The skyline over Metropolis burned a dark red, as it had done so for the last two years. The sun had been taken by the dark clouds that had engulfed the entire globe, blanketing the earth in a grim darkness. Plant and animal life had been on a decline as a result, and it was still unknown how the 'enemy' had accomplished such a feat. Although it was not hard to believe such a horror was impossible given that their enemy was a literal god.

When the forces of Apokolips had first arrived on the planet, it was with such destructive fury that several countries had fallen in a matter of days, the most notable of which had been the Republic of China. Fire and death had rained down from the sky as legions of parademons descended from great gateways in the skies, blasting away and cutting down humans ;civilian and military whenever and wherever they could. Massive engines of destruction tore away at buildings and monuments, and giant dog-like cavalry had rode down any that tried to flee.

Several more countries had fallen in the following weeks before the world as a whole was able to unite and hold their ground. The One Earth Coalition, as it had come to be called was what the remaining forces of Earth had gone under, led by the greatest among them. Heroes such as Wonder Woman, The Flash, Batman, and Martian Manhunter, along with various others had been at the forefront of every defense and counter offensive, leading the brave men and women of the Coalition against their demonic-alien enemy.

Despite such unity and even adversity however, it was not enough. Victories had grown fewer and fewer, more and more territory had been taken by the forces of Apokolips, and even the heroes of Earth had started to fall, one by one, until only a paltry few remained. Heroes had faced the very gods themselves, and they had been found wanting. The war had gone on for two years. Two long, bloody years of fighting and surviving against impossible odds. In all of this, many had wondered if their greatest warrior, Superman, had been at his strongest, perhaps they would have stood a better chance. After all, who else but the Kryptonian could stand before Darkseid, the very entity of darkness and evil himself.

With the under water city of Atlantis having finally fallen to the alien invaders, Metropolis, the city of tomorrow, home to the Man of Steel stood as the last stronghold for humanity. The great city found itself protected by a vast emerald dome, a result of Green Lantern will power and Kryptonian technology retrofitted by Lex Luthor and Batman himself. The shield had stood for well over three months, but time was soon running out.

The hordes of Darkseid surrounded the city, thousands upon thousands of parademons and mortal soldiers of Apokolips awaited at the outskirts, picking, slashing and blasting away at the the dome as they had continued doing for the last three months. The monsters bayed and howled, crying out demands of blood and death and chanting one word.

"DARKSEID! DARKSEID!DARKSEID!"

The attack on earth by Darkseid and his minions took a toll for the worst. The sky changed, dead bodies everywhere, debris and destruction everywhere. It seems that this world is really going to catch on fire. However it didn't stop Lawton from surviving to the very end. Before the attacks he was just captured again by Batman after completing an assassination contract he made with Black Mask. However before he planned his escape from Arkham, the parademons attacked. Almost all of Gotham's prisoners succumbed to the invaders despite such resistance. Knowing he couldn't handle all of them, Deadshot managed to grab his gear and hid underground in Gotham's Sewers. For years he survived from eating foraged food and scraps of water, and silently evading the invaders. However, as of now he is down to his last clip of ammunition, making his survival rate extremely low. Sitting in the corner he grabbed one of the last bottle of whiskey he had from his stash of supplies. He grabbed his radio that he found recently from the debris above the surface of what was once Gotham City, hoping that the batteries still work. Perhaps he can call the Justice league or anyone to help him get the hell out of there.

Seattle > Metropolis 2016
Dinah had seen several of lives lost to whatever the cause of this mass destruction was. These past two years were rather hectic and physically demanding for the heroes on foot including her and the Green Arrow Team. It wasn't until a few months ago that she took a pregnancy test resulting in her and Oliver expecting a child. They traveled to Metropolis to assemble those who felt enabled to stand a chance as a larger group against this super villain and their henchmen, also known as Darkseild and the parademons following his attacks. Seattle, a home to Dinah had been one of the first to collapse given her canary cry combined with combat and Ollie's tactical skills with arrows as well as his own fighting skills could only hold up so long. It wasn't until long that their trusted friend, John Diggle helped them control some of the areas of the city which bought them some time as dozens of people were packing and leaving. From what Dinah saw, Oliver among the rest of the still alive heroes received stress calls in order to band together, hero and villain alike for the purpose of reconquering their home planet. Before this chaos spewed across the globe, Dinah had a court case with her mentor and life long friend, Ted Grant, but couldn't manage to pull the right strings to help him get out of the ditch that was made for him by a group of mobsters. News ran about in Star City and Central City where he was kept in a jail cell, but the next morning reports surfaced depicting and talking about the last glorious moments in the young boxer's life as he was killed by inmates in the middle of the night. She had experience another heart aching blow as Grant had a special place in not only her, but her family's history. Dinah now with child, she wasn't hesitant to fight as she didn't want to hold back the chance at saving the planet; saying no as an answer just would not cut it for herself. She wanted to help.

Themyscira > Metropolis 2016
It wasn't long before Diana had taken up a couple parademons single handedly and with the use of her lasso plus, her sword came to aid very well. Two years of vigorous long battles with these beings and she hadn't grown tired herself, but rather tired of the constant draw backs. It began with one, then five, then twenty and so on cities falling into the hands of Darksied. Diana took a small break of battle a week before this incident occurred--her home land was safe then, but now she knew they could have done something to protect themselves from this force, be it godly or any other choice that came to her mother's mind. Nonetheless, she still wondered what of the Amazonians...if of course...they hadn't survived? Who was she kidding. They must have since they were among the top tier combatants aside from the heroes who could fight against these beings. The questions still puzzled her and among the countless, one still remained: Where was Superman? After the whole Starro event, it seemed like this planet was destined for doom, in her eyes anyways. She could have stayed with the Amazonians and banded together, but the last intel she had on them was the loss of other groups on other parts of the world. Superman being one of the very few people, much less aliens who could defeat a villain like Darksield said a lot on its own, but Diana chose to stay with her other friends as the task force to save humanity. Perhaps she thought, she could also enforce her own abilities mixed in with her alliances's to at most try to obliterate this form of evil who wanted Earth in ashes.

Nearly poetic, Pamela had watched up high from a place in the world, as the surrounding earth shattered below her feet. Ivy of years before might have cheered with joy, thankful to be finally rid of the human wastrels, to finally have a chance to build the world anew out of the crumbling ashes, of this one. But above the Parademons had gathered so thick and dark against the sky that they blot out the sun in a continuous smothering haze, below them the land screamed, her children died, a woman's heart torn asunder, ravaged with fury and bitter malice. There was no end in sight, for every one she had destroyed in her rage, another appeared to replace it, before long she was clambering up mountains of corpses, wading ankle deep in mires of blood, both human and Parademon alike. Darkseid and his armies hadn't been the turning point, but it certainly had been a catalyst for the floronic maidens decision. Ivy had made up her mind some years prior to try and 'turn a new leaf' Robin and Nightwing had been the first to put their faith in the lady, and with some regret Batman had slowly followed in line, in embracing her new way of thinking always wary of her actions, seemingly certain she'd return back to her former patterns. But if there was ever a test of her allegiances, it would have been here faced with the inevitable destruction of the planet. With all the sound and fury a woman of the wood could provide, Ivy had in horror watched as her precious Earth slowly began to wilt away and die beneath her feet. The slate had been wiped clean, Gotham lost in a ball of hot ash, and a rain of blood, and with it, gone, her beloved Greenhouse. Everything Ivy held dear had been taken, her darling Eve gone forever, her beloved Adam and a few stray seedlings were all that remained. Not quite able to go toe to toe with the likes of Darkseid... To stand beside Wonder Woman, the Lanterns and the rest, she had been placed on 'survivor duty' sent to protect and rescue the very things she had hated oh so long ago, had to find a sanctuary... If there was such a thing.

"--Hold on, don't move... You'll only make it worse," the temptress instructed, kneeling low, slender hand touched to the ground, as she stimulated the roots below the soil, easily lifting a section of concrete off a pinned civilian. Instantly the small group she had gathered livened, one woman parting with a small child cradled against her chest, "--My god! Thankyou!!" rushing joyfully towards the man embracing him, as he came away with only a limp, Ivy smiled distantly, casually brushing back her vibrant Ruby hair. Still, even as the section dropped back into place, Pam wondered if she really had done him a Justice, A limp, in this day and age often meant death, but in a world such as this was, he was given a second chance for survival, one had to take victories when they appeared, no matter how small they were. Ivy had strayed for now from Metropolis, the city had become a battlefield, a hunting ground, carrying out her duties there would have been suicide for certain. Gathered instead in Gotham city, losing herself and the others amongst the rubble, hiding like rats when a Parademon flew overhead, destroying it when it neared too close, Ivy wondered... As she moved forward with her ragged entourage, had the war already ended? Was the planet dominated by those...things, would they ever leave? Were they all that was left, was everyone dead? So many questions wracked her mind, what she wouldn't have given to see a familiar face... A face before the end times. Somewhere along the way, Mike, one of her original found survivors had come across a short wave radio, was s**t for contacting folks in Metropolis about her progress, but worked well trying to find fellow survivors. Pressing the speaker against painted Ruby lips, the otherwise sultry red head (dressed instead in practical found tactical gear) spoke out, curious to see if her signal would be heard, "--Calling all survivors, lost? Injured? Or alone? We provide safety in numbers, it isn't much... But it's something, if you can get this signal, we're close, give us your coordinates... We'll find you,"

After waiting for countless hours, a faint transmission appeared. Deadshot finally dropped his whiskey bottle in disbelief. Survivors? Perhaps there is a slight chance his daughter might be still alive. But could this be the Justice League? The Military? Or perhaps something sinister such as those parademons planning a trap to lure humans....He put his ear closer to the radio to make clear of it. The unkown transmitter continued "-bers, it isn't much... But it's something, if you can get this signal, we're close, give us your coordinates... We'll find you,". Then Deadshot finally recognize the voice, it was Poison Ivy. There was no doubt that it was her because she spent time in Arkham alongside with him. Her constant visits to Arkham was long enough for Floyd to recognize her voice. Not sure whether his signal will be heard Deadshot was quick to respond. "Well I'll be damned. I never expected you to be my savior Pamela. Actually to be honest, I don't even picture you as a savior at all." Deadshot jeered but desperate for help there is no time for playing around. Deadshot finally gave his location to her in hopes to finally live in peace instead of living like a pathetic sewer freak like Killer Croc. "I'm located in one of Gotham's sewer systems close to where Arkham used to be in. Of course it's the most common escape route after all for criminals like us."

"When we are struck at without reason, we should strike back again very hard; I am sure we should - so hard as to teach the person who struck us never to do it again."

Circe was a fool to believe that Darkseid would spare the miscreant's of Earth. The parademons had taken Circe's bestiamorph army by surprise. Managing to salvage little under half of the army, Circe fought back. A temporary victory was not one to celebrate. As the days, months and years would push on, it was obvious. Darkseid was not relenting. She was desperate. She had given into the foulest that magic could offer, actively using necromancy to resurrect the fallen as mindless undead servants - more meat shield than warriors. Keeping safe from the parademons was not an issue, her mastery over magic kept her well protected, and even managed to bring some new bestiamorphs under her service - but it wasn't enough. Begrudingly, the sorceress found herself allying with her nemsis, Wonder Woman. "I must admit, I always thought your and your 'friends' cared little about these humans. That an Amazon's "mercy" is only skin deep! And that in the end you only look at the world as us and them." Circe was fiercly casting spells, burning one parademon to death, then ripping another apart as they had drawn close to an already occupied Wonder Woman, "I was wrong, Diana." Circe turned, looking at at a ruined Metropolis. Wave after wave of parademons, it seemed endless. "But I know this, every last one of those creatures will burn before this city falls!"

The speaker had only hummed its static silence for but a short moment, before it stirred with life, distant and slightly muffled, came a voice on the end of the line, Pamela intently listened "--Well I'll be damned..." 'that voice', she thought breathlessly, her heart frozen in place with trepidation... Worried she was hearing the voices of the dead lost within the pleas of the destitute. "--I never expected you to be my savior Pamela. Actually to be honest, I don't even picture you as a savior at all," she'd smirk at his words, 'Nope, no ghosts...' She could recognize his voice anywhere, Deadshot "-What can I say? That b***h Darkseid and his army s**t all over my Garden, I got a bone to pick with them," that certainly sounded like the real Ivy, in her prime, no one in their right mind dared to tread too hard on her Earth, unless they wished to suffer the ladies wrath. Still, more then just vengeance was in play now days, Ivy had sworn her allegiance to the League, too the ultimate goal, Earths salvation, no way she was going to be turned into one of those mindless Parademon drones constantly chanting Darkseid over and over again. "--Besides, friends are fewer and far between these days, best to take them when you can." enough idle chatter, onto business, having received his location, understanding exactly where he was, she uttered, "--Sit tight, we're on our way Floyd...Ivy over and out." even now her tongue seemed to betray her, was he really alive? Was it really a surprise? After all he had been trained for this survival s**t, Pam herself had only imagined she still lived because she had A. Stayed out of the thick of battle, and B. Had been a Meta-Human. A strange sort of bittersweet joy filled her, the thought she'd see a familiar face, one she knew before the skies split open.

They hadn't been very far from Floyds location, meanwhile, the husband... The father she rescued was holding up better then expected, craftily forging a splint out of found materials, spoke about being ex military or some such, admit to being in worse jams injury wise before, 'A little limp not going to kick his a**' said right from the horses mouth. For now Parademon activity was light, Darkseids generals thankfully (or perhaps not so thankfully for the League) were most certainly in Metropolis, no need to beat a dead horse... Gotham had fallen... Better for them, but still she kept her rag tag team together, said she could keep them safe better if they were close. Before her Arkham asylum had crumbled under its own weight, only half remained, it's towering steeples and halls stripped naked, innards scorched and spilling outwards, somewhere lost within the scattered rubble she was certain that cursed bullet proof glass Terarium, her cell... Still survived as a reminder of what had been. Small victories, though she would have never wished for its absence at the expense of the world. Navigating the hidden sewer path easily, despite its few new cosmetic details, she followed through its narrow underground corridors, her party close on her heels, until she round one final corner, coming face to face with the man himself, "-Jesus, I never thought I'd be so damned happy to see your Merc a**...and I apologize for this..." without invitation, flung her arms around Floyd, hugging him a moment before giving the man some space, the world seemed to be a little less bleak with a familiar face in her life. Glancing around at her group, she nodded to them and back to Lawton, "--Guys this is... A long lost friend, Floyd, this is everyone... Well nearly everyone... The rest are back at the base,"

Where had they gone wrong? It was hard to imagine that even after everything they had done, they were on the brink of destruction. The end of humanity as they knew it and who knows how many more planets were on Darkseid's list of potential targets. His attacks were unexpected, relentless even and he wasn't letting up. Their defenses weren't prepared for such an attack and their weaknesses were all too prominent. With the help of earth's heroes and villains, they provided a counter measure to just about everything Darkseid threw at them. As days went on, battles fought ended with fewer victories almost until there was no hope. The day Gotham fell was the day Batman almost lost all hope. Millions of Gothamites were burned down to ash, crushed by rubble, and everything in between and what could Batman do against a seemingly random encounter with an army of parademons?

Of the known immediate casualties were Alfred Pennyworth and James Gordon, stuck in the middle of the worst of it when Darkseid's army swept the city. It was a crushing blow, one Bruce took down under with him for many months. He mourned his most trusted friend and closest and ally, then finally the innocent citizens of Gotham City. To Darkseid they were nothing, but the deaths of millions fueled Bruce to hit back much harder. Even he knew he couldn't do it all alone. The Justice League was formed to combat evil and keep the peace and they could barely keep up with that. The fact of that matter was: Darkseid was winning. Pushing them to their limits and as their days dwindled, so did their numbers. The world now needed all of the people who were capable enough to defend the earth in it's last days.

Batman stared past the emerald dome, eyeing the parademons that clawed at the exterior. They were persistent creatures, no doubt about it and they wouldn't stop until their goal was achieved. The strongest of the defenders would step out of the dome to thin the numbers down to size every so often when they were really itching for a decent fight, nothing short of the warrior's spirit. With Metropolis still remaining as the last standing city, every able bodied hero and villain put their skills to good use in order to maintain stability. Though Gotham had fallen some time ago, Batman felt it necessary to defend Metropolis as if it were his own, to the very end.

"The dome won't last much longer," Said Batman, aloud and to no one specifically.

It wasn't long until Pamela arrived. He stood up from the ground expecting to thank her but just before he would say anything, she hugged him in amusement. It felt strange to be hugged by her, out of all people. Perhaps he would be considered the only few people who lived to tell their tale of being this close to Poison Ivy. Then Merc smiled underneath his mask, "well seems that you are more happy to see me than I am to you." Right after he made his remark, she started to introduce him to her crew. They weren't much but after all their just her scouting team. "Those flying bastards had me living like a sewer rat. Foraging for scraps of food, water and supplies. It seems like it had been for ages. I thought I would be like that one guy from "I am Legend" or something.." Deadshot then gathered his backpack which has all the supplies he had left. "Anyways this is all I have left. Just a flashlight, a week's worth of food, my last clip of rounds and water bottles. So tell me Is this safe camp you got is actually safe? Where is the Justice League?" He wondered what happened to the Justice League because no matter when s**t like this happened, they always come and save the day.

Her joyous embrace was cut short, words painting her like a dithering lady in a frilly dress, "--Well seems you are more happy to see me, then I am to you," A single Crimson brow raised, Ruby lips pursed in repose as she pulled away, mildly perturbed, "-Oh really? Then stay buried here Floyd," her spitfire personality instantly burning away any joy she had formerly mustered. Turning on heel, she sighed shaking her head, "-Just good to see an old face, at this point even Jokers would have been a blessing. Suppose you'll just have to do," she joked, smile turning savage, "-Those flying bastards had me living like a sewer rat. Foraging for scraps of food, water and supplies, it seems like it had been for ages. I thought I'd be like that one guy from 'I am Legend' or something," made sense, his living the way he had been, the skies no longer belong to Man now, and soon the planets surface would be gone too, hope was running short, "--Anyways, this is all I have left, just a flashlight, a weeks worth of food, my last clip of rounds, and water bottles. So tell me, is this safe camp you got actually safe. Where is the Justice League?" "--You'll see, it's best if you just see for yourself..."

It wasn't long before Ivy, Deadshot, and her advanced team emptied out into their base, an impressive underground facility, hollowed out by Adam himself, Ivys last living leviathan, the man eating floronic master piece whose massive vine like tentacles coiled about the sanctuary cradling those nestled within, stationary for now until the lady willed it. Even more so impressive was the band of Gotham city survivors that she'd secured nestled safely below, and with them, stockpiles of food, access to fresh drinking water, shelter, and scores of ammunition, and a stockpile of military grade weapons, in this hell, the perfect Heaven. Before he'd ask she'd explain, "-The League thought they had a better grasp on the situation, so I elected myself to find survivors and bring them here, the water was easy to come by, plenty of natural underground springs in Gotham... Not to difficult to find when you have a connection as deep as I do to this planet, the shelter... Just as simple, Adam here..." she uttered pausing to pat one of the Gargantuan plants vines, "--Can shred through rock and soil like a hot knife through butter. As for the food, all found items, or brought in from those taken here from the outside, we usually take a small team out to forage, best at night... As for the weapons, which I'm sure you're most interested in... That... Was simply pure dumb luck, A detail of supply trucks were left abandoned when debris blocked the roads, the drivers took all they could carry and left the rest, moving on foot, I guess abandoning their posts... Maybe heading back home to seek their loved ones? Just a guess, the rest... Simply recovered from tireless efforts. Adams opened up various entrances into the cave, all at the heart of our base heavily armed choke points, nothing gets in or out without us knowing about it. So you ask, is it safe? Safest place on this planet I'm pretty damn sure," still her cocky tone would alter to that of a more solemn one, "--I lost contact with the Justice League a couple days ago, though we never really spoke on an official capacity..." pausing she brushed her hair back, if any knew Ivy well enough they'd know she was physically connected through earths vegetation, that she could see through them, hear them like one uses morse code, another of her unusual properties, "--Last I gathered they were defending Earths final standing city, Metropolis, but with communication down, either the surface is far too damaged in that area, or... They're dead and all hope is lost. Truth is Floyd, this past rescue excursion was my last, I know these people are thankful to be alive, but I never should have agreed to be this apocalypses firefighter, I should have been there at Ground Zero. These people can fend for themselves, but I'm going to Metropolis... I and My baby are going to aid any way we can, you're welcome to come, or stay here... Choice is yours, but I'm leaving at first light, if I'm going out, it's in a fiery blaze as Poison Ivy, not wilting safely underground as Pamela Isely. If you come with me, or stay to help defend these people, you have access to our ammunition and guns, betray us however, And you'll be put to death, we've worked too hard to see it all taken away now,"

Lobo IV

Onward the battle raged tedious and trying, forces joined despite color, creed, or allegiance, both villains and heroes alike, fighting beside one another to stem the tide of the world from crumbling beneath them, all battling with their final breath, in the heart of Metropolis. Unfortunately such acts of valor, drew even the worst of them scurrying into the light. Without a second thought not 'giving a fig' to the safety of the scattered survivors outside the dome, to those within, or the security of the dome itself, daring it seemed to 'let loose' the Parademons into their sanctuary just to level a few thousand, Joker flipped the button on his detonation device, instantaneously planted C-4 leveled the remaining city blocks surrounding the Dome, and in turn burned thousands of Parademon troops to ash, hardly a dent in Darkseids armies, but at least (or perhaps not) bide them just a little more time. Laughing hysterically, drenched in the blood of both human and demon alike, in tattered purple duds, the Clown Prince stood proudly, madly soaring on cloud 9, a vision of timeless depravity, elated over it all. He had flocked to this final showdown, a front row seat at Ground Zero, for one purpose and only one purpose alone, Batman. All the while Joker had kept a birds eye view ever constantly on his beloved rival, where he seemed to travel, Joe kept close, bantering all the way, ready for whatever may come, ready for the end, "--If it lifts your spirits Bats, I won't let anyone or anything have the pleasure to kill you but me, it's my hands I want around your throat, or yours around mine!" he shout aloud at him, cackling wildly, lunacy and the savage beauty of this chaotic new paradise surrounding them, burning the madness within him brighter, unlike most of those left on the planet ( aside from Lobo) Joker wasn't afraid, he was thrilled... In his head Beethoven played, an orchestra spout music at his every move, an end to all things... He was almost ready.

Only a few years ago did any of that matter, now he was Hal Jordan the glorified gatekeper. Parademons from all sides relentlessly hacked and slashed at the dome held together by sheer willpower. It's what the ring required from it's user, the might and strength of the willpower they had to bring to the power bargain. Keeping the dome together required his utmost concentration and let him unable to join the casual fights on the outside. "Even I'll admit, they're giving me a run for my money."

Every so often he would let the forces of good and evil out onto the battlefield to thin down the number of Parademons. The more they flushed out, the more that came in to replace the fallen. How many have them came to the realization that they were on the end of a losing battle? What good would it do to prolong the inevitable by keeping the dome together? Hal had not forgotten why they still kept up the fight and would go down swinging if it came down to it.

"So this is what the end of the world looks like." Ollie said with a smirk. It took years for him to finally get over what happened on Lian Yu and live his life. The place would always be with him. His trials there with Sara, and many more would never escape him. But now he was happy. He even gained a sense of humor; choosing not to take life so literal anymore. And on top of that was expecting a child. The thought of it made his heart swell to be a father. To him, it was the greatest accolade he'd ever have. Ollie turned then looking back at Black Canary and Spartan, "You two ready to kick some evil-extraterrestrials-parademon-a**?" he asked, flipping his emerald hood over his head."

15 years wasted. Masquerading as Harrison Wells, creating The Flash through the dark matter storm from the particle accelerator, training him to be the Flash - all of it for nothing. If anything, however, these past 15 years taught Eobard of one thing. Hope. Barry had shown Eobard how far hope had gotten him in his life. If there was to be a future, Eobard had to hope. He had noticed more frequent fluctations in his connection to the speedforce, with each death it grew more unstable. He was losing his anchor to existence. It wouldn't be long before Eddie was butchered by these animals - and if that happens? Hope couldn't do anything.

When one is born 435 years from now, in a time where technology has expanded upon anyone of this centuries imagination - one can accquire a vast amount of understanding of the universe. Eobard was a genius in his time, and his mind in this time was essential for any hope of the dome holding. "It'll never hold at this rate." Harrison ridiculed the standing barrier. Wells dampened the side of his lip quickly with his tongue, and rubbed his head deciding his next action. He took a deep breath, making the most of any air found between the particles of dust and debris. Slipping his hand quickly to the underside of the armrest of his wheelchair, he grabbed a small flash drive. "This Kryptonian technology certainly is something, but its not enough." He raised his right arm, pointing at the green dome. "--the energy this shield is demanding will exhaust them." as he pointed at the Green Lantern. He pulled his wheelchair up close to the Kryptonian piece of tech. He moved his hand over a section of it, revealing a port. Harrison carefully muttered under his breath, "Gideon... initiate transfer of all your data onto this, search every archive for "The Emotional Electromagnetic Spectrum"--" Wells continued to speak as he lowered down and removed the bottom piecing of wheelchair, remaining careful of watching eyes. He pulled out an orange glowing circular device, and attached it to the southern most area of the tech. "--recognise isolated tachyonic energy and act in tandum with device as a quantum splicer between the the Kryptonian technology and Green Lantern energy." Eobard knew full well what this meant, his companion whom he had spent over 15 years with was now going to act as a sacrifice in maintaining the shield, it would now splice together both energies to create a stronger dome that would hold off the attack for longer. "Transfer complete. Goodbye, Dr Wells." said Gideon monotously. Wells tightened his lips at the loss, he couldn't help but feel this was the end regardless of her sacrifice. As his feeling of hope began to fade, he remembered just who had taught him to feel it.

The Flash. Wells raised his eyebrows in realisation, and in a final act of desperation, he tapped into the comlinks in Barry's ears. "Barry... if you can hear me, you need to listen. Don't give up, anything is possible with your speed. You've fought through so much, your mother and fathers murder, Jay's betrayal... Iris." Harrison took off his glasses, and began to lean in closer. "Breathe. Breathe. Feel the air. Feel that wind on your face. Feel the ground, your feet lifting you up, pushing you forward, and the lightning - Barry, feel the lightning. Feel its power. It's electricity pumping through your veins, crackling through you, traveling to every nerve in your body, like a shock. You're no longer you now. You're part of something greater. You're a part of a speed-force. It's yours. Now do it. Run, Barry, Run!" He sat back in his wheelchair, and his heart thumping. He had faith in Barry, he knew he would figure it out.
