That's what you expect, right? He doesn't especially like people and, unlike many who make the same claim, he really can go without being around them. That being said, he probably doesn't hate being around people nearly as much as he claims. He'll certainly act like it's the bane of his existence, but he can mellow out and deal, for the most part. More than likely, though, he'd rather spend time with his pokemon, either training, traveling, playing cards, or board games, or putting together puzzles.
He's an intellectual kid, and reads often, studying languages and cultures, reading the news, playing games like sudoku and word searches for fun. He's defensive, and a bit of a brat, but he can have his good moments, sometimes, occasionally. He usually ends up regretting it one way or another, though. He just... needs time to grow... probably.
History: X Adder's parents are currently in the process of getting a divorce, which isn't really helping Adder's.... ness. His brother has given him grief for having an attitude about it, though; his parents have both tried their best, and they've handled it all very civilly. They didn't fight in front of the kids, they didn't fight over the kids, they didn't make bitter remarks or snipe at each other. It doesn't help that his mother was in a relationship with someone before the papers had even been started, though. Even with his parents separated for a few years, Adder's still having a hard time with it, and the soon-to-be-born half-brother hasn't helped. It did help convince his parents that maybe it would be a good idea to let him go off and do his own thing for a bit, though.
Nickname(s): "Addie", which he hates. Violently. Goals/Dreams: Completely fill the national Pokedex, save perhaps legendaries. Becoming fluent in several languages. At least five, is his goal. That being said, he'll push people's buttons, mess with them, joke around, be sarcastic, and practically ask to get punched at times, but he usually manages to talk the other person down from getting violent. Usually. He spends a lot of his time rappin' with Team Skull (literally), hanging out, and messing with the less intelligent ones for fun. For the most part, however, she just seems to be out to have fun, and enjoy doing whatever she does. She seems fully aware, and happy, of the fact that she's young, carefree, and unbound by responsibilities. She's soaking up her youth while she still can.

Name: Deniphiora Menora Chandran Gender: Female~ Height: 5'8" Age: 27 Birthday: 11/28 Home Town: Personality: XDeni, or Fi as she's also known (among countless other nicknames) is a pretty relaxed person. It's not impossible to irritate her, but it rarely gets under her skin, and usually she just finds a way to separate herself from anything that's rubbing her the wrong way. She's friendly, and seemingly open, but there's a side of her that's far more guarded than she lets on. She doesn't tend to do close relationships, friend or otherwise, and focuses a lot more on her music and other hobbies, than on hanging out and going to the movies with friends. She likes people, really, she even enjoys socializing, but she's also comfortable being by herself, and just having some quiet to work on a project. She's a good listener, likes helping, but protects herself by keeping her own personal details close to the chest.
History: XA lot of Fi's "friends" growing up thought she was rich, because her parents inherited a large house, and most of her hobbies were "trained practices", like violin. That wasn't really the case-- her parents worked to keep ahold of the family house, and had to pay out of pocket for her hobbies. It was never stressful, per se, but she was always grateful they were willing to let her pursue her interests, and as soon as she could work, she started a part time job to help pay for art supplies and the like. Given some health concerns, it took a very long time for her parents to be comfortable with her moving out, and even then, they all stayed in very close contact-- they were a close family in general, so Del didn't mind. That being said... it took even longer to convince them that her traveling was a good idea, but by that time, she had already made up her mind, and started making plans. She needed to... do things, to travel and see the world. It was important to her, more than ever, at that point, and with openness and curiosity, she set out with Chestor-- her Grookey, who had been with her long before it came time to start any "pokemon journey".

Goals/Dreams: Wouldn't it be great to perform on stage? It's a pipe dream, to be sure, but she enjoys playing her instruments even for herself, so it's not one that's devastating to lose. Still, she'd like to at least see the world, and it seems something that should be more than possible given how easy transportation has become these days. Especially with pokemon around.
Skills: Fi has spent years playing the piano, violin, guitar, and a few other minor instruments. She can paint alright, though she wouldn't consider herself particularly gifted on that-- it's more for fun, than anything. Similarly, she sketches to pass the time and capture moments, writes poetry and songs, and though she doesn't drink, she's... surprisingly good at mixing cocktails. It's weird.

Someone watching might have thought Adder was one of those thieves that seemed to so often, as of late, strike the labs. He was certainly acting sketchy enough, glancing around like he was, shoulders raised, his hat shadowing his face. He rolled his shoulders some and stuffed his hands under his arms as he crossed them over his chest. He didn’t really like this part… Not that he’d done it before, but just… interacting. With people. It was kind of annoying. He didn’t really want to have to try and make nice and put on manners and be polite just so he could get a pokemon.
But, that was exactly what he was going to have to do. His mom would kill him if she found out he’d been disrespectful to Professor Kukui while he was getting his starter. He dropped his arms, relenting, and knocked on the professors door. He waited a moment, then opened the door, poking his head in with a frown. “Professor? I’m here for a pokemon…” he called. He hoped he could get this done quickly…
