Shesha gave a bit of a smirk as he gave a swing of the magical staff in his hands, summoning up a twisting swirl of wind. Once it was swirling he summoned forth some water globes, tossing them against the swirling wind, and much to his delight it worked in the way he'd hoped for, making it rained down on him. This was probably the best part of his magic, the fact that he was able to make his own hand made rain. It didn't really last all that long, nor did it cool him off as much as he wished it would, but it wasn't too bad.

As the rain died down, followed by the swirling wind, he said, "Now to figure out how to make that last longer." He muttered, pleased with the spell but still disappointed that it lasted a minimal amount of time. Ah well, no matter it had cooled him off and allowed him to continue with his training. What to work on next? Hmm... he supposed he could try to practice again with the ice based spells? Those were likely the hardest one to accomplish in Oba given the weather, but it was at east worth the attempt. If he was able to accomplish summon ice then he would really be able to cool himself off!

As it was the most he could do was gather his hair up into a messy bun on the top of his head and shrug out of the top half of his robes, wearing the robe as a makeshift skirt instead. Lifting his staff up he set to work summoning the power he was going to need for the ice spell, certain that it was going to take a lot more power then even the dual spell that he used to create his rain.

A rather furious veil clad water male swiftly stomped through the back alley's. Abie had returned home with a rather shocking piece of news. Their old master had acosted him while he was training, Borqet had him. The large whelp HAD THE MONSTER. Right where Aqio wanted him. Yet, his twin. The one that monster marred for the rest of his life...had let him live. Abie could of taken it. The chance was right. There. He let out a frustrated near scream as he stopped to gather himself. He left the house without his head veil, so his hair was without decoration and flowing around to his hips. His sole braid draped itself down his front flipping this way and that as Aqio paced to calm his nerves.

His overall appearance was rather...alluring. Most of his heavier outer layers were gone as he had been relaxing at home. So, all he wore was a veil skirt which showed off the fact that he wore shorts underneath, his boots were silent as he paced, his half shirt was loose enough that one could start to imagine him without it. He was without any body paint whatsoever. If one didn't know who he was by his signature outfit, then one might not be able to tell who he was.

He could be heard breathing deeply as he paced, muttering. "Its alright."

Shesha turned slowly to look toward the sound of someone making a bit of noise in the alleyway nearby. At first the mage didn't see anyone worth noting, quickly deciding that it was more then likely just some peasant or drunk that was wandering around being a bother to those in the nicer part of town. Sure, this place he was staying presently wasn't like Lady Alhana's place but it was better then some he thought to himself, giving a glance around the yard before turning back to the spell that was working on. He was fine to completely ignore the sounds, feeling that it wasn't anything worth looking into.

Back to the ice spell he thought to himself, wanting to focus on what he was working on here and now instead of putting his efforts into worry about strangers. They were most definitely not worth his time since it wasn't as though some random drunk was going to help him get a step up in life... unless of course the drunk was some amazingly rich lord looking for a personal mage... but what were the odds of that? Not very good, so he was better off focusing on his magic training. It wasn't until the imp sitting on his shoulder gave him a little nudge in the cheek that he looked toward first Amanita, then toward the direction the imp was pointing.

"Hm?" He looked toward a Matorian in a rather revealing get up, starring for a moment, before turning back to his work and said simply, "You on a job, little fish?"

Aqio jumped pretty badly when the sudden voice crashed his thoughts. He blinked then looked down at his current state of dress. The youth let out a long sigh before leaning on the small half wall fence that separated them at the moment. Shesha would look back to see that the water male was rather...upset. Aqio had to keep breathing deeply to resist the urge to ramble.

"Abie...had a run in with our former master." the youth said slowly and with great pacing. "The monster hit my brother..." he drummed his fingers on the fence before jumping up and sitting on the wall. "Borqet lept to my brother's defense...that's one of the whelps Abie is training. Abie bled. Borqet had the monster right where I wanted him. He could of---"Aqio breathed out slowly. "That...thing put my brother and I through hell...he marred my brother for life. I couldn't protect Abie then...but I can now. I just..." he lowered his head into his hands. "I want the nightmares to stop." it was a whimper.

Aqio felt foolish. Shesha didn't care about him, he cared more for himself. He would wait for the other's reaction before he left. He didn't think that the male would even pity him...

When it came to 'former master' talk Shesha couldn't say that he was all that interested, mostly because the ones that Abie would be complaining about were those that were from Oba, those that Shesha wanted so badly to emulate, those who were rich enough to have slaves back when such things were allowed. He really couldn't say that he cared when Aqio spoke of his brother meeting with the guy again... though maybe it was half because he didn't know Abie and therefore had no investment in him like he did Aqio? Not that he cared about Aqio of course he reminded himself quickly.

Turning to look toward him as he continued to complain he starred for a long moment, then gave a lazy shrug of one shoulder before he said, "So?" He gave a long suffering sigh as he planted the butt of his magical staff against the ground, leaning into it, and said, "One would think you would be elated. Your 'darling brother' doesn't get his hands dirty and you get to carve the guy up later. It should be win, win, little fish."

Aqio's body jolted in surprise as he looked up. Did Shesha just...did he just comfort him?!? No. That couldn't be...he looked down at his lap blinking in mild confusion. "Your right...even if Abie killing him was more poetic justice...its not a kill I want my brother to stain himself with." he glanced to the prezi male. "That sounded an awful like you trying to comfort me by the way." he pointed out bluntly.

Then Shesha was granted with something that was rare. A genuine smile on the water male, given he was without any markings to take away from his natural beauty...yeah. He made a alluring sight indeed. "Hope that won't be habit. One would think an ambitious mage like yourself was going soft." he tilted his head. "So..what new spell were you trying to preform?"

"Sorry for interrupting that, by the by." he added as he realized a little late that he did indeed disrupt the other.

Shesha starred at Aqio for a long moment before he gave a snort, turning away, "You would think that but I did nothing of the sort. I just see no reason why you should cry about such things. You're going to be an assassin, right? As such you shouldn't let others kill steal even if he is related to you." Lifting a hand up he waved it in the air in a dismissive manner, not liking the fact that Aqio was trying to imply that he was being nice when that wasn't true! He just didn't feel like dealing with a child's tears, that was all! What a bother! This was why he shouldn't do anything that might even appear to some as nice because then they would start thinking he was nice and that wasn't the case. He was selfish and self serving, he had no reason to be nice to others, especially one that might attempt to kill him one day.

Turning away from Aqio smiled at him he said, "I am far from soft, Aqio. I will do whatever it takes to get to where I want, please don't think otherwise or you will just end up disappointed." Never again he thought to himself as he lifted his staff and returned to what he was doing, only giving Aqio a momentary glance as he asked about his casting.

Sighing again he looked forward and said, "I am working on the most difficult spell possible given where we are. I figure doing that is better then being lazy and trying to do only the easiest of spells." He said as he finalized the spell and caused a shard of ice to appear in the air, floating before him. He looked it over, taking in the size of it. Not as good as one might hope for and it was all on its lonesome, but at least he'd summoned it forth? Ice in Oba, it really was a miracle of magic he thought to himself before he sent it flying, allowing it to stick into the ground between Aqio's feet.

Aqio glanced down at the ice shard, eyes glittering with a semi-deadly sparkle. "That looks fun. I can't wait to see you preform a feat very few mages in Oba can boast about." at least from what he saw of those that came near his Mentor. They saw no real value in 'wasting magic' on something like ice or snow. As he watched the other male for a little while longer he tilted his head. "Shesha...they want me to leave to further training..."

He wanted to see the male's reaction to the statement.

Shesha gave a smirk, "Of course! Nobody ever becomes well known and desired by piddling around doing nothing. One has to be the best of the best if they want to get recognized for their greatness." Something that meant everything to Shesha. He was going to become a master mage and he was going to show everyone in Oba that he was meant to be among the higher ups even if he wasn't born into such a world. It was his destiny and the Gods and Goddesses would see him reach his rightful perch one day.

As Aqio spoke up again he walked over to where he was standing next to him, "Hm? I suppose that makes sense. You are going to really get anywhere if you just sit still." He said, waving a hand in a lazy manner. Giving a smile he said, "I thank you for the warning though. I like to keep tabs on your skills after all." Best to know what he might end up going again one day after all.

Aqio chuckled as he leaned back on the fence. Glad that he wore the shorts as he didn't feel up to showing off everything to Shesha, yet. He had every plan laid out to seek the other out to be his employer as they got older. Perhaps it would fall into place and he could enact his plans early. The mage was going to be useful in his own way to the rookie assassin. Though...Aqio would admit there were...other reasons. Though, he hadn't explored those reasons too deep on a psychical level, mentally he reached his realization through his meditation.

He'd keep it to himself for now. "Best of luck. I hope to see you rise, maybe even help."

Shesha watched Aqio for a moment before he moved to lean against the other side of the fence, so that the two of them were back to back with only the fence between them. Not that it kept Shesha from leaning against the Matorian, using him as a warm wall to rest on. He looked up at the sky as he did so, giving a little humming sound as the other wished him the 'best of luck' before saying that he hoped to see him rise, maybe even wanted to help.

It really was something that made him chuckle a little, as though amused by the fact that Aqio was saying that he might want to help him in his rise to power. He really was a weird one, wasn't he? One moment complaining about Obans while also wanting to possibly give himself to another one. Weird, weird fish he thought to himself before he said, "Isn't this supposed to be the point where you say that you would never serve another Oban Master as long as you live and possibly threaten me with something sharp? You're really strange, little fish."

Aqio blinked as he shrugged. "You didn't have the same start as the monster did. He was given his title and all the power that came with it. You." he turned to look the Oban in the eye. "Your going to earn it. While you might have a questionable character...your goal is one that many wish for. You just have the guts to go after it." he said with a small smile. "Besides, I'd have more pride in serving a Employer with whose grounds I was familiar with."

He knew what links he could make to help Shesha in due time. He already had started laying out the ground work for a solid network. A few good lackeys.

"Who knows? Maybe I will come into power and become the greatest tyrant that Oba has ever seen... one that has a well trained assassin at his beck and call. Wouldn't that be an interesting twist to this story?" He really had no idea how it would go one way or the other but it was an amusing thought to be sure. The idea that he would become a grand tyrant... it was something that he could always become depending on how things went. He supposed that they really wouldn't know until the time came if he would be a benevolent sort or a monster in his own right. It all depended on how the journey went he supposed.

Shifting himself he leaned his staff against the fence before resting his hands on it, leaning in close to Aqio, "You know I kept writing you off as a threat, Aqio. As someone that would appear one day to bury a knife between my ribs, but now I am starting to think that maybe you have a thing for me. Foolish little fish... you really shouldn't get a crush on your employer, it will only complicate things for you." He said in teasing tone of voice. There was a potential for great loyalty from this one... which made him all that much more dangerous. It meant that if Aqio were to turn on him it would cut deeper then if he just appeared one day with the intention of killing him without acting loyal to become with.

No matter how things with him went, with him loyal or not, Aqio was dangerous. Something that Shesha would ever keep at the forefront of his thoughts.

A part of Aqio mentally panicked. Legit full out panic mode. However the future assassin had schooled his facial features into that of a relaxed being. Which is what he was trying to maintain at this point in time. Shesha was cluing in to Aqio's feelings something the water youth was sort of scared that he'd do. Then he decided to go with it. "I was told if one had affection for their Employer than they'd be able to do their duty that much more effectively. After all, why would I allow someone to take what I considered potentially mine?"

He leaned in tilting his head just a bit as he watched the Oban. If Shesha wanted to go toe-to-toe he'd meet that challenge. He knew he was flirting with danger. Shesha could have him in the palm of his hand with sweet words and the water male would willingly let him. If the affection was only one sided that was fine with him.

Shesha shook his head, "No, feelings like that make person weaker. It's something that you really need to be leery of, little fish." High at the top of the list of things that Shesha just didn't care for was that accursed L word. How annoying it was, making people act in a foolish manner, willing to sacrifice everything in the name of it... and then when went sour they would tear one another to bits. It really was disgusting... that Aqio might find himself dragged into such a trap it kind of worried him. Would he really make a legitimately good assassin if he had such soft feeling swirling around inside himself? It was something that he really did wonder about.

As Aqio leaned in, seemingly challenging him, Shesha's lips twisted into a bit of a smirk, "I get it now... silly little fish... mistaking love for lust. Now that is something that I understand and is far easier to deal with." It was something that was useful as opposed to love which did far more harm then good in his mind. Reaching a hand up Shesha caught hold of a handful of Aqio's hair, dragging him in so that he could lock their mouths together into a kiss. This was something that he understood, something he could and would use, wanting to steer Aqio away from foolish notions that it was affection he was feeling for Shesha when the mage knew that it was something far, far more selfish and instinctual.
