In recent time the Zora race has recovered enough in numbers to take back their original territory. This, of course, brought a small war, but the Zoras maintained throughout the campaign that this was their rightful home, that ever since they could remember they had been living there in the love of the Goddesses with their guardian Faron. Unable to tell otherwise, the Hylians agreed to negotiate on their behalf with the Deku. Today the Deku populations are still reeling, but the Zoras have extended their nation to include pieces of Eldin, once dominated by the Goron, into North Faron; part of the new agreement was to cut off the Zoras from controlling all Faron's major rivers, even as they transitioned into Ordona. Because of this, those Ordon sections of the rivers are crawling with tribes of River Zora. Be prepared to deal with them the hard way if you're not chartered by the Royal Family...
