noted.))

When the rocks began to fall, Odd stumbled in his attempts to evade the attacks, almost falling down at one point. Fermata, on the other hand, was doing much better. While he wasn't flying, exactly, he was much more agile than his human counterpart, using those wings of his to jettison himself in a given direction and stopping just where he intended.

The owl was doing well at first but the falling stones just never seemed to slow down and he began to lose his moment, eventually getting hit in the back and knocked off-kilter. After the first stone hit, the remaining rocks that came near him seemed to just be homing in on the poor guy. One after another pelted him en route to the ground.

(8x10=80 damage)

Decidueye: 221/360 HP
Ability: Overgrow
Current Status: Intimidate x2

"Fermata! Get in there and hit it where it hurts!" Odd called out, pointing toward the gigantic creature looming over them.

Fermata nodded and pulled another arrow from his wing, though this one was not intended to be fired. Held strong in his right...wing? Hand? (winghand?), he rushed across the space between himself and the minotaur, his arrow's head now growing in length, becoming more blade-like as he closed the gap. When he drew near enough to strike, he lashed out, slashing at the beast's legs with Leaf Blade as he searched for a better target. It took a moment but, eventually, he spotted a better place to strike, a spot on the behemoth's side that looked to be far more tender and easily sliced or punctured than it's legs. With a mighty jump, he'd stab at the spot and push off from the creature's side, gliding a short distance back to Odd.
