Personality: compassionate, shy, optimistic
Malea was born quiet. Her large eyes always looked inquisitive, but she would barely make a fuss. Even growing up she seldom had friends, and would barely squeak by in her day to day life, keeping to herself and watching life from afar. When she was just a baby her parents moved to the larger town of Salicora, wanting their daughter to be protected, but their overzealous ideas of protection has created problems with even simple things like play dates and making friends, not wanting anything to happen to Malea, not even a scrape. Now that she is older she is able to voice her opinions to her parents, but is still quite intimidated with the idea of meeting new people.

Amoe is full of herself to say the least. If she wants to do something, she's going to do it regardless of who gets in her way. And gods forbid if someone tells her she can't, that'll not only push her to doing it faster and perhaps much more haphazardly, but with the full fury of her attitude to boot. And don't think that she'll forget to rub it in their face when she proves them wrong. (If she proves them wrong.)
Amoe hears about something new and interesting, and her ears are fully perked, waiting for the next drop of information, and gathering together some plan to go out and find whatever it is that's new, whether it be a fun spot for exploring, new materials for gathering, whatever the case may be.
She's a spitfire, but also open and ready to make friends. She'll accept anyone, regardless of where they came from, who they know, etc. As long as they give her the credit she thinks she's due, she has no qualms making and keeping the friends around her, and will share probably way too much to keep the conversation comfortable for the other person.

Personality: stubborn, loyal, systematic
Etana is the type of person to always think they are right, though that may or may not be based on facts. She follows her gut, with a bits of her education peppered in here and there to really round out her ideas, and she is willing to defend her opinions and her choices with a stubborn vivacity.
Because most of her decisions in life are based on her gut feelings, her relationships with others follow the same stubbornness and insistence that make her opinions. Anyone she determines is a friend becomes a lifelong bond and she will stick her neck out through thick and thin to protect and support them. Though that’s not to say she’s blinded by what they might do. If they slight her, or do something she finds herself morally opposed to, she’ll try to see their side of things, understand why they chose to do it, but if she can’t understand it, her feelings of being right and just in cutting off that bond can come just as quick.
Her daily life is best described as systematic, and her perfectionist nature has her doing things in a precise fashion. Her bed is always made, her room is always kept, her habits and schedule are typically the same, and upheavals to it can upset and frustrate her to no end. She likes order, and she likes to understand things, so surprises are not her style, and her softer side can come out when she is emotionally distraught.
She is prone to sensitive fits of crying (though she tries to keep those only to herself) when upset and she is not above emotionally lashing out at someone who has done something hurtful towards her.
