Eastern Medical Tent
On the East side of the festival grounds is a sizable white tent with an admittedly poor red cross painted in the center of the triangle made by the tent structure. It's pretty clear what it is, one of the two medical tents set up to care for injured attendees or those suffering from heatstroke.
It's clear that Renegade Media cares about the safety and health of their patients because, were someone to glance inside, they would see a well stocked tent with a few rows of pop-up beds and a decent amount of staffing.
If you which to interact with a NPC medic please quote nuxaz. Otherwise, interact with one of the volunteers or stumble into the tent and see who can aid you!

Character Name: Alphonse Wingates-St. Grey Location: Eastern Medical Tent - Entrance Action: Just Arrived Alphonse was glad when he had seen that the local festival would be taking volunteers this year. After everything he had been through lately, it would be good to be of some help for a change. It seemed in his other life that he was always the one needing help. He had been given a walkie-talkie and he turned it on while flipping through the map and schedule. The medical station he was assigned to was just across the way from the stage. It was still early and well before the festivities when he enters the tent with a promotional sign that read 'Western Medical Tent'. "I know I might be a bit early... but I hope there's some volunteer work for me."The boy's amber eyes took a moment to adjust from the bright sunlight to the dim shade as he looked around. ✪

Character Name: NPC Nurse Location: Tent entrance [Action: Showing Volunteers around the med tent!
Renegade Media took events seriously and had provided at least one certified nurse and a competent doctor in each of it's tents. And they'd also looked into making sure that most of their volunteers were CPR certified and understood the basics of first aid. Of course, they weren't expecting any sort of major injuries and had staffed appropriately as a result.
Each staff member was busying themselves with some sort of work and it just so happened that Alphonse found the least busy member near the entrance. It was a young man, fresh out of nursing school, on his first real assignment. He had an armful of supplies that he'd been transporting from one end to another, intending to fill the cabinets that lined the tent with them for easy access.
He'd been mid-step when address and he turned, wearing a slightly disgruntled look on a darkly skinned face. "Oh, yeah. We're still setting up." The volunteer had been early after all. "Make yourself useful and make sure these cabinets get stocked."

Character Name: Alphonse Wingates-St. Grey Location: Eastern Medical Tent - Entrance Action: Interacting with Medical Staff Alphonse gleefully started stocking the place with anything he was given. Band-aids, gauze-wraps, ice-packs. The place would be well-prepared, if he could help it. "I'm Alphonse." His voice was a bit muffled as he spoke to the nurse that had greeted him as he was balancing a stack of first aid kits a bit unevenly before managing to place them in their proper area. The boy was a bit over eager to help today. ✪

Character Name: NPC Nurse Location: Tent entrance Action: Directing Alphonse
The man grunted, grateful to have pawned off the busy work on some volunteer. He didn't have anything better to do, yet, but that didn't change the fact that he felt a type of superiority. He was too good do be doing such menial tasks.
Besides, who wouldn't pawn off s**t like this if they could?
And the man knew that there was a timer on his authority, once he was in a legitimate hospital he'd be at the bottom tier. So he wanted to enjoy what little power he was allowed to exert before more people milled in.
I'm Alphonse, the boy said and his first response was to think don't care. He bit that down though and shrugged.
"Johnson, now focus on those cabinets. Grounds open in five minutes and god knows concert goers are idiots.

Nuxaz Oh God I am so sorry >.< this got lost in all my other tag notifications >.>' Sorry, sorry sweatdrop Character Name: Patrick O'RyanLocation: Eastern Medical Tent - Entrance Action: Coming in later then he had intended He was late. Work had held him late yesterday so he got to sleep late which meant he overslept and of course traffic sucked because why wouldn't it. It took a bit to get his stuff as a volunteer and even more to get situated before he could even begin to make his way to his tent. So by the time he had reached his assigned tent the festival was T minus five minutes. Standing uncertainly at the entrance of the tent Pat cleared his throat nervously, running his hand through his red hair. "Um, yeah, sorry about being late. Pat O'Ryan reporting for duty." He had no idea really what was needed or even what he could do to help set up and get ready for the countless people who will be ferried in with cuts, scrapes, and bruises. With luck it won't be worse than that but dehydration, along with more illegal induced injuries, were possible. As an EMT Pat was pragmatic. The festival could take every precaution in the book and some smart a** will still end up sneaking in something they shouldn't. Besides there were more mundane ways to injure yourself that didn't require anything that the festival said was a no no. You can never underestimate the stupidity of the general public after all.

Character Name: Alphonse Wingates-St. Grey Location: Eastern Medical Tent - Entrance Action: Talking to the newcomer Alphonse noticed another volunteer like himself enter a bit late. He had already stocked the shelves, counted the supplies, swept the floor and doubled-checked his work before he arrived. He was beginning to think he would be the only one who had volunteered here today, "I thought I was going to be alone for a second there." He smiled as he greeted the newcomer. "Has the festival started yet?"✪

Character Name: Ian St. George Location: East Med Tent Action: Carrying in Penelope! Perhaps carrying Penelope hadn't been his best idea. It wasn't as though she were heavy, but in the grand scheme of things, even a bag of groceries got heavy after carrying it for a bit. And then there was the matter of atmosphere: while it was early yet, the temperature was enough to further weary the blond and sap his strength as he brought his new friend and co-worker to the eastern medical tent for assistance. Not that he would complain or even say anything about it as he occasionally shifted her position in his arms en route - that would be rude and also piss-poor breeding to make any such untoward commentary - but it was in the back of his mind that gallant gestures like sweeping a fainting woman off her feet was not always the best option. Luckily, it seemed as though there were several people doing busy work and waiting, so he had high hopes for how quickly Penelope would find relief from what he could only assume was mild heat stroke or perhaps hypoglycemia. Ian sincerely hoped that the cause of her fainting spell carried such a benign cause and wasn't a sign of something much more serious - he found her to be a quick wit and thought that teaching at Romanos would be much more enjoyable with her around. "Excuse me, my friend is in need of assistance. Where would you like her?" Ian was not going to set Penelope down until he knew just where the staffers of the tent wished for her to be while they looked her over. Nuxaz le princess is in the building! Fiction1119 not sure whom would like to take this on! meighei see above -assistance required!

Nuxaz He is going to treat it as heat exhaustion until told otherwise, here are the first aid instructions I'm kinda going off of heart Character Name: Patrick O'RyanLocation: Eastern Medical Tent - Entrance Action: Helping Penelope Pat smiled at the young man, "Nope, not alone." His gaze flicked over to the nurse, giving an apologetic shrug before starting to help. "If it hasn't already it will be shortly. I'm Pat by the way, you guys?" He introduced himself even as he set about helping stock and straighten the tent. The tall redhead was surprised by the amount of supplies they had available but he just mentally shrugged and continued to putter around. Really there was little to do other then sort stuff in the event of it being needed... at least until it was needed. He was just thinking about how quiet everything was, considering the event was raging on around them when a young man came in carrying a young woman. Mentally cursing Pat rushed over to the duo, clearing the closest cot of spare bandages he had been absently rolling. "Here. Put her down here." The EMT grabbed a chair and pushed the young man into it once he put his burden down all the while barking out orders, "Water, ice packs, damp cloths, and a fan. Now, please." He shoved a bottle of water in the guy's hand before going to examine the girl. "What were her symptoms before you brought her here? Did either of you take or consume anything?" There were just too many possibilities for her current state, "Miss? Miss can you hear me?"

Character Name: Penelope Rey Location:Med tent entrance Action: being held by Ian, examined by Pat
Penelope barely registered the way Ian had lifted her, bridal style, because the world was spinning around her. She had, however, managed to curl into his chest with one arm grasping at a shoulder to hold on while her face was buried in his shirt.
Her eyes were squeezed shut, as if the sunlight was further exasperating her condition and she groaned when other voices wafted around her. "I-Ian?" She mumbled, seeming to clutch more tightly at his shirt. "Make the tent stop spinning." She practically begged before swatting at the person trying to check on her.
"Be quiet - you're hurting my head."

Character Name: Alphonse Wingates-St. Grey Location: Eastern Medical Tent - Entrance Action: Trying to help the patient (but probably just getting in the way) "A patient?" Alphonse perked up as he saw a female being carried in by a man. She looked faint. Luckily, the EMT he was talking to immediately started assisting the two. "Alphonse." He answered as he scrambled to get supplies. What would they need? He had no idea. "What do you need? Cold compress? Band-aid? Water?"✪

Character Name: Ian St. George Location: East Med Tent Action: Sitting around, yo Ian appreciated the quick reaction of the first guy that addressed them and followed directions well; although he was really not in need of being coddled at all he took the water without complaint and drank while Patrick fussed with Penelope. When she'd clung to him, he'd responded quietly. "I'm here, Penelope. It's alright, this is the medical tent. You fainted." The second EMT seemed much more...excitable than the first, but seemed to be competent enough. "It came on somewhat suddenly, we were at the Leviathan stage enjoying the show. I assume the heat and excitement finally got to her.' As he could remember, there had actually been several folks looking faint - they, however, had not been in his company the way Pen was, so he hadn't felt any sort of connection. Plus, he could only safely carry one person at a time and Ian wasn't altruistic enough to go back out to help cart others - strangers - back and forth to the medical tents. There were staffers for that, weren't there? Other EMTs and the like? Not his business. "I don't believe she's the only one...I expect it might be a bit busy for you lot soon enough." Briefly, Ian wondered if his cousin or some of the DCBC dancers that had accompanied the DJ - like say, Delphine - would be making appearances in the medical tents shortly.

Character Name: Penelope Rey Location: Laying on a bed in the east med tent Action: reluctantly letting the volunteers help her
Knowing that Ian wasn't going to leave her, and now that a second volunteer had flocked over to pay attention to her, had Penelope realizing that she was the center of attention. As such, she felt a flutter of pride which was quickly swallowed by another wave of dizziness. Without thinking, the blonde reached out for the man who'd carried her him.
Her face tilted towards the second volunteer and her voice was hoarse when she spoke. "W-water is probably good." She mumbled, hating that she felt weak instead of pretending she was feeling weak.
"Can we - " she hesitated, squeezing her eyes shut because keeping them open only reminded her of how all of this exhaustion was taxing her. "I want to go home."

((Sorry about my silence on this. Did a bit of a time skip so ^.^')) Character Name: Patrick O'RyanLocation: Eastern Medical Tent - Entrance Action: Helping Pat breathed a bit easier when the girl started to talk, even if she still seemed a bit out of it. It meant that it wasn't worse than it was, that he could help. "Miss, you need to drink this," he pressed a bottle of water at her. She needed water, cool air, and rest. The redhead looked over at Alphonse and gave him, as well as the two who had come in, a quick crash course of heat exhaustion. "Untreated, heat exhaustion can lead to heatstroke, which is a life-threatening condition. If you suspect heat exhaustion, the best steps to take immediately are: one, move the person out of the heat and into a shady or air-conditioned place; two, lay the person down and elevate the legs and feet slightly; three, remove tight or heavy clothing; four, have the person drink cool water or other nonalcoholic beverage without caffeine, water being the best; five, cool the person by spraying or sponging with cool water and fanning; and six, and most importantly, monitor the person carefully. Heat exhaustion isn't something you want to play around with." He had ticked off each step with his fingers as he lectured. He focused on the boy who brought in Penelope, "keep talking to her." Looking at the young lady, "and you miss, just relax. Keep drinking water. Let us know if something changes." There was already cool air being pumped into the tent by a portable ac unit, but Pat still slipped a cool compress onto her forehead. He really hoped that Ian wasn't right about there being more but he feared the boy was. Ian's prediction was soon proven right as more people started to trickle into the medical tent, most seemed to be suffering from heat exhaustion but there were a few more physical injuries that required attention. With all his attention focused on patients it took longer than it should have for him to register the commotion that was occurring outside of the tent. Finishing up with wrapping a twisted ankle the tall redhead made his way over to the main opening for the tent and what he saw had him swearing under his breath. It looked like chaos was taking reign, he mentally paused and wondered if that mental comment was more on the nose then he realized, people were running, and screaming, and freaking out in general. Pat glanced back at the tent full of people, some looking rather scared as the pandemonium seemed to get worse as the seconds ticked by, and knew he couldn't leave them. "It will be ok. Remain calm and stay here." He used his best 'I know what I'm doing' voice before turning back to the entrance and starting to direct anyone who saw him to the tent. At Least here they were somewhat protected. It was better than whatever was actually going on out there. He would do that much, and when everything was done he would be going out to help more. Apparently the quiet day of volunteer work wouldn't be so quiet after all.
