Over a course of several days towards late March, Olympia has broken her retirement to form her own group of superhumans she believes can remind the world what it means to be a hero.

As of Thursday, Olympia surprised the world by arriving in front of City Hall sporting a new design for her costume. With support from the mayor, she would explain: “I believe there is an evil in this world, one that adapts, that thrives on ignorance and inaction. I hung up the cape up a dozen years ago, and I didn’t doubt that this great nation could maintain this peace for a time. However, I can no longer sit idle as those who’d seek to abuse their powers bring about misery and death to my city, and threaten the people that I care about. I say to all of you—and not just those among you with powers—to help your fellow man in their time of need.” For a few moments, she let those words settle, before resuming. “I may not be as young as I used to be, but my resolve has never been stronger. And to quote the father of supermen himself: ‘When the world needs me, I will be there to defend those cannot defend themselves.’ If evil comes knocking at our door, I will answer the call.”
That was two days ago. Just yesterday afternoon, she’d managed to stop an ensuing gang shootout simply by arriving. It made the headlines when she descended from the sky, only for the two rival gangs to raise their hands in surrender. While she was pleased to put a dent in gang activity, what she’d really been watching for is supervillains. Supposedly, there’d been a bank robbery that escalated into various crimes by two in particular; she intended to put a stop to it when they reared their heads.
In the meantime, she stood stoic atop Sears Tower (also known as Willis Tower), waiting patiently as the sun began to set over the Chicago skyline. It was a beautiful sight, really, and it was a shame that the night was the cue for criminals to go about their misdeeds under the cover of dark. Still, she couldn’t help but get nostalgic over standing over her favorite spot again.

====================== He had quite the interesting days of events. The male arrived to Chicago a few days after the death of a famous hero. He probably would have been there a bit sooner, but both cities if not the world shared one thing in common: criminals. Male found himself dealing with a thief who was capable of causing people to see things that weren't really there. Good thing his mind helped root it out, huh?
He finally arrives to Chicago and an airport incident occurs. Change that fact. Chicago was in a threat altogether. That was when he made his first full appearance, the male presently looking at his phone over the news outlets buzzing about his reemergence to save several lives, but just as he appeared to fight this Devil, he was gone again. Would the SIA still be on the lookout for him?
"Lovely weather we're having"
his tone was to the figure before him, though whether she knew he was there until now was beyond him. He was by all accounts floating in the air after all, gazing like she was presently doing.
He wore an attire covered by a black hoodie or some kind of fabric. Either way, one could feel they were staring into the depths of space underneath it, an teal aura glowing around his being like a presence from out of the depths of space itself.
"I got your message about cleaning the city up. I'm all ears."

While she did, in fact, hear him approaching, there was no reason to be alarmed. It wasn’t anything particularly new that someone flew by her, but it had certainly been a while since it last happened, especially with someone clothed. “I never got the chance to thank you. I wouldn’t have been able to survive that alone, you know,” she said, before looking back at the sunset. “I just can’t help but be worried that a day may come when a threat like that comes along and no one will come to stop them. If you’re willing, I would like your help to put together a team. After all, the world could always use more heroes.” As of recent reports, two supervillains had robbed a bank together. If villains clustered up like this, what hope would a single hero have against overwhelming odds?

====================== Saturday, March 24th, 2012 - 7:37 PM
A chance to thank him? That certainly felt like a first in a long while, granted the male had a tendency to never stay somewhere for long, in his costume at least. This was probably one of those rare occurrences. His destination was in Chicago after all and he finally arrived.
"No need" he stated. "I haven't had a need for such a thing to do what's right. Sides, I really haven't had a need to just stay around once something was done."
Maybe leaving the scene after saving the day did have it's quirks after all. Gave him a sense of humbleness in place where he thought he was lacking. Either case, there was a reason why he appeared. Perhaps a bit of slight nostalgia sparking within his youthful body? He never did anything major, the exception being the recent incident, but still something had to be done. If people could just get away with things without order, how soon would the world last?
He shrugged, Maybe it was time to give himself a bit more credit? He did have better control this time around."I could try my hand at it a bit more. Sides...I have some questions that need answering in this city."
He was the grandchild of the original after all. He needed to delve not just for ways to keep himself in check, but to also find those responsible and bring them to justice. That was if the Lord hadn't already delivered his own form of justice unto them. His boots landed on the ground softly, the male standing firmly just in case he did lose his balance after hovering in the air a bit. That feeling took some getting used to since for the most part, he often walked to avoid being seen.
"So are there others who feel the same way?"

The sun began to set off in the distance of the Chicago skyline. The natural orange light lit the highest part of the buildings while down below, the structures were soon to be hidden in the night-time sky. The heroic public figure couldn't have picked a better time to call upon the able heroes willing to combat the evil opposition as one powerful force. Blake Worthington followed the news of the super community often, especially when in recent days the amount of villainous crime seemed to spike exponentially. The groundbreaking news of Olympia stepping back into the suit and recruiting a plethora of heroes would surely reach the intended audience, and of course the audience that would seek to dismantle the creation of any sort of team before it had even begun.
Although that was the point of bringing them all together, he assumed. To fight the battles that they all couldn't realistically do alone as one entity. He couldn't help but respect the ideals which is what brought him to Willis Tower at the time of night requested by the superheroine. His footsteps and movements were inaudible to those without the aid of enhanced hearing as he would tread along the rooftop, bright white eyes glancing back and forth behind a shrouded dark hood between Olympia and another figure as he approached. It was somewhat nerve racking that he had never met most if not all other supers who knew of Silent Knight, perhaps even personally. While he was in no way pretending to be the previous iteration, he felt as though he had a lot to live up to by stepping in their shoes. He'd stand quietly close by, letting his arrival do most of the talking. Aligned slightly with the growing shadows of the night-time sky, it wasn't hard to make out the not so subtle nod towards the man and Olympia as he too now awaited the arrival of more supers to answer the call.

While it wasn't in his usual routine to watch the news, it was a good thing he'd been watching. This was usually the time he'd be headed out as 'Mr Invincible' doing his due diligence to keep the people of Chicago safe so they could sleep without worry at night. But tonight was different. How? Well on the news there was an old hero announcing their coming out of retirement to help lower crime in the city. It was more than good news to hear because the heroes who'd been fighting the good fight had been fighting a losing battle. More and more people with abilities were showing up and they weren't using their powers for good. That broadcast was two days ago. Tonight Jon planned on meeting Olympia to discuss her overall vision to ensure that the city they cherished stayed afloat against the ever rising evil.
Standing in his apartment now he'd finish dressing into costume. The yellow cape draping to his heels as he started for his window and to the skies. As he took to the sky, he could feel the cool breeze brush against his face. The wind gave him a calm and serene feeling as he flew through the sky. When there weren't crimes being committed the city was beautiful at night. It wasn't long until he too made it to the gathering committee or so it seemed to look like atop Sears Tower. Seemingly he wasn't the only one who came to speak with Olympia. Slowly he made his descent to the building where the three of them'd been. His boots became firmly planted on the roof of the Tower, the young hero's eyes becoming fixated on the legend in front of him. He almost thought about bowing but decided against that. He respected Olympia very much having done research on her just as he'd done the original Mr. Invincible. Jon figured she probably knew the original Mr. Invincible so he didn't know how she would react to him.
"So are there others who feel the same way?"
Still in his eyes, the world needed a 'Mr. Invincible'. "There are," Jon says, looking at the male who asked the question. His super-hearing was the reason he'd heard the question but it would probably come off as questionable to the other. "I hope I'm not late."

Whatever answers the telekinetic was searching for, she hoped he’d find them. While she was preparing an answer, two more arrived punctually, the successors. “Your timing isn’t bad at all. I was just about to explain.” After all, there was no need to ostracize someone who voluntarily came at her behest.
“You three have likely seen it yourselves: people abusing their powers for selfish gains. I’m sad to say the crime rate has spiked dramatically in the previous year up to this point, and all this chaos is giving criminals the distractions they need to go about their illegal activities. What happened at the park occurred concurrently with two robberies and a breakout at a local penitentiary. We simply cannot expect law enforcement to be there every moment, otherwise we wouldn’t have taken justice into our own hands.” Of course, that last bit was plain to see. With all that was going on, they couldn’t expect everyone to drop their careers and register for law enforcement just to defend others, not that she didn’t respect law enforcement.
“I propose regular meetings, established patrols, active recruitment, all efforts dedicated to making sure the people of this city can feel safe again. We have our own lives, but each of you has displayed a selflessness to put yourself in harm’s way for someone else. If we appear unified, we can discourage criminals.”

"So, what—we'd be like some league of supers?" Jon asks, speaking up first from the group. Of course Olympia's plan sounded good in theory. All plans do. But just like Rome, what she was proposing couldn't be done overnight. Not that she implied that either. It'd take more than just dedication and everyone would have parts they needed to play to ensure certain things were prevented. Events like that bank situation which occurred not too long ago. But, he also weighed the cons of them banding together. Villains would begin doing the same, not like they already haven't been as is. It was a lot to think about and process but he was sure of his answer.
Stepping forward some ahead of the two others he stood alongside with he gives a small smile. "I'm in. This city deserves better, to be more, than what it's been coming to."

Klayko ====================== Saturday, March 24th, 2012 - 7:38 PM
He rubbed the stubble on his chin.
"Well...they aren't idiots. They see unity from us, it will likely create the same goal for them. Something a bit bigger than just the bank robbing duo. Still..."
Weighing in the options weren't bad. How many had been killed by working alone? There were stories of heroes appearing slain in large openings with crucifixes etched on their foreheads. Someone was killing them because they took the matter to stand up rather than run away from certain situations. Here, Ferek had the slight habit to run. Truth be told, he was getting a bit bored of roaming around the area. Chicago was his goal for now, so maybe it was time for others to see him a bit more.
"I do agree to this union. It should start small though, like with us. Branch out to others when we can and hope they aren't the enemy with some hidden agenda."

Susan nodded, agreeing with their observations. “I suppose it’s better we organize sooner rather than later. I’m naturally concerned that our very presence may challenge criminals to improve, but it could be argued that they would do so either way while we waited. We won’t make that mistake.” Better they band together and strengthen before their enemies did. “Seeking out new members, despite my appreciation for voluntary joining, should be decided carefully among us. As you said, Captain, we cannot always be sure who may possess a hidden agenda. We can, however, take heed when we seek others out.” They would do the best they could, but for the moment, the four would suffice. Later members needed to be evaluated and discussed carefully.
“If we’re to gather into a league of our own, I believe it wouldn’t be out of the question to discuss a base of operations.” While they had the liberty of ascending to that particularly building’s roof, a place of their own wouldn’t have hurt. “Evidently, we cannot host every meeting here. I will contribute to the funding, naturally.” After all, given her endorsements, she had a great deal of money, and her continuing relevance and popularity could be used for a benevolent purpose. Likewise, as they exhibit their services, this would only improve.

It was at this moment that Blake often wished he could step out of the boundaries of wanting to represent the previous Silent Knight by speaking up a bit, adding to the conversation at hand. Something held him back from saying really anything though, passively making it known that he was listening by nodding, nodding more, and nodding just a little more. They all made very good points on the matter. Building together a system like this was no easy task, as much as most of them probably wished it was. Together they could do great things that they couldn't necessarily do alone but that meant working out the more obvious kinks.
With everyone present seemingly on board with the idea, Blake made the others aware that he was still mentally present by stepping forward some with a more apparent nod. Sure enough they would require the numbers of many others to tag along on such a crusade, a journey for another day perhaps but it would get done inevitably. At the consideration of acquiring funds for the cause, he had no doubts in his mind that his sister would jump at the chance to assist the formation of a super team like this one. That was the type of person she was, always interested and enthused when it came to fighting the good fight. He couldn't have asked for a better support as far as he was concerned.

Olympia wasn't exactly hard to find after her call to the heroes, a group of people atop Sears Tower kinda sticks out. Brooke really would've preferred they had been somewhere easier to get to so that she wouldn't have to use her powers again. Unfortunately her powered up form was the one everyone had seen in Millennium Park. Taking a deep breath as she looked up once more at Sears Tower before her body and hair began to glow neon blue again allowing her to left off the ground and shoot up from the alley way towards the gathered heroes. "Sorry for being late Lady Olympia, but I'm Atomic Bombshell at your service." Brooke spoke with a smile not exactly sure what else to say. After all her mother had never done the hero thing and her grandmother talked only about fighting crime with her sister; this left the young hero many questions on how is she supposed to join other heroes. "And sorry but most of you I don't recognize, but if you're here I'm sure you are great heroes too." dream as if you'll ( live ) forever

As Olympia finished up, the group listened quietly. With silence growing by the second it wasn't until a new arrival broke it. This time a female by the name of 'Atomic Bombshell'. He greeted her with a nod then turned his attention fully back on Olympia. "Sounds like a plan. I'll do my part in recruitment. When will be the next time we meet?"

That was good. Clearly they were the rookies compared to someone like Olympia, but they -arguably- had a better hand in crime fighting compared to a few that were beginning to surface. Tragic it took this long for someone to eventually gather a group of heroes to counter the recent surge of crime rates. The recent arrival, one of which he recently witnessed during Blue Devil's onslaught. He merely nodded at her.
"Worry not Bombshell. I'm certain we will all learn to get to know each other in due time."Now the idea of having a building was the obvious choice. In that instant, the teal aura that surrounded his body turned orange, a newspaper floating through the air, pages being flipped through just for him to get a general idea of spaces needing to either be bought for personal creation or already buildings with vacant spaces. "Funding is probably never an issue he continued. "Though, it's probably best to invest in two or three places. One, for the outside public appearance of course and the other two clearly for us to conduct our own personal affairs outside of public eye. Maybe the first could even be grounds for us to effectively weed out potential hostiles."
