(This is a realistic style RP. Meaning that superhuman powers, skills, gear, and other sorts of equipment are not allowed. Zombies will move at slow run type speed.)-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reden City, the once thriving and populated center of the country has now been laid to waste after a viral outbreak of an unknown virus swept the city and what seemed to be the world during the winter months. The city became under quarantine being that the city at the beginning was the most prevalent area of the virus at the time. State government had failed and military occupation took effect. Within a week of the initial outbreak survivors were taken to camps in each district of the city in order to maintain their safety and reduce the spread of the virus, thus aiding in the efforts to contain the virus and stop further spread throughout the country. The city had been broken into six different districts all with one camp each. Camp Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, and Foxtrot. The military kept it simple in naming each. Within 48 hours of these camps opening and taking in survivors there began to be fall outs. Camps Bravo, Charlie, Delta and Foxtrot all became overrun after failed patrols and entrance checks. The military had to fall back onto the two remaining camps Alpha and Echo. The government had supplied more personnel to the city in a last hope to contain the virus and save the city without complete destruction. Alpha and Echo began taking in less and less people into the camps and developed more strict rules in the camps. Guards patrolled throughout the makeshift housing units that the people stayed in. People began to be kicked out or executed for either not complying or being found to be sick. Many survivors began to question the safety of the camps and formed secretive groups to plot escape due to their inability to leave the camps because the military didn't want more people becoming infected. Camp Alphas residents rebelled against their military "saviors" due to the conditions worsening with lack of food, more executions and no supplies to protect them from the harsh winter nights. With the rebellion the walls fell and the infected pooled into the camp destroying all life that had occupied it. Very few made it out alive, mostly military escaped with small groups abandoning their posts while having lots of supplies and weapons while an even smaller amount of civilians made it out of the chaos with only their lives and the clothes on their back. Camp Echo would be the last remaining camp of the six to stand and supposedly learning from the mistakes of Alpha by improving the living conditions for the people. This is the story of the few survivors of the overrun and destroyed camps that had to burrow themselves within the city in order to survive. surprised rigin()/pre10/e2df/th/pre/i/2016/053/4/a/the_division_cinematic_trailer_by_jeremypaillotin-d9sr5el.jpg" class="user_img" alt="User Image" />

Nick sat in the front row seats where most of the people were sitting. There was around 12 of them inside their safe house, scattered throughout being alone with their friends and family. Most were distancing themselves from each other just trying to comfort one another. It had only been a few days since they had escaped from the camp. Some of the other people that are with them had escaped from the other camps that had fallen before Echo. They were the ones that had found this place and allowed us to take refuge here. There is the main theater and the lobby area with a long corridor that had bathrooms and the doors to the theater. Nick huddled next to a battery powered lamp that was sitting on a box in front of him as he sharpened his makeshift spear with a dull knife he found in the kitchen. It was peaceful for now. Quiet as no one talked very loud or much at all unless it was to themselves or whispers of relief to people that were shaken up from the horrors they had seen. Nick leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes.

The Doctor
It had been a long year for SO1 Kang, he had seen the virus in India then again in the UK. Now it was happening in his home, the United States. Kang was under strict orders of the US Military and Government. The six survivor camps set up in Reden City had for the most part been a disaster, the National Guardsmen in charge of the camps were mostly and quite frankly incompetent. And their incompetence had led to the death and loss of many innocent American lives, SO1 Kangs orders were clear. His primary mission is that he and twelve other operators would recover as many fresh samples of this virus and return with it to the CDC rendezvous point. While doing so they would also arm the nuclear warheads hidden in silo bunkers deep under Reden City. As a premature means of whipping out the virus in the city should all the operators fail. While being briefed on the mission SO1 Kang asked about the survivors? "Primary task SO1 Kang is that you are to acquire the samples and arm the warheads. If you should encounter any survivors and they are not of hostile threat, and they are of benefit to the task at hand I give you permission to evac them out of Reden City. Otherwise, I don't want to see any survivors." The winter had taken the city, it was cold and snow still fell, "many survivors must have been starving or in need of medical treatment" Kang thought to himself. Quietly Kang and his team infiltrated Reden City and made their way to the first district camp, Camp Alpha. Once inside Kang ordered his teams to split, SO1 Kang would seek survivors and acquire the samples needed. The others would arm the warheads. Kang wandered quietly and quickly through the dead camp district, "I can only imagine the horrors that befell this place..." Kang thought as he navigated around the Camp. Suddenly when making a turn, around the corner Kang saw a theater? It was larger and looked mostly intact, "That's got to be housing at least one survivor?!" Kang thought to himself then silently radioed to his team of his find and location, then made his way to the theater. Quietly Kang entered with his M4A1 Commando at the ready position, and his flashlight attached. His helmet and shoulder bore the Medical Red Cross, as a symbol that he is a person of medical aid. "Hello is anyone there? I am a doctor with the United States Military, are there survivors?" SO1 Kang asked as he made his way through the theater...

Nick's eyes shot open and seared with pain, he had not had many chances to get a full nights sleep in a long time since the outbreak. He was awoken by people running into the theater in fear and confusion. Huddling close to each other and their belongings. His veins pumped with adrenaline and his heart pounding as he heard a commotion of yelling from the men that were on watch. He didn't know if it was infected breaking through, looters, or the military coming back to finish them off out of revenge. Nick grabbed his spear and rushed quickly towards the lobby area in hopes of helping defend their stronghold if they needed and in order to understand the situation. He hid behind the wall that would lead him to the lobby area and made sure he wasn't visible and listened. He heard his men conversing to what sounded like only one other person. It could have been a larger group with only one man talking so he still waited. The man claimed to be a doctor working with the military and was offering aid to the wounded. Nick took a deep breath slowing down his heart rate and walked out of the corner using his spear as a walking stick to not seem hostile but still defended. The man had his hands up and a large assault rifle slung to his side with obvious military grade gear. Nick noticed the medical cross on the mans helmet and gear and began to be slightly more convinced that he was there to help. The survivors held to their crowbars and pipes just in case. They had come to not trust the military after what had happened at the camp. The three survivors turned back to look at nick as he approached the group of men. Nick spoke to the mysterious armed man "Who are you? Are you from one of the military camps?" Nick wasn't threatened by the man but was still feeling nervous. If he reached for his gun it would only be a matter of seconds before he and the others were gunned down due to the distance the man had strategically kept himself between himself and the men.

The Doctor
SO1 Kangs response was met with suspicion and fear. But he was not all that surprised after all that had transpired, Kang could only empathize as a medical physician. Kang watched as survivors gathered, he slowly observed their physical states..."Hungry and exhausted, but they don't look infected" Kang quietly thought to himself, as one of the survivors approached him carrying a stick? Undoubtedly a weapon, but Kang wasn't here to harm civilians he is a doctor and he would treat all those in need of help. Kang slowly lowered his weapon then raised his hands to show he wasn't a threat to the people there..."My name is Dr. Kang, I am a field trauma doctor. If there any survivors here that need medical assistance, what help I can provide I will." SO1 Kang said to the person that approached him, then slowly lowered his medical bag off his back. At the alert and ready SO1 Kang stayed, just in case he was wrong...

In order to survive, they became apart of the rebellion. They managed to escape alongside a few others before their camp was overrun. Marcus was one of the first three to confront Dr. Kang. After Nick questioned Kang, Marcus approached him, still gripping his crowbar. He moved his weapon to his left hand and extended his right. "Name's Marcus. We all came here after out camp was overrun."
Marcus saw it important to ensure that the group remained on Kang's good side. He was definitely someone that his group would want help from. After all, he's medically trained and well equipped.

Nick nodded along to what Marcus had said. "I'm going to take my chances with you and hope you're on our side here. We really could use some help from a doctor. We do have some people that are wounded in the back theater. If it makes you feel safer I can tell them to come out here for treatment and examination if walking you back seems too suspicious. I don't want to be throwing up any red flags with you." Nick walked up side by side to Marcus and reached his hand out as well. "I'm Nick, we are survivors of Camp Alpha." The other two men that were there seemed to lower their guard and step back a bit. They seemed to prefer we do the talking rather than ask any questions. Nick looked back to them and asked "Could you two go back and tell everyone everything is alright?" The two then agreed and returned to the back theater.

Alexander sat in the back of the safe house staying away from the others. "Look at those guys shaking hands with a so called doctor. They know what happened in Alpha why are they being so trusting?" he whisperd to himself. As he rolled an arrow between his fingers and glanced around the room noticing all those who were injured. "I should have taken my own advice and stayed out of the city like I thought."
A pain shot up his side "HSSSSSS!" he hissed "I knew I broke a rib after that fall." he thought to himself. "Nothing a doctor can do for that anyways."

The Doctor
Kang watched as more of the survivors arrived to greet him and Kang listened as they spoke and then extended their hands out to him. Politely Dr. Kang responded and shook their hand's in return..."Thank you all, and yes Marcus that was a failure and incompetence of the National Guardsmen. I apologize for the horrors you've had to all endure." Kang said as he begins to set up his medical equipment. Then Kang heard what would appear to the be one in charge of the three introduce themselves as Nick. Kang listened to him speak, and nodded in agreement..."That's fine if there any individuals needing medical assistance of any kind, please let me see them as I am in no rush to leave yet." Dr. Kang assured the survivors he would help them. As they left to gather the others Kang, grabbed his medical equipment and continued to prep them to be used. Silently he thought to himself, "Hopefully they can show me where the infected are hiding..."

Aleesa was a police officer before the infected hit the city. Carrying a M14 rifle she got from her father and a pistol from the police station, she ventured off. She saw what appeared to be a doctor from one of the bases heading into a movie theater, survivors...? She had to check it out. Slinging her rifle across her back, she advances toward the entrance of the theater, where she knocks on the door, waiting to hear the sound of the undead, or the living...

Hearing the knock Alexander jumps to his feet. The pain of the broken rib shooting up his side dropping him to one knee his arrow still in hand. "They are coming to get us again!" He shouts. he readies his arrow as his bow is out of reach. Alexander is prepared to join his family as the undead.

Hearing the yelling inside, though not actually sure if it meant there were survivors, Aleesa yelled, "Hello...? I'm part of the RCPD! If there are any survivors, please make yourself known!" ((so I didn't think about it and when I put RCPD I meant for the city in the RP not Raccoon City....this ain't resident evil....you probably all know that but this is so I can remember lol))

"Yes there survivors here" Alexanders says as he stumbles to the door. He opens the door ajar and peers out. He hide the arrow behind his back in case something goes bad. " Are you really a cop? Can you present some identification? Had some bad experiences with people who said they were something they weren't." Alexanders eye look up and down the woman to see what she is carrying on her.
