So here's the idea:
You develop a time machine that can transport you to any moment in history; future or past. How exciting!
The downside? It has a 25% chance of malfunctioning, which means you're stuck in whatever time you choose to visit.
So: tell me what time you'd visit - and maybe why - and in your post roll a 4 sided dice.
A roll of 1 = the machine brakes on arrival. A roll of 2 - 4 = the machine works and after your sightseeing you return to the present safely.
Then post again and tell me what your trip through the vortex was like - or what you plan to do now you're stuck there Outlander style.
Have fun! And try not to mess too much with cause and effect...

I would build a time machine, go back to the day I made mistakes which makes things worse, and I would have a discussion with myself, advising him to think things through before coming to a conclusion, to avoid big mistakes, and avoid getting in trouble. Then go back to my present time.
