Hyperborea and Erytheia reappeared on the hill of the Hyperborean acropolis. Beneath them stretched the large stone city surrounded by crumbling walls. From the trees that lined the path down the hill, rainbow colored cherry blossom petals fluttered in the cosmic wind.
Behind them loomed the giant gate to the courtyard of the acropolis. Above them stretched countless stars with three large purple stars shining brighter than the rest.
"I welcome you, Erytheia of Cosmos, to the grand city within the stars, Hyperborea." She said with a curtsy. The oath mark in her eye glowed brighter.

Erytheia couldn't quite describe what he was feeling as his body left Earth. It was anticipation. It was weightlessness. It was fear. It was certainty. It was questions. It was answers. It was wonder. The boy's eyes opened and it was wonder. He had never seen anything like it before. He was in space as sure as anything. The first thing he saw - as he was looking up when he finally opened his eyes - was the stars. And they were far more beautiful here then he had ever experienced on the Earth. His eyes sparkled like the stars themselves in his wonder. "Can you see the stars like this on all the wonders?" ✪

"Not every wonder no." She replied honestly. "Most wonders are set on planets with atmospheres like earth so you can only see the stars at night."
"However the wonders of Cosmos are different. We serve the princess of the stars and as such our wonders are set amongst the stars. Some Cosmos wonders drift through space while others like mine are anchored to a single spot." She explained, though admittedly it was an assumption as she hadn't been to every single Cosmos wonder but she felt safe assuming they all functioned similarly.
"So if you want I'll show you around, I can even show you my code piece if you want." She offered as she started walking towards the gate leading into the courtyard.

The princess of the stars. Cosmos. He wondered what she was like. "Please." Erytheia replied instinctively at her suggestion of visiting the code piece as if a force had taken hold of the page. "I would love to see it."Would his wonder be among the stars too? ✪

As the two passed through the gate they were greeted with the sight of a court yard adorned with rainbow colored cherry blossom trees and grand marble buildings. A large bronze statue of an ancient knight stood in the center of the court yard, it was holding up a golden javelin high in the air.
Hyperborea pointed to a large building. "That is my ancestral home, it's where I stay if I spend the night here. And over there is the grand baths, which are kept magically heated." She explained as she pointed to another building which had steam rolling out from between the pillars. She always enjoyed giving tours of her wonder.
She pointed to a football stadium sized building. "That is the temple of Apollon, first knight of Hyperborea and according to my ancestors it's patron god." She gave a brief tour of the rest of the court yard pointing out the magic forge and her training area.
"This is a short cut to my code piece." She said as they approached a sealed off tunnel entrance. She placed her hand on the stone slab and willed some of her magic into it. It glowed briefly before sliding down into the earth revealing a staircase descending into the depths of the wonder dimly lit by glowing crystals.

The trees were the most beautiful he had ever seen. He had always loved cherry blossoms in spring, but had never seen any such as these. He caught a falling petal in his hands and admired the colorful blossom. "Hyperborea," Erytheia inquired as she magically opened the door. "How did you come to know all this about your wonder?"After all, he knew next to nothing about his own. ✪

"Oh my ancestor taught me about it." She said and then realized he might now know what she was talking about.
"I'm a descended knight, so knighthood is in my blood, and that means that my ancestor, the last knight of Hyperborea's, starseed is still here on the wonder. Because of that his ghost is able to still haunt here and teach me about my knighthood and wonder." She explained.
"He tends to stay away when I have guests, but if you'd like I can introduce you." She offered.

Erytheia had never thought of that before. Knights were supposed to have been protecting their wonders for thousands of years. He guessed it made sense that Hyperborea wasn't the only knight to ever protect her world. "You said his starseed is still here." He pressed his lips together in a frown as if thinking it over. "How can it still be here? Shouldn't it have gone back to the Cauldron?"Now Erytheia was thinking like a knight of Cosmos. ✪

Hyperborea smiled, still a page and yet he seemed to fit into his role as a knight of Cosmos very well. "Under normal circumstances yes. But He wasn't ready to leave yet. I think he, and other ancestors like him, wanted to stay and protect their wonders until a new knight awoke to take their place. Their will was strong enough to resist the call of the Cauldron. At least that's what I assume happened, it's hard to say for sure." She admitted.
"I'm sure once he thinks I can protect this place on my own he'll ask me to help him move on, I've heard of other ancestors doing this." She said. She motioned for the page to follow her into the stairway, they could walk and talk. The stairway was lit by glowing purple crystal stars on the ceiling and the walls were decorated by a mosaic depicting ancient Hyperborean knights.

Erytheia followed her down the stairs and through the purple light of the stars. The crystals gave a solemn feeling to the place as they descended. He looked at the mosaic with its depiction of past knights of this world. "Will there be someone waiting for me on my wonder?"✪

"I'm honestly not sure, if you're a knight though blood like me then you should but if you're a reincarnate knight. Well then you'll have memories waiting for you, from what I've heard when people who are reincarnated visit their wonders or planets they have visions where they experience their past life." She explained.
The stairway led out into a a single hall way with one end opening up to a stairway of its own and the other end was an archway leading into a brightly lit room.
"This is my code piece." She said motioning to the room.
She walked in and was greeted with the sight of her code piece, a large floating rainbow colored crystal with a pulsating orb of light about the size of a baseball inside it. The rest of the chamber was covered in glowing vein like lines of magic flowing to the rest of the wonder. There was four knight statues positioned at the four corners of the room.

Could he have been reincarnated? That would explain the feeling the page kept getting in his star seed. Erytheia supposed he would have to travel to his wonder to truely know as was becoming quite clear now. "So that is what the code is..." He had known that must be it even before Hyperborea had said so. The glowing mass of crystal pulsed with an undeniable power. This was the code that all knights knew of in their hearts. "How did you first find this piece of the code on your wonder?"✪

"Well, the pathway up there leads to a shifting labyrinth that leads back up to the acropolis as well. I spent alot of time when I was a page and squire exploring it. On the night I both transcended and was made a knight I found my way down here with a friend of mine, Babylon of Mercury. I felt like something was calling me forward." She explained.
"At the time the magic wasn't working right on my wonder, I discovered there was a miasma down here that was interfering, so I used my code piece to burn it away and that is how I got these transcendence marks. For a moment I became one with the whole of my wonder." She relayed her story.

The magic wasn't working when she first came to her wonder. Maybe his wonder would be the same. Who knew how long it had been since someone had been there. Would there even be anything left on his own wonder after all these years? Erytheia pondered this as he took one last look at the code piece. "Thank you for showing me your wonder." The page nodded, almost bowed, in gratitude. "I think I needed to see this."✪

"I'm glad I could help." She said with a smile. "I'll take you back now." She said taking Erytheia's hand.
"To go back to Earth just envision it and will yourself to return." She explained before they disappeared in a flash reappearing in the same spot they had left from.
"It's been a pleasure meeting you Erytheia, please don't heitate to call me if you need anything or even if you just want to hang out." She said with a friendly smile before she turned to leave. "Au revoir, may the stars light your path."
