The Faron Province of Hyrule was the first to receive a name after the great Goddess Hylia's people began to settle the land. They named it after the guardian spirit Faron, who is named after the Goddess Farore. She imbued the area with lush greenery and powerful rivers. The wildlife here makes this province a must for ecologists and biologists, as well as being a great place to vacation. Its rivers are home to both species of Zora, however it should be noted that either will attack travelers (trespassers) indiscriminately (the Ocean Zoras will only stay their spears for the Royal Family or anyone known to be aligned with them; regular humans and Hylians should take caution). Because of these populations, the fishing industry is stable. Trade with other provinces is strong due to their speedy ships. Perhaps most importantly, a port town has formed around the location of the entrance to Termina.
