Okay I'll admit those lyrics need some work.
But That's not why I called you all here!

Some of you have already heard this, but I had this great idea of hosting our own little Zurg-themed Xmas forum event! The only problem is... I don't actually have any ideas for it, nor any knowledge about how to successfully host such an event. The only thing I have is the want to have it!

That's why I'm calling on you to help me brainstorm, my fellow Legionaries!

The artists in the guild could try to draw one thing each day?
Like... Little doodles or proper drawings. It'd be optional.
But it could be themed. Like, what the Legion do to celebrate?
-Flarn and the legionaries drinking and being merry-ish. (I'm not much of a christmas person. XD)
-Pictures of them giving gifts to each other?
-Putting up the tree?
-MISTLETOE!! >8D

You could look into doing Towns/flash based events running around with UFOs :3 it's a completely different user base and would be a lot of fun.

Art is always nice, how many days are we talking about?
It also might be nice to know which ones of us are artists, and whether or not these artists might be willing to draw every day.

I have a little idea for some art i could do though! I could make small uncolored drawings and use the RNG to do some sort of raffle. The winners would get the drawing that corresponds with the number they generated, and I'd finish them to give the winners the customized end result? Like for example I'd draw Santa Flarn holding an open bag of presents, and it's number was 2, and you used the RNG and got two, I'd finish up the drawing and have your head stick out of the bag! Stuff like that? I dunno I just came up with this xD

Well, it's not 100% Xmas, it's Zurgmas, which basically means you can twist and bend some stuff here and there, maybe even make up a new tradition!

oh there were just shadows of UFOs going around scanning people. People would make a triangle around the fountain lol. The UFOs would talk to folks. Then there would be lots of lag haha.

Generally our LabTech event threads consist of the following:

An intro post with an image explaining the theme with a little bit of humor and or story about the premise.

A rules post so people don't break them.

An actual history post if that is applicable, history of the LabTechs, etc. In this case The history of Flarn and his death/resurrection/exile whatever.

A contest post, if its going to have contests and the rules/details about them.

Possibly a post about the staff members.

Various other posts like costume ideas, art, whatnot if needed.

Though any of those could be removed or others added, just a base template for what we usually do.
