➳ What are their powers if they have any?
- User can create, shape and manipulate neon, a colorless, odorless, inert monatomic gas under standard conditions, but when under low pressure glows. He can alter his form into a form of glowing light and become incorporeal and quicker. Leaving temporary after images as he runs. This form makes him weightless and can practically run up walls. By increasing the density of it he can use it as blasts against opponents. He also can leave a neon sign like effect and uses this as a ‘signature’
➳ What are their weaknesses?
- despite being weightless he can’t fly. He can create a field and glide but fly is out. The after images though only lasting a second can make it near impossible to lose someone if they are following close to him. Neon is bright so stealth is a no go
➳ How do they act?
- He can come off as a hard a** and sometimes curmudgeonly. He can be brutally honest even to a fault and can seem grumpy but overall he's actually a decent guy. He's not a fan of others picking on people smaller and or weaker, but is willing to let a pair duke it out if they are evenly matched. He rather have someone be able to defend themselves then him having to defend them. He almost has too big of a sense of justice. If he hunts someone who's a killer he would be willing to kill them in return. He won't like it but he view it as necessary for justice.
➳ What's their backstory?
Vince had born shortly after the Chicago experiment. He received the effect from is mom genetically. His mom seemed to not be effected by the experiment herself. He was born into a rich religious family but he was far from religious. He like questioning things and poking holes in theories. This obviously caused problems with his parents. He ended up being quite the wild child. His parents knew little of him and what he would do. He was never caught for more than vandalism, which his family paid to have sweep under the rug. He learned of his powers when he ended up running with the wrong crowd. He ended up accidentally helping a drug deal. While he was a hellion he was still a good kid. He tried to stop it while they were in an alley lit only by neon business signs. A fight ensued and having no weapon Vince hid. Fearing for his life his power kicked in and he ended up absorbing the neon from the lights and gave him his light form. While he was surprised the other were terrified and tried to shoot him. He ended up shooting back and burning them. He escaped the scene and hid his powers from his family. Over the years he went to college and became a high school math teacher in his own town in the mid west. He spent non normal life time to practice his abilities and learn how to have his own body create the neon he used for his power. He moved to Chicago where he got a better teaching job and have been there for about a year and a half. Now he's itching to dish out some vigilante justice.
