The winds died, the rustling in the tress silenced. Someone was nearing the glen, but she continued to dance on while she hummed her melody. She lept through the air her bells rejoicing as her dance slowed. She twirled around and stopped facing the entrance of the glen but her eyes were shut. It wasnt until words drifted to her ears as she finished her dance in a bow and kneeling down. Her eyes snapped open and she saw a black stallion at the entrance of the glen.
She was frozen for a few seconds and she stood quickly, her bells ringing echoing her frantic movements. She started to back up as she spoke still spooked. "How long have you been there??", she started and looked around her to confirm her surroundings. She looked at him longer and saw he looked a little ominous, especially with his tail and wait Paws? She would never judge on looks alone but she'd only heard of purewalkers that had paws. She almost panicked, but instead she took a few steps closer. She saw something else in his piercing eyes.....and it wasnt evil. "You are not a walker.....definitely not evil.", she said more to herself then him.
She continued towards him calmly now that her heart calmed. She gave a soft smile, "Do forgive me Sir, I was startled. I didnt realize I was near someones home, do forgive me disturbing you. Forgive my manners, my name is Kachina." She stopped a few feet from him and gave a small bow to him.

When the stallion spoke it took her a back slightly for his voice was much softer and gentler then one would expect. She smiled softly as he spoke and couldnt help but blush and moved dirt under her hoof just a bit embarrassed. "Your words are very kind, I thank you for them. You are very kind Moro and now that you mention it, water sounds like heaven.", she said with a gentle laugh. She was happy to have met this kind stallion, and he proved true to the saying 'you cant judge a soul based on looks alone'. She may not have encountered true evil, but she could tell by his eyes that he was good.
She thought back to some of his earlier words and a frown came to her face thinking to stories her father told her, not only of skinwalkers but also 'the flock' as they were referred to. " 'Those born of hate and evil', have you any encounters with any? And I must confess upon first glance seeing your paws I almost mistook for one such as that, but I can see I was very wrong. I still must apologize for that, even if they were my thoughts alone." She knew it may not amount to much, but she prided herself on being honest with others, she didnt believe in holding any falsehoods, especially when she saw one such as Moro who had kind eyes, though something else lingered in his gaze. Was it loneliness? Either way something pulled her to him and she hoped they could be friends and wished that nothing would taint that possibility.

She listened to his story, skin walkers she had heard many tails but had lucked out in not crossing paths with one in her travels. She could hear the pain and sorrow as he spoke of his past. She had many siblings herself and couldnt imagine being seperated from them, though one older brother was taken from them, but it was before she was born so she cant truly feel the loss herself.
Her own eyes grew sad the more she listened but he thought himself a monster?! No that wasnt right! She didnt interupt him but after hearing him see himself as such, the rest of his words were muffled in her ears. He had such a bright soul, even through the turmoil in darkness.....she trotted in front of him suddenly moments after he stopped speaking. Her eyes were watery at thought of the loneliness and heartache he had been through from such a young age and she couldnt hold back.
"Monster?! Dont say such things about yourself, that couldnt be further from the truth! You dont look like a monster at all, dont do that to yourself. Dont leave yourself in the darkness, its not fair to yourself......", stray tears flowed down her cheeks. She wasnt sure why she let it affect her so, but she couldnt stand for him being so sad and thinking he may always be seen as a monster. She lowered her head and turned around not wanting to face him. She looked back her eyes downcast and quietly spoke again. "Im sorry, that was out of line. I got away from myself. As for your question, I travel a lot. I love learning about different cultures and their histories and Im always looking to learn lore and new songs and dances where I go." She still had her eyes downcast and was blushing again but tried to give a small smile.
