Spring was a time for new growth, when the gloom of winter was replaced by the vibrant and colorful blooms of flowers everywhere, when trees started growing their leaves again. It was also the time when Charice's favorite little gardening store started doing regular business again. Now that the weather was warming up, and the snow melted, it was time for her to begin work on her little garden again; flowers were the one thing she had always been passionate about for as long as she remembered, and Charice had always diligently taken care of that small space of hers. There were only a few things she needed, at least for today. Some seeds, of course, because that was the most important thing about having a garden to begin with, but also other things as well. New gardening hand tools, because hers had finally grown too dull or otherwise broken, and thus necessitated replacing. Gloves, of course, because she needed new ones... Charice also had picked up a pack of seed trays, as well as a small bag of potting soil; anything bigger would have to wait until she could get someone to drive her back, so she could load them into their car. Once her purchases were taken care of, Charice was on her way home, bags of gardening supplies in hand as she walked down the sidewalk towards the bus stop that would take her to where she lived. Her garden was always her favorite place to be, with the colorful blooms never failing to bring her joy, and Charice looked forward to getting to work on it in the coming days and weeks. Lost to her daydreams, Charice was oblivious to her general surroundings as she continued to walk, thinking about how much she hoped to one day open up a flower shop of her own. Wouldn't that be great?

Ember was trotting down the street having just come from lunch. She'd been fed a lovely bit of fish, licking her lips and thinking of Faust. There was very little of a dire nature on her mind, happy enough for the warm weather and bright sunshine. She would never turn down the chance to sunbathe. She was headed across the city toward a nice little spot she knew where a rock at the park baked in the sun all day and was warm enough for her to lay on.
That was, of course, until she spotted someone with potential to be awakened as a senshi. Her attention was immediately turned, doing a strange little turn on the sidewalk, switching directions to be able to follow the girl. With any luck, she would find herself alone to be able to talk to her and explain what was meant to happen and her place in the world. It was a hard thing to hear, she knew that, but it couldn't be helped.
She mewed, hoping to draw her attention in a normal way.

Charice didn't notice Ember at first, lost to her little fantasy world as usual, but eventually, the mewing caught her attention, and she looked down to see a very pretty cat following after her. "Oh, hello there, kitty!" she said, shuffling her bags around so she could kneel down to properly greet Ember, "You're a very pretty kitty, but I'm afraid I don't have any treats for you." Nuxaz feel free to join in whenever you feel the time is right! o/

Ember frowned, not wanting to be dismissed so easily. She was a cute cat, wasn't she? What was the point of being cute if she couldn't lure people away from the sidewalk to help them? She wound around the girl's legs, purring, trying to get her to follow. When that didn't work she went into an alley, out of sight, and yowled like she was being hurt, hoping the girl would come to her rescue.
She was not beyond using underhanded tactics to get what she wanted.

The pretty kitty left her, leaving Charice somewhat confused, but ultimately, it was probably because she didn't have any treats on her, she figured. Besides, the pretty kitty had to belong to someone, now didn't she? So she probably just went back home. That was, of course, until she heard the yowling coming from a nearby alleyway. Charice hadn't heard any dogs or anything along those lines, but had something (or someone) hurt the pretty kitty? Throwing all caution to the wind, Charice decided to check it out. "Oh no! Are you hurt, kitty?" she called out, entering the alleyway.

Stellerite had been out doing her rounds, sauntering along the streets in her boots and updated uniform. As much as she liked the shorts of her lieutenant stage, she appreciated the full length pants and the more practical shoes.
Sure, the lack of heels made it harder for her to play a proper damsel in distress, but they were much more useful when it came to the day to day, nitty grind of the her negaverse duties.
Coming across a cat, a cat with a star on it's head and a little girl she paid no attention to, a smile curled on the woman's lips.
"My, my, what do we have here?"

Well, that sped up her timeline quite a bit.
Ember frowned as they were joined by someone with a chaotic aura. She hadn't meant to endanger anyone but in a war, she supposed it couldn't be helped. Like Faust said, sometimes you have to be aggressive to get things done. She wasn't thrilled about the new sense of urgency, there was no way to ease the girl in now. She looked up and hissed at the intruder, trying to put the girl between herself and the Negaverse agent.
"Whatever you want here, walk away," she warned.
Of course that would likely lead to some freaking out. Talking cats usually did to people not prepared for them.
