Shiro's journal is a beautiful brown booklet bound in green velvet. Inside, the writing is very neat, except for the margins which are chaotic and read as a shopping list.

Meta name: Shiro Species: Elf Gender: Male Item: Axe Stage: Teen Personality: Shiro is a quiet soul. Though he isn't wealthy and doesn't dress ostentatiously, he has an air of quiet, stony nobility. This nobility is his robe, scepter, and crown, though he would never wear such things. To him, true nobility is not draping yourself with gaudy things and gorging yourself on fine foods... its accepting the humbleness of your surroundings with the same gravity as one would accept a palatial estate. He is grateful for what is offered to him, he is grateful for what he has. Of course, he does believe he deserves what he has and what people give him. He believes he deserves more, even, than that. He feels he is deserving of some respect and tribute. This is one thing he and Sparrow agree on: he deserves more than he gets. The key difference is that he sits straight and tall, and accepts what is given. He has a less calm side. Sometimes people... or Sparrow... Drive him up a wall and he snaps out of frustration. He can be haughty. He can be angry. He can sound a little spoiled. But ultimately, he is a prince of the woodlands- a rugged, wild nobleman in simple clothes. This is who he feels he is, who he sees himself to be.
Malice Name: Sparrow Malice Item: Greedy Soul Malice Personality: Sparrow is a possessive, greedy lady who is never satisfied with what she has. She wants endlessly more and more and more, until there is no more left to give. She could be described as a leech... she's certainly clingy enough. Unlike other malices, she doesn't want to kill her host. Goodness no! She wants him all to herself. She wants to make him hers in every possible way. He is her handsome prince. She may have started out hating him, but he won her heart. She loves him. If anything, she wants a body of her own so they can finally! Be! Together! Surely, he must have that same idea! Of course he does! She'll kill anybody that says otherwise and eventually he'll see things her way. She'll kill anybody that stands in her way. He will be hers. HERS. So yeah. She's clingy, leechy, obsessive, ungrateful... She's one crazy b***h.

Active Powers
L5 / Chop- Basic Melee weapon attack ability
(Channelling his item's ability, Shiro can turn his hand into an axe-blade) Shiro can turn the edge of his hand into the edge of an axelike blade (retaining dexterity and such). He can chop with it by bringing his hand down in a Karate chop. This ability may be turned on and off and is of unlimited duration. Currently it can only be activated on his dominant (left) hand.
L5 / Woodland Sense- Nature/Life Sensing ability, Direction sense ability. Woodland Specific.
(In a woodland setting, Shiro simply KNOWS where he is and how to get where he's going. This is a woodland specific extension of a Lifesense ability which is active everywhere, but is at its most effective in a living setting such as the woods or a jungle) Shiro is able to sense lifeforms larger than bacteria within 30 feet of him. He may not necessarily have a concious idea of what they are, but he does know how large they are. This is a telepathic ability and, in a life-filled area such as a woodland, He subconciously uses it to help navigate. In a woodland, bog, or jungle area (basically someplace with a large root system and a lot of natural life) he can find his way to a specific location and does not get lost.
L5 / Golden Apple- Desire/Lust inspiring power for an object. Chaos causing/Distraction ability
(Sparrow power: summons a golden apple (or other object) that draws attention.) Sparrow(or shiro) summons a golden item (usually an apple) that inspires envy, lust, and desire in opponents. Depending on the effectiveness of the mental attack (half number of dice, rounded down attack) a range of responses can occur- from barely resisting the urge to pick it up, to momentary need and distraction, to turning against an ally and fighting each other, to any other appropriate response. (The effectiveness and what happens is entirely up to the opponent/their player).
L4 / Plant Speech- Plant speaking ability
(Shiro can Talk to plants) Shiro has an instinctive (but improvable) ability to tell the health of plants and how they are 'feeling' by looking at them and touching them. He cannot identify plants without training. Shiro can speak verbally (or nonverbally) to plants, and they can understand him to an extent of below-normal-levels of conversation (IE, simple concepts). He can also recieve responses, usually feelings or simple concepts, not words, from the plants.
L4/ Grow- Plant summoning power/healing
(Although Shiro isnt specifically a plant meta, he is able to cultivate plants to an extent) Shiro, though touching, singing, and otherwise interacting with a seedling, will allow this plant to grow healthy and strong. His interaction and attention can allow it to grow to about twice the size of a usual plant of that species. If he exerts his actual power, he can accellerate the plants growth, though he must water it and feed it as it will take up nutrients quickly. This power is not yet fast enough to be a weapon- its on a matter of weeks and days not minutes and hours. In addition, he may summon into his hand a single seed from a plant native to the area. The power can also be used to heal at half effectiveness.
L3 / Toughness- Damage Absorbing/ignoring ability
(Shiro is a sturdy young elf and does not take as much damage as one would expect.) Shiro takes 1 less damage from ALL incoming attacks. This is a passive ability that includes physical, mental, and elemental, even attacks he is weak against.

L0 / Summoning Jealousy- Can use, once, the summon power of another meta. Future Power Plotting
Chop will later be activatable on both hands, and later on both feet as well. He will have to learn to use this effectively. Later he will also be able to summon an actual axe, which may be more effective.
Woodland sense will improve in range and specificity. He will soon be able to gauge vague emotions, health, and such.
Plant speech power will eventually allow him to tell individual plants from each other, communicate fully, and basically be KING OF THE FOREST!!! With plant command, anyway
Toughness will improve by one per level
Resistances Earth based attacks- Shiro is very sturdy and resistant to changes even in the ground below Plant-based attacks- HE IS THE PRINCE OF THE FOREST YOU PEASANT did you think that plants would harm him?!
Weaknesses Fire- He's flammable. Temptation- He and sparrow find it difficult to resist things they want. Both Shiro and Sparrow are, However, immune to their Golden Apple power (which will hold true for Shiro even if Sparrow is no longer with him)
Shiro has been through many homes, from toddlerhood to childhood and into his teens. Always, he was taken in by a loving household, always they sent him back to the Meta Academy. Why? He would eat them out of house and home. Or spend them out of house and home. Whatever. Either way, he would drain their resources.
Every time he felt grateful for something, Sparrow would insist that he deserved more. That THEY deserved more. A new pair of shoes, perhaps. Or an earring. Or another plate of food. And always she would convince him. His last family sent him back to the academy, which decided to just keep him there as it was expensive shipping him off to families only for those families to send him back... all on their dime. So now, he resents Sparrow... and himself. Because it was all at least partially his fault. Sparrow, for her part, loves him no matter what he does. She rarely takes the reigns... only when she needs to kill off someone without him knowing. She would rather he not know about these things. She might well have been an angel during the war. She doesn't remember those parts. What she does remember is a love lost in death, and another lost to a rival. She is in love again, and she will not have her prince taken from her by some... other.
We've come to an agreement... He agrees with me! I believe it will be mutually beneficial for Sparrow to aquire her own body. As a spiritual being known as a 'Malice', she has no form of her own and so must use mine... If I am understanding it correctly. Her use of my body has caused me great frustration and discomfort as well as, apparently, a huge drain on my clothes purchases. I did wonder why so many of my good clothes went missing... Sorry! I didn't want you to know! I had to get rid of them somehow and I didn't know if it could be taken out. Sparrow: This is a journal entry and a contract. Not a conversation. Sorry! Anyway, I am certain that the situation that we have found ourselves in is not pleasant for Sparrow either. Nope! And so I have deemed it mutually beneficial for Sparrow and myself to join forces in order for her to attain the power necessary to exit my body and lead a solitary existance. Which should be soon, I hope! Yes. The terms of this agreement, specifically, are as follows:
Since there is likely to be fighting involved in this path to power, especially as it involves killing, We will share the body and act as one. I will handle the physical and defensive maneuvers, while Sparrow... ... Will handle all the cool powers! ... Yes. This means that in terms of punching, dodging, chopping, running, and jumping, as well as observation and evasive maneuvers fall under my perview... ... Ooo, ooo, And I get to make plants do things and do my apple thing, right? ... I must admit We have very few powers at our disposal. I think I should amend this. Attacks are under Sparrow's perview, defense and evasion is mine... since she is not the most tactical young lady in the world. ? Nothing you need to worry about. Anyway, this decision was made in a back alley while covered in blood. I hope that next time I am called upon to broker a deal, it will be in less obnoxious surroundings. Perhaps on a tree trunk in the deepest area of the woods, or a throne made of skulls... No, skulls are so messy! I think that would be nice. I didn't get to kill as many people as I would have liked... Dare I ask how many? ... 3 might have been nice. ... Part of our agreement is that Sparrow cut down on her killings and be far more careful with my body. I have no wish to be caught. Fiiiine
Earlier it was mentioned that an 'event' was coming that would give Sparrow the power needed to separate herself from me. It was implied that fighting would be necessary due to...? I can't tell you. But there's gonna be metas involved. ...Considering that most other metas have a wider array of damaging powers than I myself do, as well as defensive and healing powers, I think perhaps I should be careful and observe my classmates. We. My apologies. We should observe our classmates and friends and try to see whether... WE are doing this TOGETHER Shiro you PROMISED We are doing this together. Calm down. I did not forget. As I was saying we will need to scout this out and think strategically about how to defeat those more powerful than ourselves... Who cares about strategy? Strategy is boring. I want to kill people and I want my own body. Who cares about plans??? I do. Now. We should also find other malices. Sparrow... That's easy! I know a Malice when I sense one. Mane's too! ...Right. I do not think that we should trust other's in a similar situation. We don't know how competitive removal and the finding of a body is, and if it comes down to a fight over freedom such as that, I would rather not lose because I didn't know my enemy.
