Seriously though, I never thought Manes and Malices would become such a prominent things lol

Anywho, That needs to be flushed out, so this is where I will do that.

THINGS DECIDE

Meta's souls have a small hole in them, enough that a spirit can hide within it. They attach to the Meta Soul like a parasite.

Manes and Malice can only happen in Toddler or Child stage. After that, the hole in the Meta's soul closes up and the spirit cannot enter.

Once a spirit attaches, they are bound together. A new spirit cannot occupy that space (not at the same time, not if they left or are gone even after child stage)

Once the Mane/Malice leaves the host body, it cannot return inside the host.

When a Mane/Malice leaves the host, (gets own body or is gone forever), their voice is still with the voice. This is not a connection to the Mane/Malice but merely echoes of the impression they left on the host.

HOW CAN THEY SEPARATE?
Option 1: The spirit is forcibly removed and is gone forever.
Option 2: The spirit fulfills its goal for why it lingered (needs mod approval) MANES ONLY?
Option 3: The spirit gain enough power to completely take over the host and the original spirit dies/is gone forever.

-QUESTION- If the spirit takes over the host, what about the item? Will have two items? Soul Item and Meta Item?
ANSWER- HOST ITEM IS USED FOR IF THE SPIRIT TAKES OVER HOST & SPIRIT ITEM IS USED FOR IF THE SPIRIT GETS ITS OWN BODY

Okay, so the Metas I'm bringing over are:

Sally and Wereloc

Shiro and Sparrow

And

Percy and Angry

They were all gotten in the same event, and all of them came with Malices. Yes, I had to make a ton of characters and journals right out of the gate. That was a FUN day XD

Anyway, so the changes I was hoping to make are:

Sally managed to - with lots of help - get rid of her Malice. However, he was forced out in a very traumatic way (of some sort?) and, though he doesn't remain, she still has to deal with remnants of him and his bullying in her mind... that is, carnivorous urges and such. I'll be tweaking her powers to fit the poisoned candy motif, but she might have been twisted by his cruel, bullying influence.

Shiro and Sparrow managed to separate. Shiro would have only his powers, and Sparrow would exist as a completely separate entity with her own body. She and Shiro had an agreement/she loves him, and between that and their twisted partnership thing, that could be part of what allowed her to get her own body. I would definitely want her as a character, with art.

Angry influenced his host to the point where he was able to basically assimilate her, so at this point, he has taken over Percy's body and mind completely. Percy no longer exists as a person. Is it possible to have a Malice with a Fallen's body? How would that work for her Sparrow powers and his Vengeful soul?

Okay, thank you so much for your patience, a decision has been come with about flushed out stories about how manes and malices work.

Sally's story is acceptable. Did you have a specific story for how the Malice was split from the host Meta? The remnants of their voice is actually very common occurence especially if the spirit was really strong or was joined for a long time. The spirit is gone, but the "echoes" will remain. This can also happen if the Malice/Mane gains their own body. Just as a side note.

Shiro/Sparrow. This is also acceptable. The host meta aided in the spirit getting their own body which is a good reason how they got the new body. The "echoes" may still happen if they are farther apart. If you give me the info, I can definitely add it to my list and get something drawn up for the spirit.

Angry. This one was a doozy, there had actually never been a case like this before and thusfore it had never been discussed what would happen in this actually happened. In the case of a Malice taking complete control, the Malice would have the body. And nothing changes physically about the body. So it is possible for a Malice to have a Fallen's body. The catch being that the Malice will keep the meta's item, and powers that they'd had. Nothing changes.

The "spirit item" is for the most part not an actual item but a placeholder as the item is their actual soul. When the spirit separates to obtain their own body, the soul becomes the offer as the meta item.

I also wanted to add one snidbit not addressed. Aside from a meta's powers (as outlined by the power limitations), Meta's that have a spirit can actually add one extra power to their list. This the spirit's power, so this power will be stronger when the spirit is in control, but can still be used by the host meta. If the spirit separates to become it's own person, they will have powers completely separate from the previous host (as outlined by the power limitations)/(one of those has to include the shared power.). The host meta also keeps that shared power but it will remain at the level it was at when the separation occured.

If the spirit is forcibly separated and disposed of, the host meta can still keep the shared power, though it will remain at the level it was at when the separation occured.
