It had been a few hours past since Evie's last mission which wasn't anything too particularly huge. She's been off doing rather small tasks, helping young children out with slightly inconvenient issues, escorting some who had to cross dangerous parts of the wilderness, and just fulfilling some missions for Sabertooth to make a little doe ray me. The day was still fairly young, though it was increasingly hot which only forced a bit of hardships pulling through such menial dry heat. She'd been forced to carry a water bottle, drinking from it off and on to keep her energy up and her dehydration down. The soldier entered the Bar sun, not for drinks considering she hadn't met the age requirement just yet, but the bar was some of the best places to retrieve information from secretly eaves dropping unsuspecting bystanders. Sometimes, this was the only way to get valid information as asking civilians only made them nervous, uncomfortable, and probably not want to answer someone with high authority. She'd go up to the front desk, ordering a water so she wouldn't end up sitting empty handed. Evie slid over towards a booth, pretending as if she was minding her own business. With ears open and her attention retracting to those around her, she listened for any vital pieces of information regarding all of the weird happenings, desiring some kind of information.

Most of the people nearby were speaking of menial matters, there family being a pain in the butt, things that happened throughout the day that truly surprised them. They were spouting useless information, Evie needed some kind of lead but she might not possibly get it, as much as she hated knowing there might not be any clear way of figuring things out. Sometimes, things were beyond ones control. She'd have to be patient about this matter, that was really the only way. She'd cross her legs under the table, sipping on her water while looking away from everyone else as to not come off as suspicious. A couple behind her starting asking there friend if they heard about the rumor spreading around where so many of the guilds were destroyed, and how it came to be that way was not yet revealed. This caught the soldiers attention faster than ever, listening in to the conversation rather quietly. Why would someone destroy guilds? Sure, there were competitiveness going around, but nothing extreme. Evie wanted to just run out and go check how Sabertooth was doing, but she forced herself to remain calm and stay a little longer in case some more information was dropped by more conversations around her. She just needed to sit and wait a while longer.

The longer Evie sat, the more uncomfortable the air grew and the more antsy she got in her seat, fidgeting a bit nervously. These people nearby, they were speaking of all the guilds. Something terrible had happened to them, she needed to at the very least check, knowing this crucial piece of information. If a war truly had fallen on these guilds, than it was safer to say there were clearly in trouble. The soldier began to pack up her things, returning the glass of water, and turning to rush out the door. Exiting, she'd look beyond the left side of the street, and than towards the right. Everything in the town right now..seemed peaceful. But with this information, the same might not be able to be said about the guilds. She couldn't check on the guild just yet, she was almost positive reinforcements down there would already be actively piecing it back together. For now, she would wait and hear if anymore residents were speaking of anything, she didn't wanna miss a single detail. She figured she didn't need to worry about her sister hanging around the guild in the wake of the attack, she was usually not around there for the most part. Though, if she didn't see her in the castle..she was going to get a stern sit down and talk with that girl..she never listened! That girl shouldn't be outside the castle walls with all this going on, and she didn't have time to waste looking for her. She waited; listening to other conversation very quietly and discreetly, and keeping others unaware.

A high pitch whine would echo down the streets, the beautiful purr of a motorcycle crying out. The bike didn't sound like it was slowing down and in fact came very close to mowing a poor distracted girl down had the rider not braked in time. It stopped abruptly going from a high velocity to zero, but it seemed to have lost all momentum magically. The blonde cyclist stared at the girl with mouth agape for a brief moment before whooping in celebration with outstretched arms. "Woooow! I almost flattened ya! That would've been bad" she chuckled. Circe climbed off her bike, giving it a quick look over before approaching the girl. "Sorry bout that! Most people move out the way before I get a chance to dodge them. Didn't expect you to be like a deer caught in a hunter's crosshairs! But you're okay, yeah?" the woman asked, looking the young lady over now much like she did her own vehicle. She stopped however when she saw her hand, a distinct marking of blue present. Grabbing hold of her right hand, the blonde got a good look of what was clearly the symbol of Sabertooth. "Oh! A Sabertooth Wizard?! Hmm..." Through the grapevine, she heard the wizard guilds had been attacked all of a sudden. Either way, she was a bit a ways from her home, wasn't she? The witch wondered what brought her to Crocus at this time, that is until she gasped dramatically in realization. "OH! Silly me! I'm Circe, by the way. Nice to meet ya!" she grinned, shaking the girl's held hand quite frantically.

Evie's attention, for the most part was spent eaves dropping, in fact she hadn't even noticed the sounds of a motorcycle roaring swiftly her way. Once the bike had gotten too close for comfort, however, she would notice as it cut off her listening in on others and instead focused on this biker girl. Evie didn't even have the time to properly react, as the motorcycle got as close to comfort as it'll ever be, finally stopping itself in its own tracks, almost magically. She barely had time to register the moment and whatever just happened into her mind, although the girl that got off her bike spoke her piece and that was enough to answer much of her questions, but not all. Evie didn't even know what to say, or what to think of this random act. This woman was driving her bike so dangerously, and took amusement to it. But, likewise, there were no causalities and she did manage to stop in time and apologize, so she dropped any anger. The Guard sighed, as the girl practically mocked her for failing to jump out of the way before being plowed into oblivion. "It's quite fine, you should be more mindful of people when driving..ahh never mind." She sighed, giving in on telling her how she should be watching out for pedestrians and yielding too. Nothing this girl shouldn't have already known. "I'm fine, are you okay as well? " Evie asked thoughtfully, she did want to make sure that she was alright as well, just in case she did something skidding to a stop so soon.

The Fiore guard merely stared in curiosity as the girl took her hand, and stared at the guild mark that bore on her hand and got pretty excited over spotting it. "Yeah." She spoke with a sweat drop, uncertain of how to respond to this brief excitement. That, and the cloud of worry hung over her mind like a dark cloud, as she really needed to know the state of Sabertooth caused from the attack which she had heard only mere rumors of, but believed to be true. Evie's hand was shook quite violently up and down really swiftly, barely managing to blink an eye. She heard the girls name, smiling in turn with the greeting. "It's nice to meet you too! You can call me Evie, or Eve if you like short." She said with a friendly smile, eyes beginning to wander a bit. This girl didn't seem to have any of her own guild markings, was she an independent mage? She had thought to ask the girl a simple question, though only hoped it did not turn the conversation awkward. "Just curious, have you heard any recent rumors lately?" Evie asked the girl, hoping to not scare her away. Sometimes she'd ask random citizens things that she desperately needed to know, and pretty much most others just ran. She only hoped this wouldn't happen again.

Circe was relieved that the girl was okay and was surprised the girl was also concerned about her well being. How kind and considerate of her! "Yes, yes! I'm fine. Stopping on a dime is what I do!" she laughed. After the guard introduced herself, the woman would finally release the girl's hand. "Evie? Eve? Hmm..." she contemplated her options, pressing her pointer finger to her lip. Anyone who knew Circe would know she didn't call anyone by their names. Instead, she came up with her own odd nicknames to call others. Even now, she was trying to come up with one for Evie, the trouble being that her name was short and similar to something she would come up with. She'd put it on the back burner for now; it was likely to come to her soon enough. Besides, Evie asked her a question about rumors which she could happily oblige. "It just so happens! I hear a lot of things through the grapevine in my profession. In fact-!" "Oi! I thought I heard you pulling up!" a booming voice interrupted. The bartender had stepped out when he heard the motorcycle and was now approaching the taller of two ladies. "Is it ready?" "Yes sir! I have your hair growth potion right here!" she blurted out, pulling the vial from her cleavage. "Not so loud! ...Thanks" the bartender sighed, taking the bottle from Circe and hurrying back inside. The witch hummed to herself before turning back to Evie. "What was I saying? Oh right! ...You want to know about the destruction of the guilds, right?" she asked, her tone being slightly more serious. It seemed the poor girl was uninformed on what all was happening, but she could fill her in a little. "I'm sorry, but...someone attacked the guilds and caused some serious damage. Some guilds even sustained...casualties... I have no idea who could be strong enough to pull something like this...but right now, the guilds are doing their best to recover. It seems Blue Pegasus received the most damage and losses, so they're looking for help where they can get it" the woman relayed with remorse tone in her voice. To have to be the bearer of bad news, especially to a kid. Circe didn't want to sugarcoat it, but it wasn't good. And then there was that other bit of tragic news she heard of just recently, but it didn't seem related. Of course she wasn't going to spread around more bitter news in the wake of this attack. People were already concerned as it was with everything going on. Still, the poor girl... The witch could probably feel what she was going through, having her own friends in the guilds. Hopefully they were okay, but she still wanted to check on everyone. And now that she finished her deliveries, she had ample time to do so! Circe would pat the girl on the shoulder, smiling as brightly as she could to try and lighten the conversation a little. "Hey, do you need a lift to your guild? You won't find faster transportation! Well, unless you can teleport, hee-hee!" Sabertooth would be her first stop of course to see her old friend Velimir and Hailey. They were tough, but it would still put her mind at ease to see them safe.

LOCATION ⇁ Bar sunxxxCOMPANY ⇁ CircexxxEMOTIONS ⇁ WorriedxxxTHOUGHTS ⇁ It's true..

Evie was glad to hear that Circe was alright, no injures from either sides, always a good thing to hear from her line of work. As the girl dropped her hand out of her grip, she seemed to be pondering deeply about her name it seemed, maybe a nickname? That or just something she wished to call her, maybe something easily remembered. "Eve is fine." She laughed awkwardly, unsure of how to properly react in the moment. Although, it seemed with her question being asked, her hard pressed thinking process ended abruptly for the moment. Finally, someone who didn't flee when questioned, and seemed actually glad to tell her all she knew. With whatever her job was, it seemed hearing rumors normally wasn't anything abnormal. Evie's eyes seemed to wander to the bartender as he came rushing out, pestering Circe for something. She was curious as to what he was asking her for, and the fact he was making it really suspicious with his trying to keep there voices down act. Needless to say, she needed not wait too long as Circe pulled out some kind of a potion from..a peculiar choice, and even pointed out it was for hair growth. The Fiore guard was assuming the man wished it to be secretive, as he probably felt embarrassed ordering such a thing. And really, who could blame him?

Evie would watch the bartender rushing inside, Circe getting that whole ordeal pushed out of the way so that they could talk about floating rumors. She had expected such grave news, but in the back of her mind she was certainly wishfully thinking it wasn't as bad as the rumors were making it seem. Circe explained her piece, telling her all she knew, and it was surely a lot to take in all at once. She was rather hopeful everyone caught in the attacks were alright, but she had to make sure! "So..it is true." She tried not to look worried with her line of work, it was never a positive thing having her worry and in turn, others feeling like they had to worry too. She always tried to avoid that, so it became a normal thing for her. "The attacker is unknown so far? Someone had to have been there during the attacks, hmm." Evie thought about it some, if she could at least get further in her investigation and get a name or something, she might be able to act with precision. Whomever attacked there homes were not going to get away with such actions, payment was in order. And a lesson to learn, that you do not mess with a guild, or you mess with everyone. "Thank you for relaying what you know, it is extremely helpful!" Evie spoke with an enlightening smile, she did not wish to deter the mood or worry the women.

She wanted to just rush out and help Blue pegasus right away, as they seemed to be direly needing assistance with the heaviest damage done. Hopefully, there were other guards already on that task, cleaning the mess up. What a terrible situation this was..and to all happen at the same time and same day. How could every guild witness an attack? It seemed unreal..almost impossible. Almost like someone was trying to buy time away from weary eyes, anyone whom might seek them out. Putting those thoughts aside, Evie had her own guild to check up on, it was her home after all, and so many members she couldn't stop worrying about. She only hoped they were all alright and unharmed, she needed to be sure. Circe offered a..very quick ride to Sabertooth, something she certainly couldn't deny desperately wishing for. "That would be great - if it's not too much trouble." She spoke with a smile, chuckling at her jokes. "Unfortunately no, I cannot teleport. That is very generous of you!" She felt a bit at unease getting on the motorcycle with a..well with no better word to use, crazy driver. But, it was her only choice to getting to Sabertooth quickly, so no time to waste!

The woman contemplated whether or not she should have told her about the guilds. But even if hearing about it upset her, didn't she have the right to know? These were her friends they were talking about, after all. As for the attacker, it seemed anyone who would have any information would be in the attack. Most guilds and their members had their hands busy at the moment, so perhaps that was why it hadn't come up yet. In any case, Evie seemed grateful to learn all she did from her, not that Circe felt she contributed much aside from passing. Ah well, so long as she was thankful, that's all that mattered! "No problem! And if you really want to get to the bottom of these attacks, you'll definitely need to talk to your guild. They have the most info out of everyone, I'm guessing" the blonde grinned, turning to her bike. Hopping on, she would rev up the engine to prepare for take off yet again. "So without further ado! Hop on, Vivi! I'll get you to Sabertooth faster than you can say 'Oh God, why is grass growing on my tongue!'. Heh. If you could only imagine how many times I've heard that one!" she laughed aloud. Far, far too many. As Evie approached, she would hold out her hand to help her onto the bike and wait until she was seated comfortably behind her. "Oh! Before we go, I'mma need you to wear this helmet! And don't forget to hold on tight! Like, grab onto my waist, but please don't pinch. My daughter drives me crazy when she does that" she huffed, handing the helmet to her passenger. Of course Circe didn't have a helmet for herself; why do that when she could feel the wind in her hair? Once Evie gave the word that she was ready, the witch would grin and quickly speed off toward the mountains of Sabertooth.

LOCATION ⇁ Bar sun to SabertoothxxxCOMPANY ⇁ CircexxxEMOTIONS ⇁ Kinda sorta nervousxxxTHOUGHTS ⇁ How fast ?
Sabertooth was a great place to head to next, in any case Evie had every intention of heading there earlier in the day, except she hadn't found a way to get there quickly until Circe had showed up. She was grateful for her happily obliging to give her a ride there, it would be much faster than running or looking for other fast transportation's. Evie would nod with a smirk as Circe explained if she required more information from the recent attacks, that it'd be best to first ask those in her guild who might have witnessed it firsthand. Of course, the only thing she worried about most was the safety and well being of the members. She wanted to make certain they were all unhurt, that was most important of all. "Yes, I'm certain everyone in the guild is also already trying to get to the bottom of things." Evie spoke in truth, whomever had done this was going to get the full revenge of Sabertooth, as well as all other effected guilds effective immediately. She had a prayer that the guild itself would still be in tact, and the members wellbeing was the most worrisome part of all. "Vivi?" Evie questioned in a low whisper but still audible enough to hear, was that like a nickname she had just recently given her or something? Shrugging all thoughts off, she moved closer to the vehicle, taking Circe's hand and plopping herself onto the metal bike. She had never actually ridden on top of one of these things, so it was all very much a new feeling to bear witness to. She couldn't help but wonder how fast she was suggesting? Certainly, Evie didn't wish to be flown off with incredible speed breaking air limits or something crazy like that. She accepted the helmet most gratefully, strapping it onto her head, atleast that made her feel safer about riding with her. "Thanks!" She grinned most happily, but noticed she herself wasn't wearing a helmet, was that her only one? Evie would do as suggested by her, keeping a tight grip onto her waist but trying to avoid her fingers from pinching her. "Shouldn't you be wearing a helmet too?" She questioned for the girls safety, and all thoughts running on whom her daughter was, just out of curiosity, something she always couldn't help.

All questions aside, Evie gave the thumbs up as she kept a tight hold onto Circe, not wanting to slip off. With that said and done, she held an even tighter grip the moment the motorcycle roared off, the feeling of speeding super quickly was a little more than nerving. Still, she held in there until they would arrive at the sabertooth guild.
