Once known as the "Baron of Bud" at the Azure Valley Academy, Amal has since changed his name to Miles and successfully attempted his GED. He had - and indeed still has - a great many connections and was unafraid of sharing the fact, though he's since grown a bit more close-mouthed. To him, there's nothing better than getting people to open up by plying them with a little green relaxation and unwinding with a clear mind and some junk food. He also finds getting high to be a great way to really immerse himself in a video game or horror movie, and it definitely makes him feel loose and awesome.

Anime, video games, TV shows, and comics - Miles lives for the finest of nerdy things. Any money not going to his herbal habit is spent on that new game, that new DVD set, or the coolest new gear - and he wants to be as up-to-date on these things as is possible. Miles gets really passionate about it; enjoying himself wholly in the enjoyment and procurement of his swag.

It's a hobby, it's a joy. That's right, this boy loiters for fun. He likes to stand outside of places with those "Do Not Loiter" and basically be as physically obnoxious as possible. He truly enjoys the annoyed looks of elderly men and women, the twitchy way people closer to his age look at him, and the endless irritation of the employees working wherever he has chosen to lollygag. Sometimes he can get someone to buy him beer or something, but most of the time he's just there to be an a*****e.

He might look like he's just spacing out, but Miles is really observant of the things around him. Watching people, situations, and things helps him get a feel for those who are like him, more relaxed with certain things, and lets him know who to avoid. Especially at parties. He doesn't like to party with uptight snobs. It also lets him know who he can hit up for cash if he's in a fix, or just a little something something to hold him over.

Social things are his jam. Parties, gatherings, even hanging out on eon one. He's a creature who likes to be around other people and tends to be welcoming to most. He tries not to judge based on looks, but personality. He's easy to get along with and willing to take someone under his wing even if he just met them. Miles likes to make lots of friends and throw parties and just be there.

To go with his social nature it helps he has a really magnetic personality. Miles tends to draw people in with a grin or a good joke. He seeks how drawn people are to him and does tend to take advantage of it. He's warm, welcoming, and willing to pass time doing pretty much anything.

He can get way too cocky and read people completely wrong. It's resulted in an a** kicking or two. Sometimes he gets cocky about the dumbest things. Or overly cocky about things like not getting caught skipping class to go smoke in the bathroom or remembering how many days of school he's skipped which more often than not gets him knocked down a peg or two. Still, he remains ego heavy.

He has no problem being crude in front of anyone. He'll say what he wants, when he wants, and it also shows how much he just doesn't care. He'll make a sexual joke in front of a church to an old lady if he thinks it's funny.

So, he spends his money on his herbal habit first, and then anime and things second. It's why he's currently staying with friends who pay the rent for him. All he really does is keep the herbs flowing so they can smoke too. He really has no idea how to prioritize things. When his parents kicked him out, they were hoping to teach him something when it came to learning the value of a dollar, but unfortunately it just didn't pan out that way. He'll order a bunch of food and then not eat it all and instead of actually saving it for later, he ends up throwing most of it away. He may keep one or two there but for the most part it's all in the trash.
