Local police have been patiently awaiting the arrival of the wizards that responded to their request for help finding the whereabouts of two missing boys. Standing to attention, they greet the three Fairy Tail members with relief on their faces. Glad to have a notoriously powerful guild on their side, despite the rumours of destructive behaviour. The sheriff informs them of the situation in more detail than the poster provided, "Thank you for coming, we greatly appreciate it. As you know, we requested you to help us find four missing persons. Their names are Gretchen, Oscar, Jacob & Barney, all of them 17-years old, all from non-magic families. They were taken within 48 hours of each other and in al places they were reported to be last seen there were traces of magic energy in the area. That's why we needed help. Even if we find the people that took these kids, if they use magic, we're at an instant disadvantage without any wizards fighting on our side," he said, taking a breath before continuing, "When we asked around several people said there were a few strangers in the area claiming to just be tourists. Normally we wouldn't find that strange but no one ever saw them visiting any tourist points whilst they were here. They just wandered around town aimlessly for a few days and then disappeared," he said, "Anyway, we can give you all the help and back-up you need and we would like you to give us regular updates on your findings. Also, if you can, please try to bring in the culprits fairly unharmed. I'm aware that Fairy Tail has a strong sense of justice, but the law must take them for this to be a successful mission. Do you have any questions?" he asked.

Ok guys, as well as an exciting new job, this is a test for using the new battle system. An example battle will be posted on the battle rules before your fight begins for you to have a skim over to understand the basics in action.

You must first observe your targets and form a plan before eventually facing your opponents who will be 2 A-class wizards & 1 S-class. I will be matching people to their opponents during roleplay. This job only requires a posting order outside of battle. Once a fight begins between yourself and an opponent, it's a one-on-one unless you move on to help someone else after defeating your own opponent.

Grabbing a file from the desk, the Sheriff handed it to Alyssa, "Everything you need concerning profiles of the kids is in here: pictures, addresses, even school records," he explained, "They did all attend the same school and the three boys shared some classes but the girl had no contact with them in or out of the classroom. None of them were ever seen together apart than that and none of the parents recalled any of them being in each other's friend groups," he looked down at his feet, clearly feeling ashamed of their lack of leads. Concerning Katiki's question, the Sherif shook his head, "I can tell you now, we haven't had a missing persons report since 2009 but that was nowhere near as suspicious as this," he said, shaking his head.
"We never made it public that we were contacting the Magic Council. To be completely honest, we didn't expect to receive a reply so soon. We're a small town, barely a speck on the map," another officer chimed in, "We're eternally grateful you did come to us but don't worry, we won't let anyone know you're here. However, it's not often we have visitors so you'll need a cover story for now," he warned, knowing that it wouldn't be long before word of even more strangers got out.
The Sheriff grabbed another related file from the table, flicking through the pages, "There were three of them. We were given a basic descriptions by the hotel receptionist but it wasn't much to go on. Two men and a woman, all looked to be in their thirties. Both men had dark hair and the woman had red hair. No magic was seen being used though there were slight remnants of magic energy in their room they stayed in - nowhere near enough to confirm these people in particular used magic. They paid in cash but the hotel inserts its funds into the bank every Thursday which means even if the money had fingerprints on it, those notes and pennies could be anywhere by now," he sighed. The more information he gave, the more useless he felt. They barely had anything.

The Sheriff nodded to Katiki's request, "Of course," he replied, "You'll know anything new as soon as we do."
The officers all considered Kaya's question about the school, "We can request the footage from the school's CCTV if you would like?" the Sheriff suggested.
The officers smiled at the dragon slayers enthusiasm for catching the people who had potentially abducted the kids, "We would expect nothing less from members of Fairy Tail. Just be sure to hide your emblems and be careful with your questions. Try not to over-do it. I assure you we were thorough with the answers we have in that file so I would recommend going over what you feel we haven't looked for first." pausing for a moment, the officers considered Kaya's statement, "Their... scents?" one of them questioned.

Alyssa nodded in understanding, "I see, no worries, we don't have to talk about it. I know that if you need me you'll come to me so until the time you want to tell me, I won't pry," she said reassuringly. Katiki had mentioned bits and pieces about her life before Fairy Tail. As best friends it was obvious that Alyssa would know at least a few things, but nothing had ever been in full detail. Instead, she focused on the ice mage's question, "Yes," she confirmed, "We will be staying at..." she quickly flicked through the pages in the file again, "The Bavarian Lodge. Sounds nice."

Reaching the chalet-style hotel, requipping out of her armour on the journey, Alyssa sorted their booking, "Here goes my best acting skills," she muttered quietly before smiling at the receptionist, "Hello, I'd like to book two rooms, please. If you don't mind, could one of them be the room that those mysterious people stayed in before those kids were taken?" she asked, unsurprised that the receptionist would have such a shocked look on her face, "I guess I should explain myself," she began, "We're here because we heard there was an unsolved crime and did a bit of research on it. We're only amateurs but we're pretty confident we can crack this case!" she beamed, confident that the look the woman behind the desk was more confused than suspicious. She clearly had no problem as she handed over the keys to the two rooms and gave them permission to do as they wished since the police had scanned the room already, "Thank you!" she said cheerfully. Waiting until they were a good distance from the desk, Alyssa grinned at her two guild mates, "I think the English accent threw her off a bit. You guys aren't the only ones who like it," she giggled, "Let's settle in our own room before we do anything else and make a plan," she suggested, "I guess the basics would be writing a list of questions and figuring out what gaps we need to fill," she said, once again flicking through pages of the file once again, "What do you think we need to know about these potential suspects? And how on earth are we going to get these questions in without seeming like thorough professionals?"
