Bushi was chatting currently with a man named Shion, a man that worked as a guard in Sulburi, but not the sort that drove Bushi crazy. Instead he was a friend that he worked with often in the past and often got useful information from for a price. Not that he minded at all, especially knowing that unlike the last time they had talked instead of four children he was up to six after his wife had a set of twins. Having a pair of twins of his own running around he knew that they were quite an addition to any family be it one with a lot of children already or not.
As they talked he was also doing some business on the side, having set up a small shop to make himself looking that much more like a legit merchant presently. It allowed him to talk with everyone that would be coming by for a visit today with ease while also making some sales here and there. His children felt as though they were getting bigger every day and that meant various expenses as far as they went. Not that he minded that either... he was pretty guilty of spoiling his babies and his Sprite after all.
After the chat with Shion ended the two of them shook hands, Bushi passing a small bag of coins to him as thanks for the information shared, and the man was on his way. Giving a smile Bushi returned to calling for customers to come over to his shop, while Aatos dozed behind him. He had to do his own calling today since he'd left Profit behind to play with the twins but it was a sacrifice he was willing to make if it meant that his babies were protected by the giant bird.

Aqio walked around in his new outfit. His hair fluttering around him as he paused to look over his purse. Things would need to be aquired for him to proper ask for forgiveness that Shesha got caught up in his issues. He wasn't allowed near the mage till he could prove that he wouldn't fly off the handle...it didn't go unnoticed that he had gone after another assassin. Which wasn't all that odd, but Aqio took it a few steps more before making sure she'd never impersonate another person again. He smirked to himself. Then his smirk fell, thanks to that heartless action he was deemed 'too wild' to go near anyone who was handling Shesha. He understood that...he would of most likely killed anyone who went near the mage at this point. He glanced down to the note his mentor left him. It told him to find the merchant, Bushi. The male was a hulking beast of a man from what he was told. As he asked around the Matorian was led to...yup...that was a beast of a man alright. For different reasons. He walked up to Bushi. "Excuse me."

Bushi turned to look toward the Matorian that was approaching him and he gave a smile, "Welcome!" He found it to be rather nice to see more and more Matorians around Oba, it meant that relations with the Water Tribe were getting better. One of these days he really needed to see about going to Matori to do some trading. It was just one of those things that he'd been worried about, not wanting to step on toes. If the Matori were coming here though maybe it would be alright for him to go there without incident? "Can I help you with anything? Perhaps a present for your girlfriend?" He offer, making a motion to some of the pretty trinkets that he had laid out before him. It wasn't the best of the best that he had with him, Aatos had those in his packs, but what he had laid out was a taste of what he had to sell, "If nothing meets your fancy let me know, I might have something that might tickle your fancy tucked away somewhere."

Aqio smiled gently. "More of a boyfriend really..." he would call him that for now. Better play the part of a doting lover. He paused. "I was looking for something akin to a hair tiara...something with a royal feel...he's..." the matorian blushed. "Special. Regal, in his own way..." he took out a slip of parchment. His mentor wrote down something for Bushi that explained Aqio's situation. He held it out to the merchant. "My father said to give this to you...his name's Orrio." A name most knew. If Bushi was the informant he was looking for this should be easier said than done...

"Ahhh, I see! Whatever makes one happy!" Bushi said, seeing no reason to speak ill of a person's choice when it came to love. Especially if that person was looking to buy something from him. Given that the Matorian was talking about something that had a 'royal' feel to it he said, "For something like that we would need to take a peek in the 'top shelf' goods." Bushi was about to turn to Aatos when the young man before him suddenly held a piece of parchment from him. He gave it a once over before he started to search through one of the packs hanging off the large turtle, "I see, Orrio is a man I've done business with in the past, a good customer. So you're a son to him? Interesting." Taking out a box he stepped over to Aqio, opening it up for Aqio to see and said, "Tell me, what is it that you need, other then pretty baubles to impress your regal love that is." While he had never had need of an assassin himself it was always a good idea to stay on good terms with them. He was sure that they could help each other out and end up parting on happy terms. Provided of course what the Matorian wanted was within Bushi's power at least.

Aqio smiled. "Foster Child...he took my twin and I in as children..." he spotted a flame spiral sort of hair clasp. His eyes focused on it. The band was thick, holes in the side made Aqio think of hair sticks that would hold fast. It was gold with a ruby set in the center, twin garnets on either side. A flat flame shaped plate decorated the band. Sticking up it gave a sort of tiara feel to it. "This one." he said ghosting his fingers over it. "As well as a set of hair sticks to go with it." he looked up to the merchant. "I need information." he pulled out a map and traced a outline of a area. "Do you know of a fast route between this point and this one?" he tapped two different locations. Not giving anything further. "How deep are you in the Guild's dealings?"

"That is a nice one. Hand made by yours truly so you can be assured that the quality is top notch! The ruby is also very special in that if you look at it in the light it has a star pattern across the surface." He told Aqio, ever impress with star rubies and their beauty. A shame that it was so hard to find them in bulk he thought to himself, though he supposed that was what made them beautiful and worth their price. Bushi picked up the decoration that the Matorian had picked out, holding onto it, and replaced the rest in back in Aatos's packs for safe keeping. He gave a smile as he looked through the packs and removed a cloth wrapped bundle of hair sticks. They seemed to be rather popular with the various ladies of Oba so he kept a good supply of them on hand. He unwrapped the bundle and showed them to Aqio, "There are various designs and colors to look at." As he looked them over he took the map that the other offered him, looking it over, and then said, "The fastest way? I'd say you seek out a friend of mine named Luis. She escorts travelers between different points on her speedy Xaraan if that is something that interests you?" He said, handing the map back. As he asked him about being 'deep' in the Guild's dealing he couldn't help but to laugh, "I am but a humble merchant, I can't say I am deep in their dealings at all. I work with them, sell to them, but that's about it."

Aqio took a mental note: The Merchant Luis, guide...okay that was a good start. He looked through the hair sticks. Picking out a pair that he felt suited the hair clasp. He thought over everything else. Getting a little frustrated with this apparent dead end. He already knew who was behind this, he already dealt with the assassin who posed as him...he had a grasp at a possible escape route for when he dealt with the main issue. What else besides a trinket to apologize to Shesha with was this man good for? The water male spend so much time thinking that he didn't see his Keldari, Colii slither up his hips to rest a lazy head on his shoulder. The beast looked to the merchant, then its master. Aqio absently reached up to pet the sly creature before pausing after one tap. "Do you know of the Beast Lord Parthlio?" perhaps this merchant could lead him to a few links?

Bushi watched as the boy went through the hair sticks while seemingly struggling with more then just the choice of which among them were the best. He tilted his head to one side in a thoughtful manner before he took back the rest of the hair sticks, wrapping them up, and returned them to Aatos as well. Once everything was back where it was he quoted a price to Aqio, "Unless you have something to trade that is. I am always up for possible trades." Always good to let customers know that because if there was a trade involved it meant something else for him to sell later. After a time the young man finally spoke up, asking him about Parthlio. He gave a nod of his head, "I'm sure that everyone is very aware of that one, yes. I've had a few dealings with him, a few times with those that work for him... OH! And with that son of his on a couple of occasions as well."

Did he have anything to trade? He tilted his head as he thought. Remebering that Colii had a old tailring that the keldari seemed to be rejecting lately. He pulled it out. The beast seemed uncaring as the assassin placed it down. "Would this help to cover a small part...I would have enough coin to pay off the rest..." Aha. Parthlio's son...Aqio blinked. That was a dangerous sort to go near. The youth was every bit as twisted as his father if not more so. There was a link that Aqio didn't think of...Parhtlio's son could be more than useful given how dangerous he was...a perfect link for Shesha to climb the ladder. If Aqio bargained with him right. "Thank you for the information..." now was there more for him to gather he wondered?

Bushi took the ring that was offered to him, giving it a close inspection. It wasn't too bad a ring but with a bit of fiddling on Bushi's part he felt that it would look good. A bit of etching and perhaps a jewel or two added for decoration, and it was sure to find a home fast. Giving a nod of his head he gave a price to the ring and how much it would cost Aqio with the ring. The ring was put in a specific bag, one that was meant for things he needed to work on when he had some down time. As he was thanked for the information he said, "It was nothing." It really wasn't. He'd merely shared a bit of advice with him and just said that he worked with the family that the Matorian showed so much interest in. Not a family that Bushi would want to get on the wrong side of but it wasn't as though he'd really said all that much about them. Enough so that he was sure he'd probably end up trading with them again some time in the future if they so chose it.

Aqio paid for the items, wrapping them in a soft sash he then stowed them away. Thinking about it. If this man was the well of information that he was led to believe he would have to probe for a different set of information. He hummed for a moment. "Bushi..." he seemed lost for words for a few moments. "Do you know of guards that I could...manipulate to detract attention if I manged to kick up a ruckus during a mission or two?" The youth was minding the fact that it seemed to be a slow day. Those who passed by didn't seem too concerned with what business a Matorian had with the Oban merchant.

Bushi lifted his gaze to glance around the area, then back to Aqio as he said, "I can't say that I am the sort that would know about guards like that! I will tell you that they are all quite hard working in fact! Take my friend Shion, he's got himself a wife and six children these days! He works quite hard to make ends me." He gave a little smile and a wink at Aqio. Surely the boy would get it, that Shion was the sort to work with when one wanted to pay a guard off. How else would he feed all his many kids after all? Crossing his arms over his chest he gave him a stern look and said, "Now if you plan to make a ruckus I would say to avoid doing so around a man named Jaide. He's a... as we call him a 'hero type' that was born far too late and kinda missed the war. He's on a mission to try to clean up the streets... and while that's pretty impossible given the way of Sulburi he still gets under foot. Just a word of warning to a young man wanting to 'make some noise' as it were."

Aqio nodded. Understanding the other's words. He glanced around as he looked back to the table. Seeing no guards he smiled a little to himself. There were two to keep in mind. Shion...big family man. Perhaps a few pouches here and there would help the guard like him a bit. He'd need a few guards on his side. Jaide...that was one to keep away from. He tapped a rather pretty collar. It would match majority of his outfits...maybe he could etch Shesha's name on the inside of it to show he belonged to someone. He tapped the space before it. "What about this?" It was a rather pretty silver piece, a few yellow topaz's were set in the band with rubies between them. He liked that the collar was shaped so that it went downward into a wide V, he could totally see majority of his favorite outfits matching nicely with this. He looked up to the merchant, fully prepared to pay full price for it. Colii slithered down to spot a ring that would fit nicely were he wanted it. The beast hissed while the tip of its tail tapped the item. Aqio sighed. "Really?"

Bushi gave a bit of a chuckle, "Now that, my Matorian friend, is something that could get you into a lot of hot water if people misunderstand." He said, looking the collar over before looking back at the one before him. While it was always a style to have such tight neck wear there was the implications that went along with it for someone like his Aqio. Things could get messy for him if anyone misunderstood or got up in arms about it. Giving a smile he said, "If you plan to wear it I'd be careful about who you wear it around so as not to make an even bigger scene then you might want." As the serpent set to begging for things he reached into Aatos's packs, digging around a moment, and got out a box that was full of rings to show to Aqio and his greedy pet, "You might want to look in here as well." They were flashy rings that might not be as expensive, so that he could placate the beast without spending a fortune on him. Especially since he was already buying gifts for his lover and having to hold back money to buy off Shion.
