It all started with a couple of cheap adverts in the local & college papers. As much as Audrina liked flying solo on her adventures, it was starting to be a pain in the a** to lug all her gear around - not to mention the cost of gas. Plus, she had to admit, she was a little lonely and had yet to make any friends in her classes. She knew she couldn't be the only one interested in industrial ruin and the paranormal. So, she made a website of questionable quality, and peppered campus and downtown with the budget newspaper adverts and cheaply made flyers.

There it was, in all of it's stolen-from-google-image-search glory. She'd been meaning to take better pics on her adventures, but it was always tough to decide between the dowsing rods or the camera - and the rods usually won out. She refreshed the page a few times, then tentatively typed a welcome post. i came across ur ad in the newspaper and just had to check it out!! im jinxi but u can call me w/e idc
idk a lot about ghost hunting and stuff but exploring spoopy places is something i like to do!! im more into cryptids and im a cryptozoologist (self-proclaimed but who is checking lol i can tell u anything about bigfoot tho) but ghosts r just as cool!! i used to go exploring downtown and stuff before but had to stop because reasons lol
ive never done an irl meetup before is there something im supposed to bring??? because i cant cook unless it can be put in a microwave lol
i guess i can bring snacks??? if u guys like twinkies i guess
but yea this looks really cool and i hope a lot more ppl reply!!!

Hey!
DCU student here, desperate to meet up with people who are interested in the supernatural! I own a car if there is any need for a second one, but would ask people do not eat or smoke in it because my dad has a tendency to be a total tool at times.
On a side note, does anyone have any books on demonology that they care to trade? I think if I spend any more time around the occult section in the Libary people are gonna start talking...

Joseph had seen the ads going around. He wasn't exactly a believer in ghosts - despite experience with other forms of the supernatural, thank you so much war on chaos - but urban exploration was fun. And it might just be worth doing it with other people. So after some thought, he logged on and decided to check out the website.

i guess a bunch of dc is like, really haunted and stuff? i mean i don't know any places in particular but that's what i keep hearing. ive never actually gone ghost hunting before! i come from out of town where things are kind of weird and we look at ghosts and spirits and stuff differnetly? i just want to see if they're real. but i can like, grab snacks and stuff if people want something?
i'd like to meet up! i don't have a car but i am really good at getting around. i can get to the campus fast. is there a time?
kristen, i have a book or two but they're not about like christian demons? i don't think that's very politically correct sorry!! please don't take offense i don't know how else to say it

Somehow, an ad had caught Derek's attention for a variety of reasons, which would explain to an extent why he was now on this forum right now. A part of him was now also wondering as he stared at his screen if he would manage to remember the username he made for it from mental randomization as he began browsing the page of the thread there.
And then decidedly, he also ended up submitting a post.

kk so like....i can't give u any further proof a/b supernatural shnazzle u get me?? but i am 5000% up for this! here is my born&bred proof cause we alllllll went through this [Attached is a few candids of the snow bunnies from mid-December - one of them is better-focused than the others, and features a trio of the creatures trapped in a cat carrier. They're surprisingly well-taken, given use of a cellphone camera, and there is a blur of teal in the back of one of the shots - like someone's foot was caught just out of frame.] i PROMISE i have better pics than this but like....they kept trying to bite me??? It was kinda BS

Rayna had seen the ad in the local paper and had immediately torn the ad from the paper. It was tucked securely into her pocket for safe keeping. She knew that the missing segment might be commented on by her parents but Rayna felt a thrill of excitement that someone else had apparently wished to start something in the city. Rayna had yet to meet others that were interested and it looked like that was going to change.
Leaving the paper on the table Rayna went upstairs and started up her computer. Opening the internet Rayna typed in the URL and waited for the page to load. She scowled as she realized that a screen name was needed to proceed. Racking her mind the teen finally found a suitable handle and continued the login process.
Once signed in Rayna decided that she could always make an avatar later on for now she just wanted to post something.

I can't believe that someone else has done this. Kudos to you AudreySoSpooky. I'm currently deeply invested in all things paranormal and although I'm in high school I'd love to join up on outings. I don't have an issue getting to the DCU campus if need be but I'm really stoked to explore with others.

Alise wasn't a DCU student by any means, but she had seen the ad in the paper and had been excited. There were other people like her. Well, of course there were, but it wasn't as if her mom ever approved of her getting involved with them.
That was definitely about to change though.

Audrey decided to let it sit for a bit - and then started browsing imgur and totally forgot about it, until later the next day when she decided to hurriedly log in and try to make up for lost time.
