Gem Location: Left eye
Appearance: Short, the height of a Ruby, but skinny as a pearl. Stibnite is built to be small, fast, and efficient. Her body is gray and her hair is short and fluffy. She isn't ashamed of her smallness, as it's very advantageous to her. She has very little "clothing" so that she has nothing that can get caught or dragged. Her gem is a sideways triangle pointing inward in her left eye. (I'll have a pic up eventually)
Personality: Spunky, blunt, and a tiny bit arrogant, Stibnite is very opinionated. She knows she's good at what she does and doesn't hesitate to show it, especially if someone makes fun of her small size. She hates seeing other gems fight needlessly, though she hides it. When she gets focused on something, she gets completely OCD about it and demands it be done perfectly, and demands perfection in everything she and the gems around her do and gets frustrated easily when it isn't done. Underneath this exterior though, she has a very soft and hurt interior, as she lost many good allies in the war and finds it hard to open up to other gems about it, though she would really love to. Secretly, she would also love to leave Homeworld and the Diamonds all together and find a new purpose, thinking maybe, just maybe, that Rose Quartz was onto something when she rebelled.
Alignment: Blue Diamond, formerly Pink
Abilities: -Speed; Stibnite's greatest weapon is her speed. She was built to be fast, making her difficult to catch and hard to hit.
-Accuracy; She has very sharp eyesight in her remaining eye and sharp judgment, and specializes in delivering not hard blows, but precise ones. Ones that can temporarily cripple or distract a gem so that bigger gems can go in for the final attack.
-Stealth; Being small, it's easy for her to hide in places other gems wouldn't be able to.
Weapon: Blowgun, which creates darts as she uses it. Her darts are usually only meant to be painful and distracting rather than actually damaging, but she can generate stronger ones to poof gems if she feels the need. However, she usually hesitates at the idea of poofing gems because of her war-filled past and doesn't like to use those if she doesn't have to.
Bio/History: Stibnite was once an assassin-like gem for Pink Diamond since before the Rebellion. When the Rebellion happened, she was partnered with a squad of other gems including a Clear Quartz gem with a mission to be her bodyguard or shield. They were meant to find and capture high-ranking rebellion gems, namely Rose Quartz. She was separated from her teammates, but managed to make it back to Homeworld safely, needless to say that mission was a failure. Secretly, she misses her allies and would love to tell someone, but speaking of the Rebellion is frowned on. Now, she's at the beck and call of Blue's higher court members, but will take up anything another gem asks for if she thinks she can accomplish it (and, if it's looked down on or illegal, get away with it) out of boredom and thrill-seeking.
She has a slight dislike of Era 2 Stibnites. Era 1 stibnites were made for sniping, item retrieval, and assassinations; dangerous missions requiring stealth and cunning rather than muscle. Due to corners being cut, in Era 2, Stibnites are made for recon and scouting; more for gathering information than retrieval. She knows it's not really the gems' fault, but can't help but feel slightly insulted.
Extra: -She doesn't know that the Clear she fought with is alive. She is very sure that "she" was shattered.
-She was offered her own Pearl once a very long time ago when Blue Diamond's higher lieutenants saw how strong she was. She's still contemplating the offer; she doesn't know what she wants in one and is also afraid of becoming attached to another gem.
-The only thing she hates about her height is when others call her "cute". That is a no bueno.
-She has never fused before in her life, and is terrified of the idea due to her fear of attachment.
-She is really bad at close combat. Corner her and she's as good as bubbled.
-IRL Stibnite is largely composed of lead, making it very toxic.
-Like my other gem OC, she is based on an IRL piece of Stibnite I own.
