charm speak -- the ability to convince someone to do something. it's manipulation few can ignore. it usually takes a full minute to resist, though supers with mental prowess tend to be quicker to resist. one can become immune to this through over-exposure, which is about ten activated commands. this ability does not work through recordings and, while the power itself can be mimicked, simply copying Alisia's voice won't work. she is also immune to her own commands/charm speak, but someone else using the copied power could try it.
illusions -- Alisia can focus on up to three people and create an illusion of medium size (10 yards, any direction). she can't alter an entire reality but she can create images and influence feelings or senses on people. for example, she make herself appear to fade into a swarm of butterflies or create the image of a personal thundercloud over someone, making them feel cold and wet. these illusions can only last for a few minutes (five posts maximum) and must be initiated with some motion or verbal trigger.

Alisia can't charm mental prowess based supers unless they genuinely don't think for themselves or personally believe in what Alisia is saying.
Alisia also can't coerce anyone into suicide.
Alisia can't create emotions out of nothing. She can convince someone to hate their mother if the target was already holding onto hate or anger to begin with. However, Alisia still has a powerful grasp of emotion and can ruin lives by utilizing it.
Charm commands last until the target is unconscious. Commands can't be received wjile unconscious or drugged.
➳ How do they act?
Alisia is a tad naive, believing people will eventually do what's best for the world/future. She is also over-confident since her charm speak lets her get away with a lot. She's a good liar, naturally, and tries to manipulate others often. However, those with strong enough will to resist or an immunity excite her, because it forces her to be more creative. If there's anything Alisia loves, it's a challenge. Alisia feels a natural inclination to help others as payback for her abilities. She tries to be empathetic and wants to see everything objectively, but her own agenda can overcome these better qualities if she feels its important enough. She has a snarky sense of humor and can be excessively flirty, which often divides people into loving her or hating her. Nothing a few choice words can fix, right?
➳ What's their backstory?
Alisia was born in Stockton, CA to William and Peony Knox. She was raised with her cousin by her side as if they were sisters since Alisia's aunt was unstable. Alisia and her cousin were best friends up until eighth grade, where her cousin decided that Alisia was baggage because she didn't want to go to a party to get wasted. Alisia told her cousin awful things and told her that she should just run away somewhere someone will care about her; that night, the SPD was flooded with frantic phone calls. That weekend, there was a giant manhunt for Alisia's cousin. She was never found.
In her parents trauma, Alisia found a bit of leeway in what she could do at home. Her newfound freedom led her to explore her city a little more on her own, even though she was just fifteen. She learned that her words had serious power and spent several months experimenting with just what she could get away with. She got too cocky about it one night since she had no idea her charm speak was finite. She asked her neighbor (Mr. Miller) to essentially serve her, but after her tenth request he stopped complying. Everything went south fast. Mr. Miller's son, abandoned after soccer practice due to Alisia's charm, was forced to walk home through gang territory. He was shot thirteen times for wearing his team's colors - blue, the opposing gang's - and found by Mr. Miller himself after he threw Alisia out of his house in a confused daze.
Mr. Miller approached the Knox household, angry about his son's tragic homicide and what he assumed was a drugging on Alisia's behalf. The Knox parents were still wallowing in their own sadness but believed Mr. Miller. Alisia used her charm speak on them, for the first time, and told them to kill their neighbor. Her parents complied, and buried him in the backyard at her discretion. She then forced them to forget all that night's events, and her cousin.
Life continued ~as normal~ for Alisia afterwards, but the case for her cousin was re-opened a week after she graduated high school. Once more she had to change the course of things with her speak, and had her parents help her pack and leave the city before fingers were pointed at her.
