Upon awakening, the four heroes will find themselves standing before a massive set of gates. Two cracked and crumbling pillars flank to either side, poised atop are a set of twin gargoyles. Blackened vines curl and twist around everything, even crawling along the ground and up the two doors themselves. The archway seems to stretch infinitely upward, with the walls going too far for the eyes to see. The doorways are covered in writhing stone, bodies of creatures and beings in pain, mouths open as if to scream but no sound coming from them. The heat in the area is close to unbearable, even causing steam to emanate from the desecrated stone pathway. A feeling would constantly beckon the heroes forward, daring them to step up to the gates. Instincts would scream otherwise, instilling fear in their hearts.
Twas not long before all was lost. Pulled into the heavens and reeled towards a potential horrid demise, legs kick off of ice plate to jump away only to be taken by chains. Yanked to the underworld he stands briefly just after emerging from a portal in silence. Memories but a flicker of words and images just as quick as he had appeared. Come and go, regardless the goal was before himself. Or most precisely, around himself. Still he remained in the bulk of settings, prepped for combat and the nearest surprise. Gradually in anxious angst, he fastened to set sapphire eyne upon the golden locks, then so on and so forth. Quietly he stands, scrutinizing what work of art this malevolent cesspool had begun to reveal in a silence so loud it could drive a god insane. Arms shift, folded atop one another. Carefully held, he knew the deal.
'' Well this is just s**t. ''
A Djinn does not forget.

[Dami buffs - Battle Cry (1 rank less energy costs) [1/3], CoV(+1 rank DR) [1/4], Mephesto's Rage ( +2 damage and strength) [1/3]]
Passives • Three Wishes [1/3] Up to three times per fight, the Djinn may manipulate the force around an attack to redirect it and make it miss, for free. This can only be done on skills of one to two ranks higher than them. This is an extremely powerful passive of the Djinn, an intelligent Djinn capable of using it to largely make up for their vulnerability to ranged magic. It can also help to leave an enemy open in close-quarters combat.
• Mind Games The Djinn have a permanent 'force' around their skin that will reduce incoming damage by a rank. This puts them on the same level of base defensibly as a werewolf, although they can't regenerate, so... At adept rank, this force can become amplified by the djinn's mind, psycho-manually controlling the level of force in the layer of magic. They can apply energy to it to block all manner of attacks, meaning they don't really have to learn defensive abilities. It is really no more potent than any other defense of its rank, but it is considered to be a bloodline ability and thus is boosted.
• Armored Skin Passive The skin of the beast master has been trained to take punishment from both the inside and the outside. As such, the user's skin acts like their own shell of armor, rejecting any comfort of having any kind of armor equipped. The stronger the BM gets, the stronger their skin gets, even being on par with the metals of the world. As a bonus, this even allows the BM the capabilities of catching weapons that are either on their rank or even lower without body damage. Depending on the rank of the user, their arms are already weighted and even stronger than that, as such the user is capable of breaking through anything that is weaker than they are (Only B ranked and below).
- Novice: Your skin is as strong as Iron, already hard to make you even flinch if a weak foe tried to punch you with their bare hands. C rank and above will hurt you. - Adept: Your skin is as sharp and strong as steel, you can withstand stronger hits and not even flinch once. B rank and above will harm you.
Chi Sense Rank: Passive Description: This is required for all Dim Mak techniques. It allows the user to see the flow of chi within any surrounding enemies in an area, making hiding from them quite useless as they pop up in their vision just as easily as infrared. This vision will last for five posts at a time, and requires a cool down of one post after usage. Once Stage 4 is learned, the negative effects of this technique disappear and becomes a passive ability of the user.
Chi Sao C - Passive Chi Sao is more of a state of being than a specific attack. The user will attach a part of themselves to the opponent; leg, arm, hand, etc. From there they will be able to react almost instantly to the movements their opponent makes. For example, if they are sticking to the target with their leg and they go to kick, the user can instantly counter. If they are using their arm then the user is able to rapidly block and stop an attack before it is carried through. Breaking free of Chi Sao is very difficult for the user will constantly keep pushing themselves and mirroring the motions of the person they are sticking to. This also allows the user to keep up a constant wave of attacks which can be anything they have learned so long as they can keep contact with the opponent.
Empty Palm B - Passive This technique is generally only ever used when the student is in danger or is harmed. They will focus all of their attention on deflecting attacks and not advancing. Whenever a strike comes in they will swat at the joint of the limb that is used. Continuous blocks in this manner can easily fracture/break bones.
Activating Skills
• Forceful Body B [2/10] Similar to a mage's haste, you may use this ability to (and it can be freely re-allocated) give yourself up to a +2 boost in either stat for basically the rest of the match (ten posts). Unlike haste, however, this can only be used on yourself, while mages can literally use it as many times as they want, covering them and all their allies.
• Fighting Spirit C [2/10] A skill that gets the user pumped up, the user will be coated in a fiery red energy of their fighting spirit, their will power. The user's strength and speed temporarily increases by one rank. At master rank it'll raise by two ranks. This lasts for 10 posts, and can only be used once in battle, or prior to battle.

An interesting development. One that he could not risk not acting on. If worst came to worst, he would deal with whatever came of it. For now, he was spit out into a completely different realm, Damian knew this right away. Something... Primal within him verified this fact. He was no longer within the realm of the material plane, but of something much more sinister and diabolical. Something that suited such a creature as he. In all honestly, he had not expected Elessia to have created another portal for her combatants to be hurled through as he had seen the drain it had on her, despite her attempts to hide it. Yet here he was, pulled into Hell as he had attempted to both stop a flying b***h from flying around and give an opportunity for a Mer to unleash devastation upon the common enemy. And he was being cursed at by a woman he had specifically defended. The hilarity of it did not escape him as a small smirk grew on his face. Not-so-dim licks of flame danced from his eyes as he turned to the Valkyrie. "Care to test your strength now, little bird? Would you fair better than the birds already having their souls raped by the damned after facing me?" His voice carried the weight of a promise that it would be a fight that would not stop until one of them did not draw breath if she accepted.
From there the paths of action would be open. If she so chose, he would fight her there, and then whomever survived would continue on. If she held back, he would face the doors before them. His mind was in a momentary flurry, working the two angles he had to play in order to survive this entire ordeal. He stepped slowly to the gates, Ascalon resting on his shoulder and in the grip of his right hand. "Now... What lies behind door number one..." The gargoyles held interest; possible guardians on this place. The vile tendrils also may have bore warrant of danger. This was an unknown place in terms of what was known of the items and potential beings here. He was someone who enjoyed beating someone's face in, but that did not mean he did not at least take stock in possible dangers.
Flashes of verdant seized all hope of laying eyes upon a familiar and much longed sight. When Auriel's group returned, immediately she set her blinded eyes towards her partner and loved one. With limited sight and a bond stronger than any spell Elessia could cast, Cassandra felt the absence of pain in Auriel and was relieved. But relief soon turned to panic when she regained her vision, and with it she saw another flash of verdant green and it was gone. Auriel was gone. No, she was gone. Devoid of natural light of with any form of radiance, she stood cold in a vast space with a single set of large commanding doors. Slowly, as she regained her senses, she felt the others with her. The ones she spent her time and energy protecting. The ones that weren't Auriel. Words whispered themselves into her ear, bringing sound to them for the first time since they were teleported here. Like a siren, it sang its sweet song. When it revealed itself, the gravity of the situation came to light. The darkness called to her, and she found herself beckoning for it to come for her. Feeling intense pride in her life for training in countless disciplines, Cassandra found herself ensnared in a trap set for only the most decadent of souls. The purest were the first to fall; the ones who still saw the world with dream eyes, full of wonder and charged with the passion to make changes for the better.
And so her naivety faded in the presence of the Gate of Hell. The light in her eyes faded, becoming snuffed out and replaced by a much more sinister force. Survive, and the power to get back to Auriel would be within reach in a matter of seconds. What was there to consider? When she reached for her jeweled hilt, she pulled nothing out. The blade had been dislodged during combat with Elessia. Still, it would serve a purpose. During her battle with Elessia, she found herself in the background, pitching in to support the warriors of the group. She would function differently, boasting her wide skill set, she would step into a new role. The armor she brought with her was satisfactory, and would shimmer in the darkest of lights. But the heat took her body to new levels of discomfort. Inside of her hot armor, she had already begun to sweat profusely. "Stop with the idle chatter already! Take caution, and follow the lead of the Valkyries."From yards away, she nodded to Alexandra. Though a stranger, she was a Valkyrie, and she claimed familiarity in the sight of another Valkyrie. A warrior with sense, as much could not be said regarding the others. Men. Taking steps to close the distance between the gate and herself, she clutched her jeweled hit. The door felt almost alive; a sentient being of its own kind. It already sensed the presence, and soon it would react. Cassandra would just speed up the progress.
• Clarity Seeing through mind games is child's play for Cassandra; her ability to see through extremely debilitating passive effects is unrivaled, especially when they are from unholy creatures and figures. As a former Shaman, Cassandra is capable of still using her ability to break Passives before they can even begin to affect her, like the Shadowknight's fear, and even the Reaver's pain passive.
• Sabotage With every hit that lands on the opponent's person, even if blocked by a shield or an armor of some kind, Cassandra's magic attaches to them and slows them and weakens them per hit. On RPCs, this takes away one point for both stats per hit max of (-4/-4), on monsters and gods this passive works for every hit Cassandra can land up to (-6/-6).
• Planar Cloak The area around her body is surrounded by a thick cloak of energy from the 1st plane. This energy around her distorts the area around her up to 5 feet, and makes ranged combat more difficult and less precise. Enhanced perceptions are nearly nullified.
• Keep Going The Valk's, in comparison to others, are capable of slight regeneration which begins just as soon as the blow was taken. Bruises and scraps won't even appear making it seem as if their skin is tougher than others. Trainees can deal with simple cuts. Novice can deal with simple cuts and first degree burns. Adept can deal with cuts, second degree burns, and fractured bones. Experts can deal with deep lacerations and broken bones. Masters can heal third degree burns, wounds such as stabs(only on surface, not internal damage), and crushed bones. E-Trainee, D-Novice, C-Adept, B-Expert, A-Master
• Wrath of a God Their weapons surge with their latent energy which makes any weapon they touch, especially their chosen one, both covered in holy light and electricity. This leads to anyone locking blades or striking the shield of a Valkyrie feel small shocks that ward people off from staying in contact with them for too long. This also makes unholy enemies take an extra rank of damage on top of the lightning damage. However for the lightning to be in effect you must have more than half your energy remaining within you.
• Child of Jarnbjorn When a Valkyrie choses a weapon to specialize in, that weapon becomes gifted by holy power and works much like Thor's Mjolnir and Jarnbjorn. It will nigh automatically come to the call of the Valkyrie, cannot be destroyed, and always has the extra lightning damage going on it regardless of energy level. When attacking with that weapon, they gain an extra +1/+1 to their stats. You get one of these, so choose carefully. This weapon should get its own custom abilities, and if it does it must be approved.
• Feast of Ambrosia Once per battle the Valkyrie can hold their hand out and summon a goblet full of ambrosia. Upon consumption, this otherwordly substance will heal and cure any wounds and debilitations the Valkyrie may be suffering. This will not regenerate any lost limbs or organs, but it will immediately close wounds. No energy is regained from this, it merely gives the Valkyrie a better chance to continue fighting.
• The Sight Being of God's blood, like God, they can see the world for what it truly is. They can see through ''the Mist" and see those for what they are. Instantly recognizing creatures of the night on spot or those who can use dark magic for they can read the aura's about them. Also giving them a general idea of how strong another is regardless of race. (Rank-wise, not as precise to be know the exact amount in the other energy pool.)

As Cassandra approached the gates a quake would roll through the ground beneath her feet. That was the only warning to a monster larger than the dragoon's pet bursting out of the ground. It would be just before her, blocking the gate. The creature resembled a scorpion with a carapace even stronger than a dreadnoughts. It's mighty tail was already poised, multiple spikes surrounding an impossibly heavy club-like ending. A terrible screech accompanied it, followed by the sound of its mandibles crashing together. The monster would immediately reach out to pierce her body and armor with its fangs.
After the first one three more would appear before the other warriors. They would come from in front of them and attack immediately. A hole would tear open in front of Damian and out of it he would be able to see the maw of its enemy. From its gullet it spit a fine mist of an acid so powerful it would even melt through the reaver's natural body armor. Alex would be attacked from directly below. The monster would tear through the ground with barely any notice and attempt to snap off her legs with its mouth. Ruah's monster shot skyward and contorted its body, whipping around the tail to smash him to dust with it. Each of the monsters would be emitting this terrible and repeating noise, like thousands of cicadas singing at once. Each person would feel a block of some kind between them and their natural source of energy. It would hinder them, weakening all.
• The Endrega's attacks ignore DR • The Endrega's mist is equal to an S-rank acid attack • The Endgega's stats are equal to 18/15 • No attacks above A-rank can be used
Surely they would die if they were not already torn apart and thrown into the sky. Begrudgingly of the life lingering about this land, their entrance and arrival had been nothing but a soreness to the a**. Profound breaks the barrier, robust and powerful. Arrogance runs smoothly within this plain, vastly creating the light that shone their very sins. Pride runs through the air, essence and wrath falls forth to follow suit. Envy is simply a rancid acid mist that lingers in silence to corrupt the gathering together. Greed devastates their ideals, twisting them into indecent charming individuals. Alas, lust revels just under pride in its near most craving. Power. Something everyone held in common, to reach the pinnacle. It was in order to harbor gracious intent that breaks the boarders of their realities. To delve deep within the depths of vanity and pierce its core to find secrets unknown. . " You know, you're really annoying. Considering you almost got us three killed in an instant with that 'Allahu Akbar' stunt you pulled, I would tread lightly on who you pick fights with. Especially since we both saved you from a swift death. "
You think I don't know that your kind has soul stones? I was taught by two Dreadnoughts!
Pointed ears perked, giving slight twitches to such knowledge being shared. Something quite interesting to the Djinn now that he carried a brief quest that the unknown threw his way. A bone flung into a hall, he turns to land sights like a readied dog on a prize to assault off command. Golden locks held a pure appearance, but no more patience than her gallant glorifying poise unleashed. Shoulders shift, head cants at the thought and detailing understanding of these mysterious soul gems. Testy tasking, something that only forced his irritation to hit its boiling point. Great, a galled bleeding, a*****e, and a dumb one also. Thoughts correlated, cycling in what is new he shakes his head just before the soft rolling of heated exasperation left his lips. Insults hit the walls like a brick to glass, shattered to shambles, a career potentially ended with the Djinn gawking emerging gradually.
" That was pretty funny-WHO DO YOU DARE GIVE ORDERS TO?! II.. follow no one. "
Enraged at the thought of being ordered around, visions glared with a luminous glow cast about their forms. Shadows cast, energy soaked about the gateway to hell. The fury was awaiting, yet a power born anew arose to assault the guests. Ascending from the earth, it rolls and coils, contorts even. Disgusting and disgraceful whilst he steps forth to confront the Valkyrie, until he is halted by a sudden approach of this creature. Hyped from his own malevolent thoughts to follow actions after, he lunges forth. Swiftly slipping from the beasts tail slam, twisting his form he swings his weight to cycle back within a turn. Bolting forth, his hand shoots to carve through the beast's tail immediately. A weapon to use against him was a weapon gifted to him. Positioned behind the end of the tail severed, he launches a powerful kick to send the ends of it into the face of the beast.
" Do not, interrupt me. Worthless. ''

• Deadly Force Passive Berserkers know how to use their strength to it's fullest extent, able to smash and break non energy based barriers dependent upon their strength rating.
6-8: Able to break bones upon a solid strike; can crack stone with the first strike and break it with the second
9-11: Able to break stone upon a solid strike; can shatter bones.
12-14: Able to rend metal with a solid strike; organs in the localized area struck can rupture.
15: There aren't many known materials a berserker can't strike through at this level. Strikes will tear straight through an opponent's body from the berserker's sheer strength.
Activating Skills
• Forceful Body B [3/10] Similar to a mage's haste, you may use this ability to (and it can be freely re-allocated) give yourself up to a +2 boost in either stat for basically the rest of the match (ten posts). Unlike haste, however, this can only be used on yourself, while mages can literally use it as many times as they want, covering them and all their allies.

The user's strength and speed temporarily increases by one rank. At master rank it'll raise by two ranks. This lasts for 10 posts, and can only be used once in battle, or prior to battle.
• The Hype B [1/4] By exciting themselves and deciding to give their full effort in this battle, the berserker can increase the effectiveness of all class and hand to hand skills by one; allowing them to extend past the normal cap of +1 if able. Lasts for four posts.
TABTAB It was a hilarious detail that if things had gone the way they should have, these people would not be feeding off each other's stupidity and even praising him for what he and the Mer had planned for the goddess. However, the Mer had not delivered. As it stood now, Damian was soooo ******** tired of Valkyries. Before, the offer was still on the fence about being taken. Now, it was a definite. He would follow her request, and he would do so happily now. Right now, being lifted by his new quarry, the ideas began to form. He knew when he did this, it would either be a spectacular display or an epic fail, but either way it would happen now. Her friend, he knew, would be an obstacle regardless of how this went. The other Valkyrie was something he did not know for sure. Possibly another opponent. Possibly someone who would value her own survival over petty vengeance. With the monsters currently attacking the group, there were variables that would be unknown for the near future. Those variables would be addressed when they came about.
TABTAB She had him grabbed, flying up to escape their opponents. He was feeling the flames of her form, causing his body to almost literally melt. In response, he used even more blood magic to continuously strengthened his body and repair damage being taken as it was being done. (This does override Health Regeneration mod for the duration as it is a more effective regen, and is an activated regen rather than a passive regen that is always on) That was fine; it made his job easier, and actually feeling the pain of his body being torn down and regenerated just to repeat the process moments later was a feeling that exillerated him. He waited until just the right moment when she would be taking off into her jump of her wing moments were any indication. "Let's test your theory out, b***h." Her grip on his, he flickered in an eruption of flames and actually twisted his body, using his monsterous strength to actually pull her back down to the ground. At worst, her arm would be ripped off completely and thrown to the side. Ascalon lit up with energy as it was driven into her armor once, then twice more in succession. The blade would not pierce her armor, but with every strike it's ability to defend her was weakened. He could see the monsters before him and what they intended to do.The one attacking Alex would find a somewhat helpless Alex as Damian stabbed into her body one final time with the Swordspear and literally jumped off the hilt of the weapon with all of his weight into the air to insure that she not only stayed on the ground with the Swordspear being driven through her body, but that he also was in the air as the mist would roll around which Alex would now be trapped in. As this went on the red, hulking monstrosity would not relent; he wanted to be sure. If she did not die now, she would be as hurt as he could make her now. From above, as soon as he was out of the range of her flames, he rained Black Death upon her empowered by Svalinn and those near her in the form of black flames erupting from his gullet. Though the area effected as massive, the flames spanning a hundred feet spilling out as there was only about a fifty foot distance between Dreadnought and Valkyrie, none of the others that had originally come to fight Elessia had been harmed by the attack. With the effects unholy attacks had on holy beings as well as her defenses being weakened, it would be an onslaught she would not forget if she lived through it.
[TABTAB Above everything else, Astrid's charred form hovered in the air. The valkyrie's flames had done a number on her as well. She would wait until her master's call echoed. Going in now was too much of a risk to herself and him, much to tune of how her time out in the fight was going.
• Gene Mod: Speed <-> Strength Allows a person with the mod to convert their speed to strength or strength to speed twice a fight. • Gene Mod: Regeneration (Has Both Health Regeneration and Energy Regeneration Mod INDIVIDUALLY) Allows for faster healing or energy recovery. One or the other not both. This could possibly be used in place of a cleric for add on's from mechanists or as passive skills to regain health or energy while inactive. Regeneration is simple, similar to the Nephilim's, in terms of healing. Does not work for people with Regenerative Capabilities. Energy Regeneration is a bit different. Depending on your rank, you gain a flat amount. Novice = 25, Adept = 50, Expert = 75, Master = 100, Sage = 125 • Gene Mod: Energy Boost Increases base energy by 250 per rank. If you received this at Master Rank, it still counts from Trainee Rank.
• Buffs from dreadnoughts to ally have a special property when coming into combat with holy attacks. The Dreadnought's skills gain a +1 when coming in contact with Holy skills, but only their direct skills.
• Attacks count as Unholy
• Devour The ability to steal the life force of another to replenish your PP meter seems almost unholy. However, the transfer is anything but. Life is pure and raw, and the Reaver understands that. As such, the life transferring ability becomes a part of of every strike made by the Reaver. Direct contact is not necessary, as the Reaver has developed not only the ability to sense pain coming from others, but the ability to absorb the pain from several yards away. The range is limited to the area that the user is in. Not limited to opponents.
Based on the skill that is used, the user regenerates a certain amount of pain points. E Ranked: 5 Points D Ranked: 15 Points C Ranked: 35 Points B Ranked: 60 Points A Ranked: 85 Points S Ranked: 100 Points SS Ranked: 200 Points
• Pain The Reaver projects a constant aura (radius of 10 meters) that seeps into anyone the user wishes and causes them rather mild pain. For every person infected, the user gain back D Ranked Power Points, thanks to Devour. This attack is fully capable of being boosted, though once boosted, the cost in power points will equal one rank below what you are receiving. If it is boosted to B Rank, it costs C Rank to use.
• Your Pain is My Drug As long as the user is inflicting pain on another, the user gains a +1/+1 to stats. The user feeds off of this pain, and the effect is most definitely stackable for every enemy.

Techniques
Battle Cry | C
Xiezi | C Three quick successive stabs. The movements are so fast that if the first connects, the next two attacks will also connect
Black Fury | A -> S With a roar and an Expulsion of energy, the Dreadnought can direct a massive clot of dark energy to release from their body, in target direction. This blast is representative of the element of the dreadnought, and is extremely deadly in that it has a fairly large area of effect, starting at 100feet, and increasing by fifty for each rank higher. Though it is elemental, this skill is entirely black, and even though it is a massive aoe attack it can be directed not to harm allies by the dreadnought. The area, after this attack is complete, is usually left all but entirely destroyed by the dreadnought.
Blood Augmentation: Body Armor | A Utilizing the same power and the Limb ability, the user will essentially alert their body of incoming attacks, preparing to forcibly rush the platelets over to the area that is going to be attacked to immediately begin a rushed healing process before the attack will even happen. With this, if the user is receives unwanted damage, the repair is almost instantaneous. In turn, the user pretty much receives reduced damage by one rank. This armor becomes passive at sage rank, but until then it lasts for 5 posts.
Shieldbreaker | B Energy coats Ascalon's blade. For three posts, when it collided with someone or something with Damage Reduction, that Damage Reduction is reduced by one. This stacks, and the Damage Reduction.... Reduction... returns three posts after not being effected by this ability. This stacks up to two times on a single victim.
Astrid
Rank: Matches Damian (Expert Currently) Energy: 1,300 - 250 = 1,050 Stats: Strength: 8(+2) | Speed: 16 | DR: +1 Techniques:• Cataclysm [SS] Technically an enhanced version of Burn Out, Astrid builds up enough energy to engulf a district or a city and ignites it, dealing massive damage to the area. This damage is done by hundreds of beams of ignited plasma that emit from between her wing joints and pelt the area. This technique costs one post to charge, and effects, in many cases, the entire thread.

The ruling was that Kami is able to go through with the action if he first reacts to the fire. He has edited accordingly. Ham, you have an opportunity to react as well. So long as it is a feasible way of escaping or somehow opposing his strength you'll be fine. Go ahead and post whenever, remembering the 2 day rule starting from the time of this post.
Seismic activity roared throughout the vast area the group was currently in as nasty little ******** crawled out of the cracks around them. There was absolutely nothing tasteful about the creature before her, or the creatures around her. Its size was grander than anything Cassandra could match it with, and yet she found herself fearless in front of it. From an analytical standpoint, she had the advantage. As Muninn flew overhead, she was blessed with a view seldom others could see. Every inch the creatures moved, Cassandra saw it. The entire battlefield was strategically plotted for easier viewing, giving Cassandra all of the direction she needed to turn the tide of any situation. Her current situation was no different. As the creature attacked, reflexes remained true as she gripped Vardi in her attempt to respond to the monster's attack in kind. In a fluid motion and a flash of brilliant yellow, her right arm swept upward, meeting the beast head on. The result was a vile creature, cleaved in half so very effortlessly. As she dispatched the creature, she watched as the others dispatched theirs as well.
Only their current situation seemed dire indeed. High in the sky, pillars of flames and wings alike both assaulted every living creature in the field. Like an insatiable beast they would ravage anything set their fangs upon. No one would want to willingly put themselves in harms way. And yet? Cassandra found herself using her blade as a beacon of a sort. Each beam of ignited plasma would target Cassandra; every lick of flames that sought freedom from the Angelic Wings attempted to make their own assault upon the Venerian Vanguard. Like a lightning rod, she called them to her, unafraid of their strength. Allowing them to close the distance to her just enough to to swing mightily as her blade clashed with the attacks valiantly to spare all others from the assault. The bolus of power shot into the distance, securing the group's safely. But not all others were as supporting. The men. They were always involved in conflict, and like savages, they brought conflict to this unsightly realm of existence, too. Like all men, they fell on the wrong side of battle. What was the wrong side of the battle? Well, it was every battle fought against Cassandra.
As he tore the flesh apart from her sister, Damien would get the chance to finally brush off what was on his shoulder. What had always been falling since they had arrived. Lost without his counterpart, Muninn flew overhead, protecting Cassandra's known allies. With a shortage of humans who had only two legs with nothing in between, her list of allies fell short. In sisterhood, she stood with the flailing Valkyrie. Looking up at Damien, who undoubtedly would begin the revel in the streams of blood that would fountain out of the stump where the Valkyrie's head had once been, Cassandra muttered only a few words. "This is a hero; a sister. Did you think killing her would earn you much desired victory? It won't. Why? Heroes never die." A bad pun, but effective never the less. Where Alexandria's mangled body would begin to fall and its power beginning to fail as her body went into shock, there remained an upright body. One that would not perish unless the flames of hell sought its destruction itself. The sister Valkyrie would remember every sinew of muscle that had been pulled apart. Torn and ripped forcibly. It would fuel her anger and power against the Dreadnought. No longer being held by the demon, the angel could rise again.
With time once again on her side, she readied her blade once more. Firmly, she pointed it boldly at Damien. It would only take a single moment and he would be lifeless, struck from this world by his superior at least. That in itself was a treasure. While her patrons would deem it just, Cassandra fell short on faith with their current predicament. The last thing she wanted to see was Solaris being assaulted by Antony, and Elessia being assaulted by any of these mongrels. Yet, it needed to be done. As long as Elessia and Solaris remained active, they tarnished Michael's beliefs. They were unfit to lead Vangelism. They were unfit to lead anyone. As highly as Solaris praised herself and Elessia among other leaders, she lost track of what it meant to be a leader. To look at someone you want to murder slowly, and recognize that even they had a purpose in life. A purpose that would see Cassandra reunited with Auriel. In the end, that was all that mattered. "You waste your time fighting each other. This is what Elessia wanted! Send the mortals to only Michael knows where and see the weakest of wills attack their known superiors. Let us leave this place and be done with it! I have someone I love that is fighting the same hell we were just fighting. And I refuse to let her fight alone for long. Stay and fight among yourselves and seek death's embrace on Elessia's terms. Or, move along and find yourselves back in loving arms where you damn well prefer them!"
Seeking no form of acknowledgement, Cassandra stepped away from the situation. While their help would be appreciated in navigating through this hell, Cassandra would travel through whatever it took to find her place back by Auriel's side. No amount of ******** would interfere with that.
• We Fly With Her As long as either Huginn or Muninn fly overhead, Cassandra is blessed by the same magic that she carries inside of her. This magic however, is much more potent, as Huginn and Muninn's power originates from the first plane. First, the area is bathed in a dust like substance. This dust, when it hits the ground, grows increasingly luminescent until it feels like sunlight coming from below. Regardless of the time of day, enemy beings in the area who are effected by sunlight receive the negative effects as they would if the sun were out. Secondly, while Cassandra, or any of her allies, stands on this luminescent dust, their regeneration is boosted to that of a Lycan's.
• The Planar Oversight Huginn and Muninn exists both in the 1st plane, and the 3rd. Physically they can't be struck, and when attacked with energy, most of the attack shifts past them. It makes them extremely hard to hit or kill. This is how they are capable of flying peacefully overhead, granting buffs to Cassandra and her Valkyrie allies. From overhead, they can bless Cassandra with the gift of birds eye view of the battlefield. They do this passively even when she's not in combat.
• Wisdom and Morality When in doubt of what to do next, Huginn and Muninn bless Cassandra with their own thoughts. Individually, they have their own thoughts. Huginn is capable of seeing into any individual in Axiom, and he is able to tell Cassandra exactly what kind of creature lies before her and their power levels. Whether she should engage them, or not. Muninn is granted the Valkyrie's ability to see where exactly someone lies on the moral compass. His ability, though, is strengthened beyond what any Valkyrie can do. Muninn is capable of looking into anyone's past by simply reading their energy. With that, he can determine the possible future. They communicate this via thoughts to Cassandra.
• Deflection [ Passive ] As Varði's channeled energy grows stronger every post, it can rise to high ranks, dealing just as much damage as any attack. With power levels just as high, Varði can deflect projectile attacks up to its rank.
Technique
• Spirit [ E-S ] (A used, boosted to S) By using Spirit, Cassandra can easily skip a few posts of her waiting for Varði to power up. Instead, she will use this skill to jump Varði up to the level she desires.
• Varði E (Currently powered to S, with rank boost = SS) Vardi is the name of a blade's hilt owned by Cassandra, and it was given to her by Uriel. The Hilt of the blade was once on Dutybound which is Uriel's primary weapon. She uses the hilt as a conduit for her power for her power, and will funnel energy into the hilt, causing a weightless blade to form out of the hilt. This weapon never dulls, because Cassandra's energy constantly flows into it. With every consecutive use per post, the strength of Vardi grows. With the first swing starting at E Ranked damage, with the 2nd post at D, 3rd at C, 4th at B, 5th at A 6th at B, 7th at S, and the 8th at SS while the energy costs remains the same. A use in a post can be attacking, defending, using the sword for evasive maneuvers. Even some of the skills in this talent assist in a 'use'. Wounds caused by Vardi can't be passively regenerated in battle, unless using an activated healing skill.
