Route 6 is a very short and thin route between Paniola Ranch and Heahea City. This route is a straight line with grass off to the side which got it the name "Straight Street". It also connects to Royal Avenue.
Pokemon Appearances:
-5 rp posts are required, then roll an 10-sided dice. This will determine the Pokemon that appears. In the next post, roll a 4-sided dice to determine level of the wild Pokemon. Only certain pokemon can ask for help. If you encounter one fo these pokemon and choose to activate the SOS system, it will cost you 1 encounter post per SOS pokemon summoned (max of three per battle). If Terrence was being completely honest, then route six was very short and very ordinary. There really wasn't anything special about this route, and honestly it looked like any other route you'd find in the other regions. That was actually the main reason why it was so easy to walk through this area quickly without anything stopping or slowing him down. He hummed a bit as he walked, Az tapping his cheek happily as he listened. Smiling, Terrence headed into the ranch and hoped to find the next egg.

Terrence walked into route six, and made his way back towards Heahea City. That was were he could get onto a boat and go towards the next island. Pursing his lips, he looked around a bit more. Again, there honestly wasn't anything really all that special about it. However, that didn't mean that he didn't feel anything. Terrence was sure that even though it was plain you could do a lot her. He murmured something about hide and seek, and something about always losing cause his parents would cry out worried when he disappeared. It was funny at the time. With that, he left route six and entered the city.

The city held little interest for him right now; for some reason, he wanted to see something much different from his recent surroundings, so he continued past on the way towards Paniola Ranch. He had asked at the resort's front desk for where to go for a walk, and it was one place she had suggested for a visit. Having never been to one before, Takumi wasn't really sure what to expect.

A sudden thought struck him. Takumi steered over to where Nala and Hauhani were walking. He plucked the snow white fox up in his arms. "Ahhh..." Her fur was cool to the touch and instantly soothing in the heat. As a bonus, she did not seem to mind the grime of dirt and sweat on his hands and arms. In fact, she leaned into it. He marveled at her fur, and thought to himself with amusement that he could rely on her in the summer and Nala in the winter so he would always be comfortable.

Route 6. Honestly, Sullivan was proud of the time he was making. It’d be a couple of weeks since he started his journey and barring the ‘exciting’ incident of that man and the Sharpedos, he’d been making excellent headway with the island trials and challenges.
It helped that travel didn’t take that long between areas. The benefits of living on a series of islands as opposed to a massive continent. Of course, that meant a lot of boat rides too which was the bane of any sea sick voyager. So, it was a good thing he didn’t suffer from that.
Along the way he’d released Ulani again, the little Emolga stationed on his shoulder again as they walked. She seemed a little crestfallen from fainting earlier, but Sullivan spent the time distracting her with sign language. Or rather, attempting to teach her some. As they strolled through the route, he was going through each sign for the alphabet, taking his time to see if she could form each of them. Which, for a clear majority of the signs, was difficult. Having only three little fingers made anything not involving a fist or at minimum two fingers very odd.
She was trying though and he couldn’t help chucking as she pushed both her little hands together to make up for the lack if digits for some of the sign. It was humorous; both her make shift gestures and cheers of triumph when she felt she’d accomplished them. She was trying, he had to give her that.

With Ulani focused on trying to perfect the first five letters of the alphabet in sign, Sullivan focused ahead. He still had Flygon to meet and couldn’t help but be excited about it. But he was waiting until they got to the next area where they’d train for a bit before introducing himself.
Fishing out his pokedex, Sullivan did an overview of his team and tactics. Sure, sure training was great but he wanted to be prepared. They were heading for Wela Volcano Park; it’d been a few months since he’d paid that place a visit. Built around an active volcano, it was where Kiawe was and the trip up was harsh.
Climbing a mountain was hard. Climbing a volcano, a little harder. Climbing an active volcano? Something only a crazy islander would do on a sunny day out of boredom. Sure, there were paths wrapped around the mountain to make it easier and help avoid the vicious pits of lava that happened to pocket and radiate in select areas. It didn’t stop the heat (that was sweltering) but it made it… safer?
Lava hurt. Like, he assumed it hurt. But then again people were hugging Magcargos without spontaneously combusting so maybe…

It was probably better not to think too hard about that kind of thing; it might inspire children (or individuals of lesser intelligence) to test their resilience against lava. Not that he could… voice such a suggestion (he could write it though, he supposed, or sign for those who understood) but instead, he’d just keep it to himself.
Which meant back to the matter at hand. Shuffling through the data, he looked over everyone he currently had. It was your boring standard fanfare, with species information, move sets, typing and the like. Useful to know really, in both battle and medical terms and enlightening. Nothing other trainers didn’t know about. He scrolled and got to Flygon’s information, observing it with interest. It was strong already, which was great and it’d prove to be a good secondary for the next challenge. Which meant, with Kairi and the Flygon, he’d be set!

Adder's thoughts got him through route 5 without him realizing it, and he was a good way onto Route 6 before he pulled out of them and bothered to look around. His eyes scanned, narrowing slightly, and his hand flexed a bit as he took everything in. Hopefully Royal.... Avenue, was it? Royal something, was close by. He was getting kind of tired, and hungry, and he could feel Cling twisting on his wrist. Any excuse to get the pokemon to let go, even for long enough to eat would be reassuring. He reached up and removed the pokemon he could, at least, pulling Pikachu from his shoulder, and setting the mouse down. "Cha?" The mouse pokemon looked up with round eyes, surprised, but paused only a moment before scampering after its trainer.

Hardly paying his own pokemon much mind, and instead drawing himself into the gnawing hunger in his belly, Adder proceeded on. He still had some distance to cover, but he was caught in the frenzy of thoughts and feelings and stubborn short and long term goals, so he wasn't deterred by the distance. He wasn't even aware of the set of brilliant blue eyes gazing up at him. The Klow -- dubbed "Cling" by the boy, which was ridiculous, in his opinion, but he wasn't up for arguing it -- had been watching him readily, still harshly judging the child's sharp attitude. He didn't seem to have a lot of room for sympathy in his heart, or even consideration, or fun. It was utterly bizarre. If he wasn't storming around, stomping and throwing a tantrum, he was shoving his nose so far into a book it was a wonder it hadn't turned black with ink. Perhaps he was a hopeless case, after all.... Not that that was really a reason to let go.

Leaving the city, Mel looked around curiously. They were here as a sort of vacation, but admittedly, she hadn't actually managed to explore the islands all that much. She blinked when one of her pokeballs snapped open, and... Conglomerate, of all the pokemon, popped out. The eggs were jostling about, one looking irritated, another worried, and another bumping into the fourth constantly as it excitedly hopped up and down, peering around as if looking for something. She raised an eyebrow at the pokemon, but slowly turned her attention back to her device, to try and look up information on the next gym. Biting her lip, Mel absently wandered about the route while she did her research, Brian watching her out of the corner of his eye. This really wasn't her forte-- research, planning, laying things out in front of her. She could do it, but she wasn't good at it. She was much better at thinking and acting on her feet, responding to a situation right in front of her, and taking charge. It was actually funny, how different the sides of her personality could be, but no one knew her better than Brian. And that was probably why he worried so much; he knew how quickly she could lose her confidence, or stubbornly get in over her head, or lose perspective or hand over trust. He tried to balance it out, but they weren't exactly always together, even if it sure seemed like it to most people.
Sweeping his focus away, he frowned, noticing that her exeggcute seemed to be hounding the bushes, chattering and chittering as if searching for something. What were they all worked up about...?

Twisting and keeping his grip tight, Cling settled back in. Adder was still thoroughly caught up in his own thoughts, though he jumped and nearly fell backwards as a small puff appeared before him. "Cseou!" The pokemon gave a happy, high pitched cry, and Adder grimaced, shoving it away. That chiming cry made his ears hurt. "How many times do I have to--""Cseou!" Adder's voice caught in his throat as the pokemon bobbed up, turned-- and sped off. The teen's jaw dropped open as, for one terrifying moment, he watched his helpless legendary go flying off-- before finally, he took off, sprinting after it, and into the approaching city.

Squinting, Brian dared to take a step closer to the clattering pokemon. Brow furrowing, he turned his head, but kept his attention focused. "Hey... Mel?" he called over, raising his voice so she would hopefully hear him over her own mutterings. There was a bit of a delay, then a "Hm?" Another pause as he waited for her to actually shift her focus, and he could hear her approaching. "What is it, Bri?" she asked, a frown to her voice. He straightened, gesturing at the pokemon that were battering at the bush now, almost violently. "I think something's up with your pokemon..." Turning her gaze to them, Mel frowned, her brow creasing with uneasy concern. "Ah... yeah... I think you... may be right," she remarked uncertainly. Suddenly, she was reminded of Brian's comment on pokemon disobeying her, and come to think of it, she hadn't really used, or even interacted much, with Conglomerate. In fact, she only knew its name because Z had told it to her....

Just as Mel seemed to be steeling her resolve, and readying to stride over, the pokemon all suddenly tumbled back, scattering, or at least as much as such closely bound pokemon could. They always seemed to draw as close as possible to each other, almost as if magnetized, but for once, they made a little semi-circle, still close, but with just enough distance between them for Mel and Brian to easily make out what they were surrounding. It was.... another exeggcute. It was broken, it's yoke visible, but it seemed fine, bounding happily. Mel blinked as all the pokemon chattered and clamored together and, slowly, reached for her pokedex. Once she had it in hand, she quickly pulled it up, scanning exeggcute, and then looking at the picture. There were supposed to be six. The missing one was smaller, and despite the mangled appearance (which was apparently normal), she hadn't even noticed it was missing from the group. She stared, eyes wide, as the unit bobbed and danced. This whole time... It hadn't been complete? It had been missing a member of... what? Exeggcute was a single pokemon, wasn't it? But it was composed of six eggs. Six individual eggs. And one had been missing all this while...
Mel's surprise only grew as the group continued bouncing, and started to glow as they did. Her grip loosened on the pokedex, but didn't quite drop, and Lucy bounded over from where she'd been curiously exploring to investigate what was going on. Before their eyes, the light grew, larger and larger, and taller. Mel and Brian's gaze lifted as a form developed behind the light, and when it faded, they found themselves dwarfed by a large, tropical tree version... and very colorful... exeggutor.
